My birthday was coming up and seemed like the perfect opportunity for this idea, so I contacted Feels Like Home Farm to set up a private "snuggle session" for six people. I expected to meet the baby goats, pet some alpacas, and be on our way, but the experience was so much more than that! Marcus (one of the owners) gave our group a full tour of the farm and told us so many interesting things about the animals there. Marcus is a great tour guide and really made the experience for us (and has great travel tips). We all walked away knowing a lot more about the animals on the farm and what taking care of them entails. While I was there, I didn't think about law school once! We all had plenty of opportunities to hold the baby goats, which were even more adorable than I imagined they would be. We also fed the alpacas and met a lot of other animals (adult goats, guard dogs, guard geese, and various cats). If you love animals but cannot have your own farm, or if you are up for a unique experience in the Cleveland area, I highly suggest booking a tour and snuggle session at Feels Like Home Farms! I will be back for goat yoga :)

I'm a huge adventure junkie and....this goat yoga party was one of my favorite adventures to date....This farm is literally a utopia... Feels Like Home Farm is AMAZING for: a) Private Parties - Reasonably priced and SO MUCH FREAKING FUN! Also so unique - you're never going to have another party like this! b) Goat Yoga Events - they run community yoga classes on a somewhat-regular basis throughout the year (schedule is on the farm's website!) and they're a great way to get out and try something new with friends. Their instructor, Deanna Black, is an excellent teacher and make the class very unique. I've been doing yoga for years and I'm kind-of a yoga snob....and I freaking love Deanna. Great way to support a local farm! If I could give Alissa (and her family), Deanna, the farm, the goats, the class, and the entire experience 1,000,000,000 stars, I would. I'll call out a couple things, although the list of positives is far too long to write: 1) The farm: Is STUNNING. LOTS of land and very peaceful. They have ~50 goats, primarily 4 different breeds. All are happy, healthy, ADORABLE, and super friendly. They also have 2 awesome dogs, a CUTE LITTLE PIG named Dottie (omg!), and happy ducks waddling around. Their neighbors let us meet their CRAZY-COOL mini donkeys, cows, and pigs! I honestly never wanted to leave. Alissa and her husband took us on a tour of the farm and taught us all about their animals!! It was AWESOME! 2) The people: Alissa, her husband, and her daughters were unbelievably passionate about what they do at the farm, loving towards their animals, and so excited to share their farm with us. Alissa was INCREDIBLY responsive to all of my requests, and personalized literally EVERY little thing about the party. She was very creative, and thought of ideas I NEVER would have (like bringing in a local food truck!). I interact with a lot of business owners through Yelp, and Alissa has been by far the most fun and passionate one yet. 3) The Yoga: If you want a good workout, Deanna's class is great. She is also EXCELLENT at leading guided meditations. I was so relaxed and present by the end of class. Deanna is also AWESOME at incorporating acro-yoga into her classes. We did some CRAZY moves I've never done before (see my pictures!) 4) Convenient location - The farm is only about 25 - 30 minutes from Ohio City and an easy drive. We had no issues with parking at all. HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for making this such an unbelievably unique experience that none of us will forget!

New to yoga? You are welcome here. Experienced yogi warrior? You are welcome here. This studio is…read moreby far my favorite yoga studio. I have visited multiple yoga studios and my heart always leads me back here. This place is like home to me. The moment you walk in, you will feel comfortable and welcome. I started practicing here a couple years ago when they first opened. I was fairly new to yoga, especially Baptiste yoga. The instructors are absolutely amazing here. So personable and you know they love what they do. That energy rubs off on you as well. Rachel and Kat are my favorite instructors. They are fabulous teachers who always push you to your "edge". They believe in you in times that you don't believe in yourself. Very motivating and always willing to assist or correct your form. Kelsey and Halley are also great teachers. They have added new teachers but I have not attended their classes yet. This is the first and only studio where the instructors really get to know you and welcome you back by name when you come back. This studio is a hot studio. Heat not your thing? There are classes that do not have heat. I believe the Slow Flow classes do not have heat which are usually held in the morning. There are beginner/basic classes and advanced yoga classes. The Power Yoga classes get pretty intense but you can modify the poses to your capability. The instructors will assist with that. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower. Towels are included. There are hair ties and bobby pins available for use and Lotions/sprays. There are cubby holes and coat racks to put your belongings in. Before you enter the yoga room, there are straps/blocks available and towels (be sure to grab one for a hot yoga class, you will sweat!). I love their yoga room. Huge room with high ceilings. It is a little harder to get the room hot but you will be moving so it will come quickly. I like the room because I feel like I have my own space. I love my space. I don't like to feel as if Im stacked on top of the person next to me. I have room to stretch out and flow freely. During savasana at the end of your flow, they offer a cold towel with essential oils/fragrance which is a very nice touch at the end of an intense hot class. I love the yoga flow sequences that the instructors give. They all hit the main poses and will push you to your edge to attempt other poses/inversions that you may not be familiar with. Just practice. Practice practice practice. You can do it! It took me forever to do a headstand, still working on a handstand. It just takes a lot of body strength, especially that core! Work the abs! I need to work on my shoulder strength. I have so much more flexibility now. I shocked my own self. Enough about me. Classes are held 7 days a week except some holidays. Classes start at 6 am till 7 or 8 at night (except Sundays). Their are workshops and fun events offered for an additional price. There are different class packages for purchase that best fit your schedule or just buy a drop-in class. If you are a new student, they offer special deals for you. 20$ for one week unlimited or one month unlimited for 59$. Cleveland Yoga is a local franchise but I absolutely love this location. Its closer to home and I love feeling so welcome every time I come here. I strongly urge you to check it out. New or experienced yogis I have no doubt you will love it as much as I do. Love you Cleveland Yoga Concord!!

Vivian, the owner is as authentic as you can be, she will be the beautiful soul greeting you. My absolute favorite part of Pure Bliss is that Vishali teaches there. Vishali is an elegant and competent yoga educator. Each pose she leads you into has a purpose, and she makes sure to connect poses to movements and breathe. Each of Vishali's classes has taught me something new, and I heartily endorse her instruction to anyone looking for a spiritual yoga experience. Vishali guides you through poses safely and patiently in her classes. She is someone I would suggest to anyone looking to learn more about yoga and where it comes from. Vishali is a unique kind of teacher, she has been doing yoga since she was a child in India. I can't stress enough how highly I think of her for anyone, any age, whether they're recovering from an injury or have yoga experience, everyone feels better after Vishali's class.

I wasn't expecting to like yoga this much. I've taken yoga classes before at various rec centers,…read morebut this is different. This is a real workout. I love the Strong-Basics classes. The instructors do a great job talking you through the poses, which is helpful if you don't know what you're doing. YogaStrong also offers beginner classes which help explain what's going on in the Strong classes so you can do the poses correctly. The Strong yoga is a great workout because it consists of a mix of planks, lunges, yoga poses, and stretching. The heated studio is amazing too! I love sweating off the calories and I look forward to going into the studio on cold days. What I like about YogaStrong is the huge variety which ensures that the classes are never boring. Not only are there a variety of classes offered (Strong, Strong-Basics, Yin, Slow Flow Meditation, Beginner, etc...), the classes themselves are varied due to different instructor styles. I've taken the Strong-Basics classes several times and each instructor runs it differently. The other great thing is the availability of classes. Classes start at 5:30 AM and run until 9:15 PM so you can always find SOMETHING. In the last three weeks of attending, I've lost a few pounds and gained strength and flexibility. This studio is a bit pricey, but they give discounts for veterans and students. I'm taking college classes, so that's nice. I bought the monthly-student-unlimited plan (you have to show a bill or course schedule as proof. They don't look at student ID cards). If I attend at least 6 times per month, it's worth it financially. I've been attending 4 to 5 times per week! So basically my classes are turning out to be around 4 bucks a class. If you buy the monthly plan, really take advantage of it to make it worth the money. This is a lifestyle change for me. Really. I wasn't expecting to love Yoga, but now that I'm doing it the RIGHT way and the REAL way, I'm in love. I'm excited about the future. I can't wait to see where my strength and flexibility will be at this time next year! I have rheumatoid arthritis, so to have discovered a way to feel strong and in more control of my body has been emotionally uplifting and empowering. I'm more positive about my disease and what the future holds for my body. I CAN DO THIS. Thank you Yoga Strong!!!
