Because of the supply chain issue, The first company said we would have to wait 9 months to start the job. The other companies said 3-6 months out. AMCP said 2-4 weeks and we started in 3 weeks. First of all, all of the work was excellent. That included the granite counter top production and installation, installation of appliances, adding the pull out shelves w soft closing, cleanup, patching up from demolition, and the small of carpentry work. I would rate the installation of the tile backsplash very good. Part of the problem was the framing metal. I don't think the corner of the shulers (sp.) came out as well as I expected. Otherwise the tile work was excellent. If I had one overall complaint, it would be the timing of the process. Because of supply chain issues, there were disruptions that delayed the project a little. I discussed this issue w Vadim and he informed me that he was going to add a supervisor. I think the project would have proceeded faster if someone would have been able to adjust the schedule of work order in order to reduce the down time. We loved our granite and there was enough extra granite to add two countertops to a bathroom and hallway. Normally this would have gone to waste. As expected our appliances were late. Vadim installed all of them except the refrigerator, which was delayed and I had the appliance company install it. They cleaned up after work every day. I am very happy with the finished product given we did not replace the cabinets and just had them painted. Overall, I would rate them as excellent. As with any project, there were unforeseen issues. Vadim would listen and address them. We are very happy with our finished product. We enjoy an updated kitchen with granite counter tops and modern appliances.

Tom is the only local electrician I trust. He is extremely responsive and has helped us with our…read morehome's electrical issues a handful of times. The first occurrence was an emergency, as my chandelier had a hot wire and caught flame. He responded immediately and showed up at our house that evening, discovering a past electrician had wired our attic with commercial 220 wiring -- we're lucky we didn't get electrocuted not knowing and changing multiple lighting fixtures ourselves before the incident. Tom climbed all through the attic fixing multiple rewires, as well as fixing the chandelier and two light switches. He even checked our other bedrooms to make sure they didn't have issues. Another instance, he came same-day to fix a kitchen island light fixture that had fallen out due to a faulty plastic plate (from another mystery previous electrician). He drove over an hour to us on a Sunday evening and we are so grateful for his immaculate work, same-day timing, communication, and friendliness. He's also a fellow vet like my partner so it feels extra nice supporting a local veteran-owned business. Not only is Tom a 10/10 electrician, he's also a 10/10 human!

He has successfully completed hundreds of home inspections for me and many of my real estate colleague's, and has also completed several construction/ remodeling projects for me. The work was completed on time, was of the highest quality and within the allotted budget. Kevin is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable, three qualities that are not necessarily synonymous with the construction industry today. Living in Rio Linda, one of my first phone calls was to RCI Plumbing in Rio Linda. I spoke to a nice lady who assured me they would let the tech guy know, since I had to shut the water off to the house.......we had no running water to the house as I told her it was sort of an emergency, but stable since I turned the water off at the meter. Well, I never got a call back from RCI or their repair guy. I called the next day and was told they were really busy, but they would get a message to the repair guy to call us. Long story short, we never got a followup call back from anyone at RCI....not from anyone! I get they're a large plumbing contractor and our problem, while serious, wasn't important to them. I wish someone at RCI Plumbing had the courtesy to at least call and say sorry pal, we're too busy or the job is too small. Fortunately, I didn't wait for these guys to not call back and called Trenchless Plumbing who took care of the problem as quickly as they could. Very expensive repair, but it's done! Cheers All....
