On June 8, 2025, I arrived at the ER with what was diagnosed as double pneumonia and acute hypoxemia respiratory failure. Early identification of this condition was achieved with blood cultures, imaging (X-rays and CT scans), ECG, continual vitals monitoring, among other diagnostics. Dr. Nicholas Allen Baxter and team reacted quickly with respiratory support, antimicrobials, duonebs treatment, and IV fluids. On the personal side, these superheroes communicated clearly what was happening and were patient in light of my confused state. They arranged an ambulance transfer to a DFW hospital with pulmonary, where I went shortly thereafter. Given my condition that day (exacerbated by my advanced age and underlying condition of bronchiectasis), I'm convinced that its early recognition and rapid treatment in the ER gave me the best chance of survival.

The beds weren't the new technology like the big city hospitals have. Staff was nice, but the wait was crazy! We were scheduled for 0800 for pre op, we didn't get called back untill 1030!!! Wow. That was way longer than any other surgery we've experienced. Tho I can verify if it was a hospital issue or the doctor running behind. The staff was very caring. They followed everything to the T in regard to making sure my wife was set and good to go before they released her. Managed the pain well, and the lady that did the discharge read through almost all of the paper work to make sure we understood. For surgery it was decent.

I have to say, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. The facility is very nice and absolutely spotless! It runs like a well oiled machine! They take you in at the appointed time. They gather whatever info you need and bam the doctor or nurse practitioner is in to see you. The care is excellent and all of the staff is very friendly. My wife went there for an issue with her foot that needed attention , when to Female Doctor came into the examination room she never looked at me or greeted me ( my wife is white and I am African American) she proceeded to greet my wife and totally ignored me . Later on in the conversation with my wife she recommended a medication for her to take , I inquired whether if she needs to rest her foot more that usual for the medication to work better because she will be on her feet at work. The Doctor now looks at me for the first time and says this " I am afraid " , I was puzzled by that response so I said " what " , she then said it again . She then never answered my question and proceeded to ignore me and finished what she was doing and left . To this day I don't know what she was afraid of because she never said and it's completely baffling. As a US Army veteran and a retired person , I have informed veteran organizations of this experience with this outfit and informed friends not to deal with these people. Allergy season was a nightmare because I'm allergic to cedar fever and ragweed, and I could hardly breathe. Dr. Krzeminski recommended surgery, and although I was super nervous and put it off for a year, I finally went through with it. After the surgery, I can breathe tremendously better--just like he said I would. The nurses were fantastic and calmed me down when I was anxious. Plus, the lady at the front desk (I wish I remembered her name) was so helpful when I forgot my CareCredit card. She looked up my account so I didn't have to run back home.
