We had a wonderful experience at the lululemon store at CF Chinook Centre in Calgary thanks to Erick. My wife and I were visiting from Nevada, United States, and Erick made us feel very welcomed. He was extremely patient, friendly, and professional. He took the time to introduce different summer styles to us and also clearly explained the current promotions. We originally came in because a security tag had not been removed from an item we purchased at a lululemon store in the U.S. That situation was a little frustrating, but Erick completely turned our experience around. Because of his positive attitude, patience, and excellent customer service, we felt comfortable continuing to shop at this location. Erick is a bright, warm, and professional team member. Good employees like him should be recognized and rewarded. Thank you, Erick, for making our visit such a pleasant one. read more

Sister came to see if there are better deals at this location compared to the location at Market Mall. Its all the same deal. Too bad. Well this location is convenient. I mean its inside Chinook mall. So more people inside the mall and this is a much more trendy mall location. Overall, I have to say shopping here is like walking into a crowded discount store. Its not that comfy. Why would they have a discount section near the back middle of the store. Most stores have it at the end. read more

I must admit, I am a Lululemon addict. I love their clothes, and wear them all the time. The quality of the pieces is quite high, and I've had a few things last years! I love that they are always coming out with different styles, colours, cuts, and prints. It keeps it interesting and you are always able to get something you already know you love, in a different colour. My one negative thing is that this location seems to always be out of my size in everything. Numerous times I have gone in and they simply don't have what I am looking for, and I have to drive to another location to find it. I know this is a high traffic store and in one of Calgary's busiest malls, but I feel as if this is something they need to rectify and take into consideration when they are ordering merchandise. read more

lululemon athletica Chinook Centre - New mat and wonderunders. I'm ready for spring! - Sports Wear Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

I won't lie, I am absolutely addicted to lululemon. I practically live in these clothes in the evening and on weekends, and wear lulu for everything from walking, gym, yoga, travel, gardening or just being a general lazy bum. Their products are pricey but well-made (with a brief brainfart where they made see-thru pants) and last for years. Plus they come out with new colours and prints almost daily, so it is tough to not have the latest style. My points for improvement are that I wish they still carried larger sizes - they used to go up to 14. Then it seemed like they went public and everything is targeted towards skinny minnies. I have a chest, and don't really like the girls bouncing in my face while I work out, nor do I want my cleavage exposed when I'm in Warrior pose. I've found a few good tanks that provided full coverage, but it seems they've discontinued that style (had a higher neck and open back). I am usually able to find tops and bras that still provide support and coverage, but the majority of their tops seem to be geared towards those with an A-Cup. read more

Ah lulu lemon, the one brand the has it's own section in my closet, as I owe a ton of it. That being said, I do find the prices outrageous, but majority of the stuff I have bought, has been a collection from over the years, and I still have every piece I own. Sorry I threw out one...ex-bf shrunk it. Anywho though, I do have to say in recent times, the quality doesn't seem as good, the materials aren't as thick and their stuff pills super easy. The reason I was at this lulu was actually for a return. I had been at the Market mall location, just grabbed a top and tried it on at home, which looked terrible and for $60 just seemed like crap. I'm sure I will continue to buy select pieces, as their stuff fits me nice, but I'm definitely not impressed with having to pay an arm and a leg for poor quality, I hope they get their stuff together and start making the good lulu again. read more

Hate to say it but Lulu has really caught on. Everyone has some now. One lady was sure to mention as loudly as she could how she had 20 pairs of such and such. What a zoo. It's a little unfortunate that it is known more for being trendy than for making good workout attire. Hopefully we won't see the quality plummet as they race to supply the demands. I also have to comment that there were a disturbing number of: 1) People wearing lulu clothes at the mall. 2) People who looked like the didn't work out making purchases. 3) Young girls making purchases. We stopped in to add to our own gym collection. The store is large with all of the standard options plus a few that I have not noticed before. Just get there early or late to miss the crowds. Wow. Working to keep sexy healthy and fit! read more

I've shopped at this location a few times and I have never had an issue. The staff are always polite, energetic and willing to help with whatever you're trying to find whether it's for yourself or a gift. I was greeted upon entering the store and helped shortly thereafter. The gentleman that helped me out advised me of the recent product changes and how the sizes may have changed for myself as they had changed for him. I would highly recommend anyone looking for lululemon products to visit the chinook mall location. read more

Will never go here again which is a shame as i have been shopping at lululemon for years. I had recently bought 2 pairs of their align legging. both began to pill right away and one pair even had a hole in the leg after 2 wears. Had had them for about a month, so i decided to take them here to exchange them. The woman at the front was not understanding at all, and rude. They told me the leggings i purchased were only for yoga and very light wearing, as they are very delicate. They told me these leggings were not meant for working out in, this was ridiculous to me as lululemon is an athletic brand. She refused to exchange them, regardless of how recently I had purchased them. Waste of $200. I am extremely upset about this read more

I own a lot of Lululemon apparels and I must say this specific location and Market Mall have good management and great staff. Everyone is friendly and quick to resolve any issues. I've had two defective products within a month so I brought them in and showed it to the staff. They simply just replaced it without hesitation and didn't make me explain what happen. Good job. From my personal experience, the Downtown and South Center store are not so great. read more

Wandering around Chinook Mall tonight, I thought I would stop in and take a look for some yoga pants. I should preface by saying I'm a plus sized girl, I got a big booty but am active. I guess I don't fit the "usual" (size 12 and below) shopper because I was totally ignored by every employee there. I understand it's a busy location, but when the one gentleman makes a point of greeting everyone coming in behind me; kind of makes a point. As well, he told everyone leaving to have a nice night and I got zip. Clothes are nice; little expensive but I guess quality and demand raises the prices. Besides the rather unwelcome feeling I got, it's a clean, busy store. read more

Had such a remarkable experience I had to Yelp about it. We were shopping with my boyfriend's parents visiting Calgary from Vancouver. We had all just grabbed Starbucks and drove a ways to do a bit of shopping before we headed back. I went to help his dad find his mom in the backpack section of the store but my coffee was still so hot and I was looking at something on the opposite side so instead of carrying it with me to show him where she was I placed it up on a shelf and brought him to where they were. When I came back my coffee was gone I guess someone thought it was garbage so when I asked Tanner to help me check he looked in the back and asked all the workers but the coffee was nowhere to be found. Tanner took it upon himself to actually take $5 out of the till and apologized that it happened! I was stunned and pleasantly surprised. Tanner made our whole day just because of his thoughtfulness, very impressive. Namaste Tanner! read more

This store is always seems to be a nightmare to go into. The staff are always friendly but the clientele just seems to turn me off. I've purchased a couple of jackets here in the past and I've been looking for another but for the last few months nothing lives up to my expectations. This is mostly because anything lighter than a heavy outdoor jacket has a hood on it. I'd like to have a sweater when warming up at the gym or out for a run on a warm winter day, but I don't want a hood flopping around on the back of my neck. Maybe spring will bring a design change. read more

Lulu Loyal - This Chinook location lives up to the standards of its fellow Lulus. Always buzzing with customers and full of clothing and gear. If you can brave the Macleod Trail quagmire and the equally daunting gridlock maze of parking, check it out. read more

I typically only come to Lululemon to check out the clearance rack. I found a pair of basic black leggings on sale for $68 dollars and a woman, roughly in her mid-forties felt it would be appropriate to try and grab them from me because "she saw them first from across the store". Once she figured it out that I wasn't giving them up she resorted to name calling, while her teenage daughter looked on. Classy. I can't really blame the company, or the employees on belligerent shoppers though. I can blame the staff on their inability to be welcoming or friendly though. The Chinook location is the only location in Calgary that I've been to where the staff are negligent and unhelpful. I'm not the kind of shopper that will go out of my way to shop at a store just so a sales clerk can pretend to be nice to me, but if if means avoiding rabid middle-aged women and pretentious employees I will gladly shop online. read more

I, like most of Canada, was a huge lulu fan a while back, but now that other yoga/athletic clothing companies have stepped up their game (good quality but not a retarded expensive as lulu) I really have cut down my lulu lemon spending. Having not been in a while, my husband needed new shorts so I stopped by today. The chinook location has recently been renovated. Not a major change from before. I found a pair of shorts and a cute scarf for me! I'm waiting in line, just me in line, 2 tills open both helping people. One till opens and I wait for her to acknowledge me...nothing. She continues to ignore me and starts putting security tags on clothes. Call me a stickler for customer service but what the heck?? I think we all know customer service in this city has taken a dive but whatever happened to simple consideration?? "I'll be right with you" etc. but she just ignores me. I stand there with about $200 in merchandise and realize lulu lemon does not deserve my money. I put the items down and left. All because of ignorance and sub par customer service. You'd think in an economic down turn we are in, they would be upping their game, obviously not. I'll buy under armor or Fabletics instead...cheaper and just as good. read more
