A second chance…read more.. So... a little better than the previous experience way back in 2019. I ordered "Dealers Choice" I said any Iced drink and no dairy. Got Butterscotch Creme Brulee which was ok--Not that sweet, I came home and added caramel syrup to sweeten it up but I also know it was a crapshoot so... I do like that they have new flavors every month and I love the random idea... but I do not think it was dairy free... In fact when she was making it I thought I saw her add cream, I am not sure and she was making 2 other drinks at the same time so I didn't speak up and hoped she understood "No dairy" but the reason I say that is I am lactose intolerant and after drinking a few sips, I started having tummy issues.... I am going to go back... because I love the rotating drink menu and I love their hot coffee which I had at Sunrise Cafe a while back and I want to buy a box of their K cups... It's a refreshing escape from the typical coffee shop atmosphere. One of my favorite features is the variety of seating options. Whether you want to study, hang out, or simply relax, they have a setup for you. There's a comfy lounge area with sofas for a laid-back vibe, as well as high-top chairs if you prefer a more upright workspace. It's clear they put thought into making the space both functional and inviting. The drink selection is impressive. They offer a wide range of flavored syrups and teas, and one that really caught my attention was the hibiscus tea with coconut--unique and intriguing. Although I didn't order it this time, I did end up buying two bags of their signature Love Potion coffee beans, and I can't wait to try them at home. I also loved seeing the barrels of coffee for sale; it adds to the charm and authenticity of the place. They also serve a small but appealing assortment of pastries, along with a solid lineup of coffees and teas available in small, medium, or large. The longganisa pandesal was flavorful and plentiful along with the tocino pandesal. They both come with egg and cheese. It was really good. The turon brûlée latte is one of the best ones I've had. It's perfect and not too sweet. The turon simply adds flavor to the latte and doesn't over power it. Milo mocha latte is another one that we enjoyed along with the ube matcha. We also found out that this coffee shop is Filipino American and women owned business. We love supporting businesses that are women owned. Also found out they opened up shop in Tagaytay, Philippines this last June. The drink was really good though. Despite being a crème brûlée flavored latte, it wasn't overly sweet and the espresso still came through. I'd say that this was one of the quieter coffee shops I've worked from locally, so I'd recommend it for remote workers or students.

Except they were just a roasting spot. Well luckily we met the sweetest girl there who hooked it up with some espresso beans and some high quality matcha to bring back to OC. We got 4 complementary sample bags of espresso and a $16 high grade matcha from Japan. I cannot wait to try the products. Recommend if you are looking for a coffee roaster spot.

The turnout was excellent--during the lesson, the place was packed shoulder-to-shoulder, with dancers filling every available inch of floor space. Afterward, a live jazz band took the stage and kept the energy high. The night was genuinely fun, with swing in the air and a lively, nostalgic atmosphere. It did get quite warm inside, but a couple of fans helped keep the air circulating. On regular nights, I understand Coffee Note shifts to a more relaxed open jazz jam session--perfect for sitting at a table with a drink and soaking in the sounds of America's musical past.
