I am a Hispanic professional who has an accent. Dr. James A Richardson an older Caucasian doctor at this facility, went in to letting me know he was against what was going on at the border. I told him I was not familiar as I didn't watch much TV. He asked how I got here and where I lived I told him I lived off of 287 and Eden Rd to which his response was oh, on the trailer park!! I find it offensive that he assumed I live in a trailer park and that he went in to telling me what he thinks of immigrants and how they don't follow the system. He spoke to me about the reason why I was there for no more than 5 minutes to then, talk about race, immigration and my accent for over 25 minutes. He was sure to ask where my son was going to high school and to question on his abilities to get in to College. The only reason i did not slap him is because I will not allow him to insult me and I will not get down to his level. If you are a minority or if you are against racism, please do not go there, he was disrespectful and ignorant. What a shame for my community. I will make sure I let the Dr. Who referred me to him know how unprofessional he is so he does not get any more referrals. read more

My uncle had his first appointment yesterday, July 7th, 2021 with Dr. James Allan Richardson at Cardiology Partners in Mansfield, TX. I was told by my uncle that Dr. Richardson asked him where he was from and my uncle said Nigeria. With a chuckle, Dr. Richardson said "I hope you are not one of those people that climbed over the walls to get over here, isn't that ridiculous?" My uncle replied, "No, I have been here for a long time." While my uncle said the doctor asked alot of questions concerning his health and the visit was completed, I for one don't believe that this statement made by the doctor was appropriate. It was insensitive and down right racist. It is alarming that he would even begin a conversation like such and proceed to "care" for a patient. He showed no regard for my uncle and was disgustingly comfortable in saying that statement in the climate of racial injustice in today's society. My uncle said that he expressed this in a jokingly manner. That is not the attitude any physician should have when in the presence of patients. I would not be comfortable if my uncle continued in his care. Conversations of this nature are not appropriate in the workspace and he should treat all patients with kindness and respect. read more

I have been following with Dr. Levi Rice for about 1 year. He is the Absolute Best! Hes very caring and compassionate with his patients. He explains everything and puts your mind at ease. I really do appreciate him. The office is very spacious and I think there are 5 other doctors who work there as well. If you get cold real easy or are elderly please bring a jacket or a blanket! My husband is a patient of Dr. Taylor. He is great, but the staff that handles the admin side of the business is dysfunctional. That is as polite as I can state it. All you have to do is read the Google reviews and it tells the story. Their overall Google rating is 58 on a 100 scale. Out of 38 reviews they have 17 with the lowest rating- 1 star! My husband had double bypass in July. All was good for 3 months, but then he started having breathing difficulty. It has progressively worsened the past few months. He can now only walk less than 10 steps before being totally winded and his pulse rate goes from 70 to over 100 in a matter of seconds. Dr. Taylor scheduled an echocardiogram for him this past Friday at Noon and a nuclear stress test for today. He received a phone call from at 10:40 on Friday morning saying his appointments had to be cancelled because his insurance had not yet approved the procedures. He immediately called his insurance company and they told him there had been no request summited! Unbelievable! Cardiology Partners tried to blame the insurance company, but they were the ones negligent. He called Humana this afternoon and found out the procedures had been approved. He called Cardiology Partners to get rescheduled and they told him it would be April before they could get him on the schedule. Mid-April at that! He explained to them the situation he was in and the person handling the call, Rachel, told him there was nothing she could do. We have decided to change to another cardiologist office. read more

For some reason my legs were extremely painful to the touch. My PCP sent me to a specialist. He told me all I could do is to wear compression stockings. I can't do this as I cannot get them on by myself. After a different test my PCP sent me to cardiology partners. Since then I have had three procedures done on my legs. I can now touch my legs!! I can walk so much better now. They no longer swell up like they did before. Dr. Saya has done more for me than any previous doctor. I am very grateful to him and his staff. The vein clinic staff are awesome and made me feel very comfortable during the procedures. Each step was explained to me so I knew what to expect. Nobody likes to go through any procedure but they make it easy for their patients. read more

I had 1000 o'clock appointment; it was an hour and 15 minutes before, I saw the doctor. I was with doctor for less than 5 minutes. no one checked on me. I opened the door and was told I was the next patient in line. it was not a good experience. He answered a few questions and listened to my heart and then said see you next year. I've been seeing Dr Saya for a few years. I have no issues with DR. Saya. I felt he always had my best interest in mind. However, there is more to a medical facility than just the doctor. The staff and Cardiology Partners is horrible. I've had more than once where I had an appointment scheduled and when I get there they say I don't have an appointment scheduled. Although they had called and confirmed the appointment. I've was scheduled to have my veins in my legs looked at in their office and it was something DR. Saya had not ordered. The front desk and nurses I talk with on the phone are very rude. Just today I tried to schedule an appointment and was told I had cancelled appointments in the past. I have never cancelled an appointment and don't appreciate the accusatory tone she had with me. I'm transferring to a different doctor and cardiology group. read more

Been going here for a few years. Not happy today though. I had an appointment for 2:45. They called me back to do vitals, ekg and pre appointment things on time. Called prior to an appointment to see if some medication was going to affect my appointment that I had that afternoon, they transferred me to an voicemail. Needing to know something then, I called back, no one would talk to me, just transferred me to another voicemail. Each time I called back just to speak to the office manager, I assume they saw my number and without even saying "hello" or "Cardiology Partners", they just transferred me, because the 3rd time I called back to cancel my appointment, a girls answered the phone just saying rudely, "We are trying to find someone for you.", then just sent me to another voicemail without letting me respond. What if this had been an emergency? All that needed to be said was, "We cannot find someone to answer your question, so just come in." or " Let me find out and call you right back." Forget this medical group!! read more
