Twice a week online, I had lessons with Frau Sweeny, and with her help, on April 10th and 12th, I passed both the A1 and A2 exams. Frau Sweeny is an excellent teacher in many ways, here are a few that stand out to me: Temperament: Although Frau Sweeny has many students, she does a great job every lesson. I always learn something new, and when I have questions from the exercises, I always get a detailed answer; she makes sure I have cleared up what I was confused about. Resourcefulness: Frau Sweeny has provided me with many exercises, worksheets, and explanations about how to use them. These were extremely helpful for me, since neither my family, nor anyone I know speaks a word of german. These resources add value to even the time spent outside of lessons. Experience: I didn't realize this until I was actually taking the speaking part of the test. Frau Sweeny and I focused a lot on the speaking part, as it's the most important in passing the test (also difficult for me to practice on my own). Many things Frau Sweeny said became very useful during the test. With her preparation, not only did I pass the A2 test, I got a perfect score on the speaking part.
