I think the least solar panels that I am involved with have their mart however they did not save me…read morewhat I expected they would. I don't like the pro the way the program works in the summertime when my bills are the highest high receive the least benefit. I do realize it all comes out in the wash But at this stage of the game and with every Konomi being what it is last month my electric bill was the highest it has ever been in the 30 years I've lived in this house horrendous so I am feeling like I am not in a very good position to make a judgment either way because I have never needed service so I can't say whether or not they are reliable in that respect and the fact that the leasing showed up on my credit report was very displeasing to me because I have very good credit and it looks like an additional loan in my name. I'm not sure I will be in my home until the end of this lease so I'm not sure what will happen at that point in time so going forward I have a lot more questions that After I signed up with Solar City it turned into another company and ended up being Ancon with Tesla and the sales person I had hoped to work through was impossible to reach so there are pros and cons I do think Solar is a good idea but I have not benefited as I expected I would there are better ways to go better companies I got in this early and I believe there are probably better companies at this time Cheryl

TESLA solar SUCKS. The previous owner of my house signed into a 20 year PPA 1 year prior to…read moreselling, which I cannot disinherit! The rate was only a penny lower than the PG&E rate, so not grate at all. Sept 2024, I contacted Tesla to remove the panels because I have to replace my roof. First, they should not have installed on such an old roof, I was surprised to learn the poor condition of my roof because my understanding is solar companies will not install on roofs with poor condition. Than I learned that this removal service can ONLY be requested via chat using the app on the mobile device, there isn't a computable app on a computer. So I have to type on a tiny screen at all times. It took a long time to get a CS rep, so this naturally took many days of trying, because I would lose my place if I had to answer a call or text, or zone out and go to another app. They really make you jump through hoops. When in finally got hold of someone and answered a whole series of questions, and more waiting of days for something something to happen (I can't remember those triggering events), I finally got a date in **mid January 2025, 4 months from my request!** Right in the middle of raining season in the dead of Winter! I was told my ONLY other option is to WAIT LONGER into the Spring! Meanwhile rain can October and November, my roof was leaking, but they didn't care. I am held hostage by their solar panels. December 2024, a few days before Christmas, I got a call at 4pm asking if I will be available to have them come the next morning at 8am to remove the panels. At this point, I'm desperate as my roof had been leaking. So I took the last minute appointment. I asked them if I would have to wait months again to reinstall, they said they have no idea, I must chat through the app, that's it their department. I asked if they can ask a supervisor what type of timeframe I will be looking at, I was eventually told it would be quick, maybe a couple of weeks. well, that was a BIG LIE! As advised, I immediately went in the app to request reinstallation, well, I can't! Because it is asking for the roof completion date which i was unable to provide at that moment, because it is a rainy week, and the completion date is at the mercy of the weather! I managed to scramble to get roofers to come, paying a premium because they were scheduled for January. I finally finished the roof after Christmas, As the roofers were finishing, I went immediately into the app to request reinstall, guess when is the soonest date?? **April 30, 2025** that's another FOUR MONTHS!! And there's the issue of where to stash those panels. At no point they tell you you need space to hold them. When they called me for that last minute appointment, I was told they will haul away the panels and will give me new ones. When the remover crew arrived, they told me to move my cars out of the garage so they can put t the panels in there. I told them hell no, put them in the yard. So now, I have a stack of ugly panels in my yard for months!!! What is I live in one of those new developments with no yard and no extra garage space?? This is totally UNACCEPTABLE. I will update this review after reinstallation in April. I can't believe the ordeal takes **8 months**, just to do some roof work! Tesla Solar-you suck! Do not ever get Tesla Solar

I asked a handful of companies for roofing & solar estimates this past month. A couple of them took…read moreages to respond or flaked, but I heard from Buck quickly, and we hopped on a call even while he was recovering from an illness. He was responsive throughout our whole interaction and he ranks up there as one of the most thorough, helpful, and transparent roofing experts I've spoken to. You can tell he loves his vocation, treats his everyone with respect & dignity, and expects high quality workmanship from his team. Our quote was competitive and within a few thousand compared to two other similar companies. While we opted to go with another provider for our roof (it was truly a difficult choice), we'll certainly return to Volt when we're ready to install solar due to the customer service and attentiveness I experienced during the estimate process. I am always skeptical when I see companies with a skewed number of reviews, and I rarely provide a 5 star rating, but I think it's certainly deserved in this case.

He came in $20,000 lower than one bid and at least half that on another bid. He finished the job a week early and under budget. His men were professional and very knowledgeable and were very careful with my property. My new roof looks amazing! I simply can't recommend this company enough.

2 1/2 years ago I took a walk down to the end of my street to speak to a neighbor about his solar…read moresystem. It was probably the most money I ever made in the 30 minutes it took me to get the information I needed and learn about Valley Solar. I had several other solar installers provide me with quotes and some of those were at least twice as much for a similar system. Some companies would not even give me a quote because they did not want to deal with Lodi Electric Utility. Once I contacted Valley Solar in January they responded immediately and I was up and running in March. The system has performed flawlessly producing power and I will break even in another 4 years. Valley Solar is very pro-active and has been out a couple of times to address issues with the system communication function. I did not request these visits, they just called and asked if they could come out and do some upgrades. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Valley Solar's employees have been a delight. Pablo started us off and was willing to discuss…read morequestions even on his weekends. His explanations were clear and not pressured, like many of the sales people were. And he was very responsive. And the others, whose names I would have to search deeper in my memory banks to get, were equally great. But I am adding to my review because of the efforts of Christi, the office manager, who went above and beyond in getting us a rebate from PG&E. We kept on putting it off and she persisted. And we got a tidy sum from her efforts. So, many thanks Valley Solar.
