Also, their memberships are way higher than any other studio. They have fancy lighting and the studio is clean. Also, the yoga teacher I had was a little robotic for my taste.

I had no idea when I blindly signed up so it was a surprise working out in that heavy hot atmosphere. The classes were hard, but made you feel good afterwards. Again, great instructor. I would recommended trying it out if you like variety with your fitness routine. When we did our classes the room was packed so not everyone was able to get the weights they wanted. I would think regular classes would not be as packed, but maybe purchasing more weights would be helpful. I will say the back room with all of the accessories did smell wonderful. Giving a low rating though because I discussed with staff in person how I would take another class if they joined Class Pass, but that I was not interested in a membership as this was not something I wanted to do regularly. However, I have received 6 calls since asking me about getting a membership. This is excessive. If someone wanted to join they would contact you. No need to keep calling. Definitely soured my opinion of this business.

River Yoga is now called Sunaya Studios. Same location, same people, same vibe, just a new name. I…read morelike the new name quite a bit. It has an almost "brighter" feel with this name, and I love it! Sunaya is located in Rocky River right on the border of Lakewood and Rocky River. It's pretty easily accessible off the main drag off Clifton, so you can get there without too much trouble. Its located inside a strip mall with ample free parking in a shared private lot. I hadn't attended a class here since pre-pandemic but it was still a solid experience. I attended Monique's slow flow class. Upon arrival, she had all the supportive props set up at every spot, which was so nice! I appreciated that these were set-up already, as it allowed for everyone to be spaced out appropriately during the pandemic (if you're a yogi, you know sometimes people do not respect space when a lot of people sign-up for a class). However, these classes are small by design, which automatically helps. Happy to be back at the new Sunaya Studios!

I'm so grateful to dawn and her team of teachers for opening me up to such a wonderful experience. Her motto is ANYONE can do yoga! And it's so true. It's easy to locate off such a main drag. If you're not from the area, be prepared to give yourself extra time for parking. There is no dedicated parking lot, but rather free street parking on surrounding blocks. It's worth it to arrive early just for peace of mind you can find a spot and not be rushed while parallel parking. I wouldn't recommend it as a spot to super last minute book a class. I've attended a few yoga classes and had a wonderful experience. I continuously meet inviting and engaging teachers that actually understand the type of yoga they're teaching. The class sizes are intentionally small and extremely low-pressure. That type of environment alone is enough to make me want to return. Its genuinely a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that meets you where you're at. As someone with physical limitations, I always feel comfortable here and never feel pressured to be something I'm not.

BOOKING CLASSES -- Use their website. I had a ClassPass membership back then so I used my ClassPass credits to book the Reformer class. As of the writing of this review, in July 2026, BeFitness is no longer on ClassPass so guests will need to buy a single class package or a membership directly from BeFitness. A friend told me that they got rid of their Class Pass contract a while ago now. (Side-note: ClassPass is an app that allows members to book classes at different fitness studios and have the option to also access gyms and spas across various cities). REFORMER CLASS -- Anyone that has done a Reformer class knows that it is challenging, especially at 5am. The instructor was good because she provided understandable cues of what to do for each move/exercise. The instructor was enthusiastic as well. Having now taken other Reformer Pilates classes at a different Pilates studio in Avon and Bay Village, I definitely do not think the Reformer Pilates class at Be Fitness was as hard as the others that I've taken elsewhere. Nonetheless, I still recommend BeFitness if you live in the area and are looking for a beginner and intermediate friendly class. The Reformer Pilates class that I took at a different studio was a more advanced class. TIP (Reformer Pilates) -- The good thing about Reformer Pilates is that you can always adjust the resistance straps to increase or decrease the amount of resistance (weight) that you are pulling. SERVICE -- I remember the check-in process being smooth when I entered and the front desk woman greeted me (she was also the instructor). Overall, I enjoyed the Reformer Pilates class. Similar to many fitness studios, they sometimes have deals/sales so join their email list or visit them on social media to stay informed with current discounts. I joined the Cleveland area YMCA a month after visiting BeFitness so I most likely won't be back to BeFitness since the YMCA offers a ton of fitness classes in addition to a full gym, pool, sauna, etc. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 151/250 total reviews in 2026 - 992 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 July 2026
