Anne and her entire staff are terrific. Since I started at One Love nearly three years ago, I have made measurable progress that has dramatically improved my quality of life, balance, flexibility, and overall well-being. It has also given me a wonderful place to unplug, decompress, and focus on my health now that I am retired. One Love is, above all, a welcoming community of health- and peace-seeking adults, ranging from college-age students to septuagenarians like me. In short, the staff and students work together to create a space that maximizes comfort, safety, and a sense of welcome, belonging, and well-being. While some students chat and socialize gently before and after class, others prefer to remain quiet and inwardly focused. Importantly, all genders and races are welcome because One Love fosters a truly inclusive environment for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, all of whom are united by the collective goal of inner peace and physical health. Without boring anyone with the details of my orthopedic and BPPV/balance issues--except to say that I am a 90% disabled veteran who now uses yoga as my ongoing physical therapy--I want Anne, her staff, and the public to know that One Love Yoga & Pilates has been an absolute godsend for me. The classes--which are very reasonably priced--have helped me remain active, independent, and optimistic in ways that I could not have imagined a few years ago. I moved to Austin, TX in December and called to cancel my membership, after attempting to cancel online and being unable to find that option. It went to voicemail and I left a message. I never heard back from them, and ended up getting charged again in January. I called again and emailed requesting the charge be removed. Again, no response. I got charged AGAIN in February. I emailed again providing the past details and requesting the January and February charges be removed. Still no response when low and behold, I WAS CHARGED IN MARCH. Once in January is one thing. I get it, your busy, it happens in February, that stinks and a I'm a little put out. But there is no excuse now. I have been charged over and over, all the while attempting to follow up directly with the business. I attempted to be proactive and cancel prior to being charged at all to avoid this whole mess, to no avail. Now I am stuck with all the work of disputing these charges with my bank.

Price wise, this will be more expensive for students as only the first drop in is $6 and it will be $14 beyond that. I am here for their student guest weeks, and I have taken their cycling and yoga classes before. Having a location on the northside of campus does work well with accessibility, and I like that they are having this studio have more variety as well, including hot yoga, yoga, barre, boxing, and cycling classes. The structure is not too different from 121, and their amenities are nice for taking a shower before heading to work or class with complimentary towelettes and free towels/shampoo/lotion to use.

I would think regular classes would not be as packed, but maybe purchasing more weights would be helpful. I will say the back room with all of the accessories did smell wonderful. Giving a low rating though because I discussed with staff in person how I would take another class if they joined Class Pass, but that I was not interested in a membership as this was not something I wanted to do regularly. However, I have received 6 calls since asking me about getting a membership. This is excessive. If someone wanted to join they would contact you. No need to keep calling. We located daybreak in downtown Bedford and they had a great Groupon deal! Surprise surprise! When we arrived I found out the owner and teacher was my high school librarian dawn rivers.. after my first class I was hooked! I'm not someone who is incredibly flexible and have always had issues with my hips and legs. Daybreak has been a savior for me. Every week the classes have been something to look forward too. From the warm environment, wonderful teachers and the bond I've built with the other students, I will be a yogi for life!! I'm so grateful to dawn and her team of teachers for opening me up to such a wonderful experience. Her motto is ANYONE can do yoga! And it's so true.
