I told him I was not familiar as I didn't watch much TV. He asked how I got here and where I lived I told him I lived off of 287 and Eden Rd to which his response was oh, on the trailer park!! I find it offensive that he assumed I live in a trailer park and that he went in to telling me what he thinks of immigrants and how they don't follow the system. He spoke to me about the reason why I was there for no more than 5 minutes to then, talk about race, immigration and my accent for over 25 minutes. He was sure to ask where my son was going to high school and to question on his abilities to get in to College. The only reason i did not slap him is because I will not allow him to insult me and I will not get down to his level. If you are a minority or if you are against racism, please do not go there, he was disrespectful and ignorant. What a shame for my community. I will make sure I let the Dr. Who referred me to him know how unprofessional he is so he does not get any more referrals.

While I absolutely love Dr. Saya, I am disappointed in the quality of care I received from this…read moreoffice recently when I needed my beta blocker prescription renewed. I was told I could not get another refill until I saw the doctor again because it has been over a year since my last visit, which I understand is due to policy and standards. I am going through financial hardship and cannot afford to see the doctor again but needed a refill because I was down to my last four pills. I do not have $100 a month I can pay for the payment plan that was offered and when I asked if I could apply my new insurance to help cover my past due balance I was told "no". The person on the phone I spoke with hung up the phone in my ear when I told them I would call back later when I had things figured out. Not even a "goodbye" or a "thank you". It is very dangerous to suddenly go off a beta blocker and I am thankful I was able to find a third party service that was able to refill my medication before my bottle ran out. I was hoping the office would be understanding of my situation and at least offer a 30-day refill until I could come up with the money to see them again. As for the doctor himself, he is amazing. I hate to give his practice two stars but the office would do well to undergo some training in how to deal with patients who may be struggling financially instead of giving them the cold shoulder.
