However, the last time I went (about a month ago), the massage didn't feel as thorough. It felt more like light touching on my arms and body rather than a full, deep massage, so I didn't walk out feeling fully relaxed. I might give it another try to see if it was just an off day. Parking was easy for the most part. I was able to park right on the street. One downside was that at times the masseuses were talking during the session, which kind of interrupted the relaxation experience.

West Covina Massage Spa (aka Refresh Health Center) recently opened in our neighborhood and my wife…read moreand I decided to stop in today to give it a try. We both took advantage of a 1-hour Full Body massage for $20. So, let me break it down, the $20 massage was half hour on the feet and lower legs and half hour on the back, neck, and arms. Mine was in a side area off of the lobby and my wife was in a private room. Our masseuses (and I believe owners) were Johnny and Aimee. Both massages were very good for really focused on being therapeutic, rather than relaxing. The massage areas were very clean. I used the restroom before my massage and it was clean and in good working condition, as well. Johnny and Aimee were both super friendly and offered insight on exercises we could do to help stretch and relieve stress between massage sessions. We'll definitely go back again. One tip, there's a rear entrance that's not too easy to see, it's kind of in the back of a little shopping center and the sign above the door only says, "Massage and Acupuncture". The same for the main entrance.

The next day my sister's body hurt really bad, she even had bruises (and she's not one easy to bruise, that's me) because of the elbow massages even though she told her not to. So won't be coming back.

I come here every time I have the worst chronic pain attack in need of a good relaxing massage and she always gives me the best therapy ever! You could always request for her to concentrate on a spot where you would rather have her work on -- and believed me --- her soft gentle hands will just make you at ease! I've never seen such a great service like Veena offers. At the end of your appointment she even offers a bottled water and some snacks !!! The music was the perfect volume and relaxing. I asked for a female masseuse and that was no problem. Apparently they only hire women because men make some clients feel uncomfortable. My masseuse, Michelle, was wonderful. Normally, at this type of massage place, I walk out feeling like I got beat up but I felt really good here. The massage strokes had just the right amount of pressure, which was actually putting me to sleep. The only negative thing I saw here was that they seemed to be understaffed. A group of four came in and were turned away. I would recommend calling in advance just to make sure they have availability. Luckily I walked in at the right time (Sunday, 3:45 pm) and got into a room immediately. The price for a one hour, full body massage was $40. They have a stamp card, like most other places. After 7 full body massages, you get $20 off the 8th. I think I finally found a place that I will come back too.

I have been really satisfied with their service because the worker is very skilled and thorough...she puts her all into a comfortable experience and deep tissue massaging.
