A mini collage of the food and decor!

Understand two things: 1) I was raised on Donut Man donuts (in other words, I so-humbly consider myself a connoisseur) 2) I don't have a sweet tooth. I have about 20. APPARENTLY Spain is less crazy about eating anything too sweet, going out to eat in general, overeating, etc. So I was quite thrilled to find this little Greek gem to satiate my American-sized appetite. Grab a little chocolate donut or jelly-filled one. One covered in powdered sugar or coconut flakes. How about them NUTELLA-filled donuts? Grab about 5 of those. If none of those sound appealing, opt for one of the many options: chocolate/strawberry-filled, glazed, lemon, etc. There's something for everyone. It's very new, modern, and clean in comparison to many of the old and maintained bars and cafes in its historical neighborhood, Gracia. The art and decor changes once in a while, and the man who runs the place is very nice. If you don't speak Spanish or Catalan, just point and nod and pay and it should work as if you do! If you're visiting the city, grab some donuts on your way to Parc Güell and enjoy them with the views of beautiful Barcelona. One of my favorite spots when I lived there!

Blueberry glazed, Oreo filled with hazelnut spread, caramel-filled, chocolate covered. The filled donuts are REALLY filled.

We have stopped by this donut shop on multiple occasions on our way to school in the mornings. The donuts are gourmet and delicious with interesting flavors. There are traditional donuts, filled donuts, and filled donut holes. They're pretty heavy. The shop is very aesthetically pleasing, and it also doubles as a coffee shop. Not the cheapest but so yummy!

This place has doughnuts! I decided to try it because of all of the amazing reviews on Yelp! and found out that it really is pretty great. It's a really small space, even though it doesn't seem like it because of the decorations. The walls are beautiful white linoleum tiles in brick shape. There are two small bars with tall chairs to sit at if you need to sit at a bar, and a communal table. That's it (now you understand how small it is). Like I said before though, you almost don't notice how small it is, because it is incredibly charming, like they've found the middle ground between classy and homey. The AC is not too high, but a little low for super hot summer days. I had a strawberry sprinkles covered donut, and honestly it wasn't very donut tasting, but it was good. You can't really blame a café shop in Barcelona for not having super authentic donuts, I mean it hasn't been popular for that long. The lady who was working when I went in was incredibly nice, and helpful. She didn't mind me asking probably a few too many questions than I should have. For all you studiers, I couldn't find any electrical outlets, but the table is perfect for putting a computer on, on laying work on top of. It also seems really safe in terms of leaving your computer on the table, although to be honest, I would never do that anywhere. The music is not too loud or too quiet, it's just right, and also it's good music in and of itself People who come in here are both people who live in Barcelona, and tourists, which gives it a great ambiance, especially since the pricing charts are in friendly Catalan. All in all, satisfactory place, I approve.

This neighborhood spot for coffee is great! The latte was delicious as was the lemon and poppy doughnut.

While we were in Barcelona rushing to make an appointment I noticed this shop out of the corner of…read moremy eye.. it looked so good that we decided to come back just to try some of their treats and boy they did not disappoint. We tried one of their chocolate desserts, a chocolate chip cookie and a matcha drink. All of them were great.. so great that I ended up buying a pistachio brookie to go. To this day we regret not buying more stuff to bring back home. The service was great and quick. The place was clean and cute to dine in with a few tables! Overall I'd definitely stop by if I'm in Barcelona again!

Had to try a gluten free bakery while in Barcelona of course (one of many). Chok is for chocolate…read morebut they didn't sell any actual chocolates... but there was a rotation of special flavored cinnamon rolls, rookies, brownies, mini cakes, cookies, and cheesecakes. There were a few loaves of bread but mostly there were those sweets and it seems they have those all the time. We got a regular cinnamon roll because the flavored ones didn't have as much of the frosting on it which is the best part, and a pistachio cream rookie... no im not sure what a rookie is but it looked like a Levain cookie (the famous one from NY) as it was a mountain of a dessert. We had both treats heated up... although they weren't actually hot lol. The cinnamon roll was on par with others I've had, maybe even slightly drier but the frosting was amazing and I still enjoyed it a lot. The rookie was quite decadent and the inside was an almost cake texture? Still quite tasty but I think both would've knocked it out of the park if they were actually hot and ooey gooey. Five stars because it wasn't bad but I can't say I'm super impressed. I will be going to other gf bakeries over this one
