I had been going to Yoga Roots for 7-8 years and often purchased annual passes. This past year, I…read moresustained an injury and was unable to attend yoga. I contacted Yoga Roots to ask for a partial refund or some other negotiated solution to this problem, and I included a letter from my doctor. It was also under the recommendation by my physical therapist that I avoid yoga. I needed to contact them a few times to get a response. They finally suggested that I wait until I was recovered and they could extend my pass. However, when I contacted them a while later about this, they--once again--did not respond. One would think that since I had been going to the studio for 7-8 years, that they would be more interested in resolving this issue, but it became obvious they were not. If you are considering them as your yoga studio, you may want to ask them what their policy is for unforeseen accidents and medical issues. You may also want to reflect on the ethics of a business you choose to support. Yoga Roots has some wonderful teachers, but because of my recent experience, I could never recommend them.

I would recommended trying it out if you like variety with your fitness routine. When we did our classes the room was packed so not everyone was able to get the weights they wanted. I would think regular classes would not be as packed, but maybe purchasing more weights would be helpful. I will say the back room with all of the accessories did smell wonderful. Giving a low rating though because I discussed with staff in person how I would take another class if they joined Class Pass, but that I was not interested in a membership as this was not something I wanted to do regularly. However, I have received 6 calls since asking me about getting a membership. This is excessive. If someone wanted to join they would contact you. No need to keep calling. Definitely soured my opinion of this business.

We located daybreak in downtown Bedford and they had a great Groupon deal! Surprise surprise! When we arrived I found out the owner and teacher was my high school librarian dawn rivers.. after my first class I was hooked! I'm not someone who is incredibly flexible and have always had issues with my hips and legs. Daybreak has been a savior for me. Every week the classes have been something to look forward too. From the warm environment, wonderful teachers and the bond I've built with the other students, I will be a yogi for life!! It has an almost "brighter" feel with this name, and I love it! Sunaya is located in Rocky River right on the border of Lakewood and Rocky River. It's pretty easily accessible off the main drag off Clifton, so you can get there without too much trouble. Its located inside a strip mall with ample free parking in a shared private lot. I hadn't attended a class here since pre-pandemic but it was still a solid experience. I attended Monique's slow flow class. Upon arrival, she had all the supportive props set up at every spot, which was so nice! I appreciated that these were set-up already, as it allowed for everyone to be spaced out appropriately during the pandemic (if you're a yogi, you know sometimes people do not respect space when a lot of people sign-up for a class). However, these classes are small by design, which automatically helps. Happy to be back at the new Sunaya Studios!

I moved to Austin, TX in December and called to cancel my membership, after attempting to cancel online and being unable to find that option. It went to voicemail and I left a message. I never heard back from them, and ended up getting charged again in January. I called again and emailed requesting the charge be removed. Again, no response. I got charged AGAIN in February. I emailed again providing the past details and requesting the January and February charges be removed. Still no response when low and behold, I WAS CHARGED IN MARCH. Once in January is one thing. I get it, your busy, it happens in February, that stinks and a I'm a little put out. But there is no excuse now. I have been charged over and over, all the while attempting to follow up directly with the business. I attempted to be proactive and cancel prior to being charged at all to avoid this whole mess, to no avail. Now I am stuck with all the work of disputing these charges with my bank.

I had the best Savasana in recent memory here: Joanie rubs scented oil on every practioner's temples to encourage full relaxation.
