Never thought I'd be one of those girls with the fanny pack around her chest but there I was at Lululemon on the hunt for one. My coworker suggest I get one since I really don't like holding purses. That and someone stole my phone a week ago so a fanny pack it is! I walked in to Lululemon for the first time and it was exactly what I was expecting which was a store full of exercise I found the area where all their mini bags and saw one blue mini 'everyday bag' as they're called. I wanted one in black because it's more versatile. They had the size up but that had too much space for the few items I do carry. There were two friendly associates at the registers and I wish I got their names. The male was checking out a guest while I asked the female if they had a mini black everyday bag. She went to go check for their extra inventory in the back and returned with one in black. There was a line so I took the item and went to the back. The guy helped check me out and even cut off the tag so I could use the bag. Overall it was a very short and sweet trip to Lululemon and they had the one thing I was in search for! Will for sure venture further in the store the next time I'm at the mall. read more

I went in to get my pants hemmed and the educator who helped me was dismissive and unhelpful. At first, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but after seeing how warmly and attentively she treated the other customers (both older white women), it became clear I was being treated differently. The interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I later found a review from another woman who raised similar concerns about discrimination at this location, which only reinforced how I felt. When I asked for the educator's name, she told me employees couldn't give out their names, but customer service and other employees later confirmed that wasn't true. Based on my experience, if you're not white, I would think twice before coming here or at the very least, avoid the blonde gal who "helps" with hemming. read more

This is probably the worst Lululemon store I've ever been to so far in California. The store is small but packed with merchandise that looks untouched. And that's for a good reason because the store associates makes it very very obvious that nobody's welcome. I went in there to do an exchange of scubas and other shirts. I ordered sizes that were too big or needed extensive hemming online. So it was just better to just get a smaller size of everything. Before I even got around getting over to the cash register to set my items down, the manager spent some good time ignoring me in line when there was no other customers in the store or getting rung up. She was busy gossiping about another customer who had according to her, had no business at a store like Lulus. I found that really offensive and made me feel entirely uncomfortable and uninterested to shop there that day. Once she decided to finally acknowledge my existence after standing there for good 5+ minutes, I felt admonished by her asking me what I was there for. Oh come on! Surely I must be there to just stand and watch her interaction with other associates for no reason. Definitely not there to shop or have any business to do like exchange or return items. LOL. She also went ahead and asked me whether I have a receipt for the items I was carrying. I told her I wanted to do an exchange and drop off pants for hemming. She insisted that before we even talk about that, she needs to see proof of purchase which I never refused to show. She had a very combative attitude towards me that I have no idea where it came from. Her tone of condescension and attitude were unwarranted. I told her to let me set my stuff down on the counter so I can get the receipt out. She couldn't grimace and not have issues with that either. I have no idea where she was expecting me to set the stuff down. The floor? She even called for 2 other associates to come help and backup the register area. Wtf lady? What did you think I was there to do? Might as well call for mall security and 911 too at the rate she was going. SO RUDE AND OFFENSIVE. I have NEVER had a store experience like this before. As I was getting my phone out to show the receipt, she said to me, "So you're gonna RETURN all of that?? We only allow returns if it's unworn and have tags on still" I didn't even want to bother correcting her that I was actually there to exchange all the stuff and had pants to hem. Most of the items were still in the clear plastic bags and I didn't even try them on because I had duplicate sizes of the same ones that I tried on already. So I had no reason to open or touch them. Talk about the items unworn and tags still attached with proof of purchase! She can eat the $700+ loss in sales from that hour from me returning everything instead of exchanging and most likely willing to purchase extra stuff. My budget that day was extra $300 on top of the original purchase to refresh my wardrobe. I lost more than 45lbs in the past year and went from size 12 down to size 4/6. I had some clothing shopping to do alright and I would have been happy to do so there and then. I initially thought it was nice that the store wasn't crowded and everything looked organized. I just wanted to get the f**k out of there by the time the manager had to begrudgingly open the clear bags and scan the said unworn and tag still attached items. She can't refuse to let me return the stuff when I do have proof of purchase + unworn tags still attached items could she? Her associates also needs better training. Customers aren't deaf or blind. They can hear you perfectly fine especially when you talk about them RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. Gossip about them after they've left the store if you absolutely must. I understand English and can speak it just fine. "Why is she returning all this??? Must have been too small on her" Finally she got to the bottom of the pile with my two Softstreme pintuck pants I brought in for hemming. "You can't return THIS because it's not on the receipt and has no tags on" She looked oh so gleeful and vindicated. No kidding Sherlock! I responded, "that's because it's from a different transaction and I brought it in for hemming" I'm not sorry one bit for returning everything that day. There are other Lululemon locations like the ones in Irvine or South Coast Plaza with much better customer service. I can't believe a Lululemon location like this even exists the way it does. Once the whole transaction was finally completed and over, she instructed me to go to the fitting room for hemming. "We don't do that here at the register" I told her I'm going to get that done elsewhere and walked out. I highly don't recommend anyone to go shop there unless you're into having a bad day. read more

I completely agree with Sabrina's review below. When my husband and I arrived to pick up my order, one staff gave us unwelcoming look. Like a look of disgust, we felt discriminated. My husband brought it up, confirming I wasn't the only one who noticed. From there I left the additional item I was going to buy behind. I'm usually the type of person to speak up about poor customer service, but I kept quiet this time because I really wanted this specific item I picked up and the next closest location for that item was all the way in Ontario. I haven't done reviews for awhile, but this visit deserves one. Out of all the Lululemon stores I have been to, this was hands-down one of the worst retail experiences I've had. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was off. The sales associates are terrible and when they interacted with you, it felt forced and fake--like they were reading off a script from the "Karen School of Customer Service." Polished smiles, zero sincerity. I wasn't looking for a red carpet, just basic courtesy and genuine help. If you're looking for a solid Lululemon experience, skip this locaton and head elsewhere. My husband and I have gone to this store a few times and usually we get good service. However today I sent him to return a few items he purchased for me online and the girls working were incredibly rude and unhelpful. They pretty much profiled him and implied the purchases were stolen. This lululemon has a great selection of clothing however they could use more black bags i think blaack goes with everything and they are super friendly here, they helped me get my refund back when I couldn't get it at the Lululemon in South Coast Plaza. At South Coast Plaza the manager was rude and demeaning and she wouldn't do a return for me so I had to call customer service for them to do it for me. I've been having a lot of issues qith the quality of the clothing the clothing is great for the first few months but definitely use that quality promise if it pertains to you they will eagerly help you out here. Since it's a popular brand, I've visited this store on three different occasions and the service has been consistently non existent. I've ended up leaving empty handed every time. The store has a small footprint so customers are in their line of sight all the time; so zero excuses. I need advice? Suggestions?! Instead, a weak to no greeting. Horrible and awful customer service. You can see by my yelp that I do not leave negative reviews as I tend to be quite understanding. Today I returned 2 size 6 pants for a size 4. Upon return an older woman with short brown hair returned my pants but after the fact, did not allow me to exchange my pants due to my order being purchased with a first responder discount. My brother fought in the Airport Fires for days on end a week prior to this purchase to protect the safety of our community and bought these as a birthday gift for me. Not only that, but he hardly even has the time off to exchange these for me because he's working as a FIRST RESPONDER. You can look in his account and see my size, and can clearly see that he has never purchased anything for me off of this account- this was his first time in multiple years of having his first responder discount of buying me a gift. The lady told us he was abusing his power and stealing/taking advantage of lululemons "generosity". I told her he was unaware of not being able to buy a birthday gift with his own account and she told me he should know better and was again, "abusing power". Then kept repeating "would you abuse power at your job?" & "I don't even give my husband a discount". When I told her I would just like my pants back that I walked in with she quite literally said no and that these "shouldn't have been mine to begin with". she literally would not even give me pants back that I walked in with which was crazy to me. So I told her if I didn't go into lululemon that morning I would have had the pants that I wanted for my birthday- and now I am walking out with nothing. She again reminded me that they should have NEVER ever even been mine and that he's going to get his account closed because he bought me a gift. At the end of this she not only gave me my pants back, but she exchanged the size. I told her multiple times I did not want the size exchanged- I just wanted my pants back. She then went on to saying "I already exchanged them for you" and I again told her I do not want her to "abuse her power" but apparently she changed her mind and decided she did want to abuse her power? Weird. She not only was extremely disrespectful to the fact all my brother wanted to do was buy my a birthday gift and used his very well deserved discount considering it was just fire season and he has been gone for weeks on end. But she ended up exchanging everything. After all of that. She could have either just not exchanged my pants! OR told exchanged them and gave us a warning. Not hold them hostage behind the register lol And lady if you're reading this, you clearly have no relations to any first responders and how deserving they are of these discounts and how hard they work to ensure the safety of the families in Orange County. Will never return to this store again and have already warned friends and family to purchase from other stores. I see others have had issues at the MV store. I took my sons shorts that were ripping at the seams to them to exchange. Yes they're over a year old but stand behind your product. The girl was ok but then the manager Edgar ran up to show his powerful position as the manager of Lulu - what a big man. I have no issues with lululemon the company itself, but rather with some employees at this store location. The individual I dealt with specifically had short pixie brown hair and a huge attitude. (Per the receipt, Educator: 99994000142813) I don't know if this was a discrimination thing or what, but I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal for returning an online order. I'm still a customer? I had bought two sizes of the same item and kept the size the fit me better. It was only three tops and I had adhered to the return policy within a certain time frame. I showed her the return email and barcode from the email, but she got on my case about not having the packing slip with me. What's the point of a return barcode in the emails then? June 2020 As of June 2020 this spot is open! They limit the # of customers in the location. I stopped in to grab a few items to add to my collection but they seemed to be lacking in inventory. I ended up grabbing an array of sizes and styles to try on in the dressing room and the associate that was there helped me narrow down some of my choices and she was super sweet. The items I really wanted they did not have any of my sizes in stock in the store. We also looked online & found a few items but it seems like overall Lululemon hasn't keep up on inventory. I ended up purchasing a few items and made my online purchase at home! Parking: You can get to this spot if you park where the Nordstroms is at. That is the closest parking lot/area! Where its located: This is located on the Second Floor. Once you walk past the Apple store you will see it! Customer service: Customer service was great! However, I did notice that they had let a customer into the store and she had NO mask on and neither did her children. I am not sure of their policies but I was under the impression that most (if not all) retail stores had required the use of masks (June 2020). But I did notice that they were constantly cleaning the registers and had sanitizer for customers and were switching out to wash hands which I thought was awesome. The lady that helped me was super sweet and really helpful. Inventory: This was my first time at this particular location and I was not impressed by the inventory. They were out of a lot of sizes. My 13-year-old daughter was gifted a pair of align leggings a few months ago by her grandparents in Hawaii, and when a hole in her rear end showed up on the leggings we went back to see if they could be fixed or replaced. They flat out denied us through several employees offering us a $10 Gift card. After doing some research I had several people tell me to go to the Irvine spectrum instead where the kind staff gladly replaced her leggings without any question or hesitation. I have been a loyal and faithful Lululemon customer for more years than I care to admit. However, I have NEVER received treatment as I did at this Mission Viejo location as I did earlier this week. I went in to purchase the new purple scuba pants as the website stated they had my size. The site also stated that there were six matching jackets available there. I was about to order it as a pick-up when THANKFULLY I decided to stop by to try the sizes on. The first girl who helped me told me they did not have any jackets but she directed me to where there were hanging available pieces. I picked out two sizes to try on. She said she would look for the matching jackets I had mentioned from the website stating availability at that store. After I decided on the size, I went to see her. She said she was busy at the moment. Imagine, here I thought she was assisting me. I waited, and another salesgirl finally said she would help. She pointed to where I had already looked and told me to check the rack. I inquired about the length of the jacket that matched the color I wanted. She disgustedly said, "The short one." She never smiled and never said a pleasant word. At that point, I decided I would NOT purchase anything from that store again!! I handed her the one pair of pants I was carrying to purchase, and she GRABBED it from me as she displayed her anger. I have shopped at lululemon stores in a number of states, and I have NEVER encountered such rude employees. What is wrong with management at this location?? The guy in the fitting room area, 10/7, was IN THE WRONG. my girlfriend brought in Align pants that were ripped at the seam. He asked 20 questions, like what type of activity she was doing while wearing them? Are you serious????! I could've been doing yoga, I could've been playing in the Super Bowl. Doesn't matter. If I'm paying over $100 for yoga pants and the stitching comes apart, I should be able to give them to a Lulu store for just a quick stitch or send out for repair. Lululemon needs to properly train their employees on "bedside manner" or how to engage with customers. That gentleman at the Mission Viejo Mall made me want to never go to that location ever again. This is somewhat of a difficult review. Lululemon has been near the gold standard for athletic wear and quality essentials. The problem is that they have very poor customer service. What could possibly be wrong? How about placing an online order and they forget to ship it. Yep. Still online they show a fedex number and waiting to ship. After placing a call to their customer service, they failed to ship all ordered items, and also failed to credit for them. Of the items they shipped, a few had to be returned due to size issues (they tend to be inconsistent between lines). Going to the store they argued to claim that our order was paid for with a gift card and would only give store credit....we have never had a lululemon gift card. We showed them the credit card charge with the date and matching amount,and they tried to state that they did not know if this was for their items......with the charge name "Lululemon?" So a manager came out and wasted about an hour screwing around and finally came back with making "a one time exception ...". Seriously....it was paid for by credit card. Are they really this pathetic? Then on top of this they did the same thing for the item they failed to ship...tried to push store credit. Lame. Seems like they are hard up for your money... Now, I don't know about you, but if you are paying lululemon prices, showing the the online order slip and stuck with them at their store to get a pathetic "we'll do a one time exception ", and no effort to apologize yet alone compensate for the frustration, perhaps consider looking at a competitive product. Cashier Jordan was very rude and not friendly. I had a very easy transaction, I received a gift from this store that was too big, tags attached, and I had a gift receipt dated 5 days earlier. Apparently receiving a gift card is not an option and only can be in store exchange for equal or more of the cost. They wouldn't even put the money back on the credit card used, even though I had the receipt. So I found a shirt that was slightly less than the original. Again, they could not give me the difference in a gift card, so I was forced to buy a scrunchie. Again I was $2 away and the answer so was nope, it needs to be equal or spend more. I was with my toddler and never planned to shop during this trip to the store. I begged, I am so close, can you give me the difference back?! She didn't even hand me the $2 gift card, but tucked it in the bag. I understand policies, but none of this makes sense to me. Jordan felt like she enjoyed being difficult. Not a good quality for someone in a customer service role. Very frustrating since I love lululemon and have been a customer there for so long. Edgar the manager is extremely bad at customer service. He has no empathy. He is defensive, and insults customers. I had a conversation on the phone with him, and he did not offer that I bring my pants for him to look at. I called customer service and they said he should have offered that. After I called him back and informed him, he changed his words and said okay bring them in but I wont do anything about it. He is dishonest, insulting and insensitive. It was awkward as to how rude he was. I insisted on bringing my pants, and he called me insulting and said he can refuse service to me altogether... who hired this person? Review is for my shopping experience only, not for the value of the products or the costs (which I think are pretty high and you're paying for a brand, not just the materials). Anyway, I came in this morning (8/8/19 around 10am). Two young women were working and they were both eager to help me. They gave me the right amount of attention (not too much) and helped to guide me to the right product. But also gave me enough space to browse on my own. As a guy in this store, it's a little overwhelming. Lots of choices, lots of women buying skin tight clothes... it's a little much. But the staff was very helpful. My only complaint is really about how the mens pants are organized. It's kind of a mess and not super shopper friendly, but thanks to the staff for doing that grunt work to find me what I was looking for. Probably the most I've ever paid for pants at $130 a pop. Left with 2 pairs. Good shopping experience. Hopefully the product holds up and isn't of low quality. read more

My favorite workout attire by far! Of course it is expensive so I only buy things when I get a gift card for Christmas or my birthday, but it is well worth it! All of the clothing lasts longer than any other brand. I used to get workout leggings that would become saggy after a few months to a year and it was very frustrating. I still wear the first pair of leggings I got from here over 5 years ago! They have not changed in color, elasticity, or shape. I wear them at least once a week to work or to workout. I'm also never worried that they are see-through, because none of them are. I did have an issue with one long sleeve thin shirt getting this weird hole in the shoulder. I took it back and they let me pick something else out for the same price that I bought it for. I've bought pants from here and the hemming is free. So many good things about their clothing. I don't buy from any other workout clothing company anymore! read more

I came into this store the other day happy and excited to spend a gift card that my boyfriend who is overseas had sent me. I have been working out really hard and gotten back on a track to live a healthier lifestyle. This was going to be my little reward for myself. Unfortunately all of those feelings of happiness came to a halt once I dealt with Betty. I was in the dressing room trying on some items and wanted to try on a smaller size pant. I walked out and had asked her to help me grab a smaller size. While I appreciated her tip of them being too see through (hinting that I shouldn't get the smaller size) I did NOT appreciate her telling me (in a humiliating tone) in so many words how I am too fat for a size 4. She continued to try to tell me how she (tall slender woman) is a size 4 and a size 4 is considered an XS, whereas the 6 is a S. This was out in front of the dressing room with other people around shopping, so I was completely embarrassed. I tried to tell her how I fluctuate between both sizes depending on the style of pant, as she huffed off she continued to try to tell me it wouldn't work. I have been shopping with Lululemon for 10 years and have never experienced something like this. In every other store I have been built up by the employees and been told to love my body. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I can't believe you have someone like this working for your store/company. So today I went into Lululemon Mission Viejo. I had on a face shied due to a medical disorder. The young gal told me she would like to give me a complementary surgical mask and that I was not allow to wear my shield. I explained to her I had a medical-disorder and medical card. She told me it does not matter I need to put on the mask and it needs to fully cover my chin and nose. I again told her I had a medical disorder. She did not care at all. This is such a HIPAA violation. Today sprouts market announced NO MORE MASK. But nope not lululemon, even with a medical card.
