I wasn't expecting to like yoga this much. I've taken yoga classes before at various rec centers, but this is different. This is a real workout. I love the Strong-Basics classes. The instructors do a great job talking you through the poses, which is helpful if you don't know what you're doing. YogaStrong also offers beginner classes which help explain what's going on in the Strong classes so you can do the poses correctly. The Strong yoga is a great workout because it consists of a mix of planks, lunges, yoga poses, and stretching. The heated studio is amazing too! I love sweating off the calories and I look forward to going into the studio on cold days. What I like about YogaStrong is the huge variety which ensures that the classes are never boring. Not only are there a variety of classes offered (Strong, Strong-Basics, Yin, Slow Flow Meditation, Beginner, etc...), the classes themselves are varied due to different instructor styles. I've taken the Strong-Basics classes several times and each instructor runs it differently. The other great thing is the availability of classes. Classes start at 5:30 AM and run until 9:15 PM so you can always find SOMETHING. In the last three weeks of attending, I've lost a few pounds and gained strength and flexibility. This studio is a bit pricey, but they give discounts for veterans and students. I'm taking college classes, so that's nice. I bought the monthly-student-unlimited plan (you have to show a bill or course schedule as proof. They don't look at student ID cards). If I attend at least 6 times per month, it's worth it financially. I've been attending 4 to 5 times per week! So basically my classes are turning out to be around 4 bucks a class. If you buy the monthly plan, really take advantage of it to make it worth the money. This is a lifestyle change for me. Really. I wasn't expecting to love Yoga, but now that I'm doing it the RIGHT way and the REAL way, I'm in love. I'm excited about the future. I can't wait to see where my strength and flexibility will be at this time next year! I have rheumatoid arthritis, so to have discovered a way to feel strong and in more control of my body has been emotionally uplifting and empowering. I began taking yoga classes at Yoga Strong shortly after they opened. I have found the classes to be consistently challenging (with the ability to modify if needed), refreshing and fulfilling. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging. I love the fact that classes are offered at various times throughout the week, and there are many to choose from on the weekend as well. Recently, I began taking Barre classes and have really enjoyed them! It is an amazing workout and so fun too! The money that I spend on purchasing packages is well worth it. I highly recommend Yoga Strong to anyone looking to begin their yoga journey or for those looking to take their practice to the next level. Comparing this studio & class to others I have taken at home in the Harrisburg PA area, I would say the class & studio were average. The price was on-par with what I was paying back home, but seemed a tad expensive compared to other yoga studios in the area. However, I'm sure this is because they are the only heated studio in the Canton OH area and therefore do not need to have competitive prices. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and knew what they were doing. Although this is a matter of preference, it is worth mentioning that they play music during class. While it wouldn't have been an issue if it was relaxing instrumental music, it ended up being radio pop music & at times got fairly loud, which only distracted me from my posture and breathing. read more

Nice space, friendly people, ample parking. I went here for a workshop with one of my favorite yogis. Everything was well organized, ran everything in a timely manner. The only thing I didn't like was the actual layout of the room, it's long and narrow and quite claustrophobic but really nothing they can do about that. read more

I love the barre classes. I've done a lot of different workouts, but barre is the only one that leaves me feeling strong but not sore afterward. The best of the best yoga and Barre studio. This studio has it all. A wonderful variety of yoga classes. Super sculpting Barre classes. All the instructors are so knowledgeable and approachable. Amanda Fulmer, the owner, keeps it fresh with new class offerings every month. You get it all at this studio. I especially like that it is not like all those big box studios where you are just a number on a key fob. I love Yoga Strong Studio and highly recommend that you give it a try. Yoga Strong is great. I had never done yoga prior to coming to a class at Yoga Strong, but the instructors are great and encourage you to try new things. I have so much more energy since starting these classes. There are multiple times offered to fit any schedule and multiple skill levels. I was invited to a community class by a close friend and was blown away. I have practiced yoga on and off at various studios but felll in love with Yoga Strong! They allow each student to find their own practice and encourage and help everyone from beginner to seasoned yogi. I have had instructors stay after class to help me find a new position and even after just a couple weeks they know who I am and how to help my practice. I also love how the different instructors have varying view points in practice from a more intense athletic to a more spiritual practice. So even if you are not into a spiritual yoga you can find a class for you! read more
