First visit to the Restorative class with Janet! She was wonderful, super instructive with a calming energy. The inside was clean and classes were full! As someone who has done athletics for years, the restorative class consisted of 6 poses and I was able to reach a deep relaxation. I was hoping for a little more moving but i appreciated the deep stretching with guidance. Working around this area it would be convenient to revisit. I loved the inside with a little clothing boutique and super fun and yoga style decor. The Aesthetic was great and the vibes were positive! I loved the bright lighting and neon signs. The smoothie bar looked delicious, I wish it stayed open after our class let out at 12pm on Sunday. I look forward to returning to a flow class in the future and trying a smoothie too!

The instructors…read moreare so inspiring and really motivate you to do your best in class - you get such a great workout in only 50 minutes. It really is a total body workout that has small impact on your joints (bad knees? no problem - you can alter your movement so it doesn't agitate that area), and it is open to ALL age levels (seriously, everyone from high school students to snowbirds come to classes). I love how many different ways there are to get involved in it too - from holiday parties to "bring on the men" classes to pure barre bingo. You come for the workout, and you stay for the community. It really is one big family there, and everyone is always celebrating the other's victories (like becoming a part of the 100 Tuck Club, 250 Tuck Club, etc.). And congrats to Tiffany and Meredith for opening the studio 5+ years ago - it isn't easy to run a small business, and they manage it with ease.

I think many are intimidated because they think it is dance related when in reality anyone can do it. The staff is amazing and always willing to help you thru the workout with encouragement and support. I have been coming here for over three years and it has totally changed my body. The staff here is amazing and always encouraging. Do it!

Today was my first day working out at the gym during this whole COVID time, so this review only…read morepertains to my experience today though I have been coming here for years. I saw on Facebook that they opened back up and did remodeling, so I was thrilled to get back to the gym! The whole interior has been freshly painted and re-carpeted, giving it a more updated look. Before my sister and I walked in the door, they took our temperature. I recommend wearing a mask when you walk in for curtesy and safety. Once it was all fine, we walked up to the check in desk. You scan your own ownership card on the reader instead of handing it to them like before. I personally feel like they should keep this up! Less spread of germs! You are still able to get a locker in the locker room, you just put the key in a basket once you're done so they can disinfect. The hot tub in the locker room was closed, as was they outdoor pool. They indoor community pools are open though! All of the equipment was separated 6-feet apart, which I appreciated! They turned all the workout rooms into rooms with extra equipment Incase you want privacy. The workout rooms require a mask on at all times. The "open gym" only requires masks on at designated time. So I was there from 12:30-2 and you didn't need to wear a mask during that time. However, 2pm started a mask-required hour. Guess it's just your preference as to which time to come! You are required to wipe down equipment after using it, and employees will say something if you don't. They do have a designated employee going around constantly wiping off equipment also! I was VERY impressed with how they're handling this pandemic, and I look forward to going back & continuing to support this business!

If "membership" is not there at all during a weekday, then when is it? And I should have been told that before I made the hour and 10 minute round trip there. This place is only interested in ripping off people as other comments have pointed out. They are "abusive" and "disgusting" --and willing to shame themselves for just $10. As other comments confirm: do not give them your credit card as they will continue to use it fraudulently.

I wanted to wait to write my review after having taken a months worth of classes. I am happy to say…read morethat my opinions of the studio have only improved because my experiences this past month solidified the positive first impression I had on the day I walked in after seeing a sign posted outside. I have taken a range of the beginner classes, including gentle yoga, intro to yoga, yoga basics, and the amazing restorative classes, which are offered several times a week. I could write pages about how much I love this place, but I will try to keep this brief. First of all, the studio is a warm, cozy, inviting environment, and I always immediately become more relaxed by just walking in. The front area has tons of yogi apparel and accessories for sale, and I love the convenience of that. Both of the practice rooms are tastefully, yet simply decorated and the dimmed lights and candles give the rooms a vibe or relaxation and quiet focus. I have taken classes with Melissa and Tricia and I hope to get around to taking classes with the other talented instructors at the studio. The real star, however, is Debbie. As the Brian mentioned, Debbie is one of the warmest, most friendly, genuine people I have met and she welcomed me with such kindness to the area and to the studio on the day that I happened to walk in. She truly cares about each and every person who walks into the studio and she takes her time to make sure you are properly aligned and doing each move correctly when you take her classes. She makes you feel comfortable with trying new things, but she is respectful of personal limitations and varying levels of expertise within any given class. I always leave Lifesource with a renewed sense of calm and relaxation and I am excited to make this place a part of my life here in Akron. I will certainly be extending my membership.

Excellent studio, though the soft-ish flooring is kind of odd. Also have never been in a studio…read morewhere it seemed acceptable for people to come in a few minutes late for a session. But they have great instructors, ample props including very nice bolsters, a clean restroom big enough to change in, and ample parking too. Definitely will be back -- not taking points off for the floor since that's a very personal viewpoint, and not taking points off for the staff letting people come in late since it's a little annoying but not worth complaining too loudly about (forgive yourself and others, right?). (Also would be good for them to have an electronic sign-in process when arriving, but again, these are all very minor complaints and I will absolutely return here. Stacy in particular was an excellent instructor. My only other suggestion would be for them to incorporate more pranayama and mindfulness meditation (for example, I like when instructors advise setting an intention at the beginning of the session, or positive affirmations, or speaking about the value of letting go... all would make nice additions to their classes, unless you prefer more functional and less spiritual/thoughtful yoga practice).
