We had two recommendations for this place and although it took us a little while to find it (we only had a mark on the map without an address) it was worth the detour and asking around the locals.
The place is nicely decorated with a good ambience. We came for lunch and there were two filled tables at the time but soon more people started coming in. We found the rice to be too hard for our taste but our server explained how it was meant to be 'al dente' and made sure to cook them for a bit longer. He turned out to be the owner of the restaurant, a humble and super nice guy. You could tell he was dedicated to providing a good service to his clientele.
Overall, the food was very flavorful, prepared with care and came in a beautiful presentation. Loved the fruits in a jar!
We will definitely come back if we are in Alicante and highly recommend this place. read more
