They able to get our car in right away, diagnose the problem--a faulty sensor, get the part from another location, fix the issue, and get us back on the road in just over two hours. Instead of waiting in the shop, one of the guys drove us to a local diner so we could have breakfast. Not only was it incredible service, but they only charged us for the part and a half-hour of labor! I almost feel like we were lucky to have the problem in Onalaska so we could receive the excellent service from Dee's Auto Care Specialists.

One, they recommended I have my brake fluid flushed as it was dark in color and could be a problem moving forward. I told them to go ahead and do so, even tho I was surprised with so few miles on my Jeep. Two they sent me a picture with a tire gauge showing I had tread ware in the yellow on one tire, no pic of one they said was in the red and two in the green. They said they could provide me with an estimate right away and replace what would be the (all wheel drive) whole set. That was a red flag to me as I'm a retired semi driver and know 100% my tires were all in great shape, I check them all the time. I told them no, I would take a look at them when I came in to pick my Jeep up. I requested the desk representative come out with their tire depth gauge and walk around the vehicle with me testing each tread on all four tires. NOT ONE TREAD WAS OUT OF THE GREEN. There is no excuse for that BS period! After I returned home I checked over my fluid levels to make sure that at least the rest of the paid (over $200) service was performed correctly, my antifreeze level was about one inch below the MIN LEVEL and the cap was half way loose. Now I'm wondering what was true or not about my brake fluid issue I paid over a hundred dollars to flush? I'm a Senior and was so looking forward to having my vehicles serviced close to home and locally. I will never use them again!!!

Then the front desk staff thought it would be fun to charge us over $1,000.00 to fix the mistake...the mistake that they (Cordell's) made! Upon research, apparently that price is double the price that most shops charge for that repair. Cordell's should be ashamed of this behavior and you should not give this company any of your business. Cordell's, in their response, claim this scenario was the fault of my vehicle. I own two of these model vehicles, same year, that have had dozens of professional oil changes with no issues what so ever. I asked another auto service dept manager about this "common problem". They laughed and said "Its only a problem if the technician doesn't know what they are doing." Cordell's does not know what they are doing and the have no problem screwing customers when it suits their profit motives.

As a single female driving from Chicago to south central Minnesota, my Audi Q7 Run Flat tire lost pressure in the dark due to a puncture and after temporarily using the Audi-provided sealant and air compressor while pulled off on I90, I was able to safely hobble a return to a hotel in Onalaska and get a new tire quickly the next morning at Discount Tire. A couple of years ago, I had my tires changed. They offer to do the wipers as well and I had them changed too. My wipers started hitting down on the edge of my hood towards the windshield. He hit so much when I used them that it started wearing the paint off! The only thing Discount Tire did was look at the wipers. Didn't offer anything else. How about what happened to my hood?! Couple years moving forward, I needed to get my tires changed again. Started with a puncture in my tire. One worker came out and used some scanning thing to check the tread on my tires. Even after it was taken to the shop, NO ONE told me how balled all of my tires were on the inside wall of my tires! Irritating! They were able to get me a certificate for it. I was taken care of my Chan. Pretty nice guy until I spoke with him on the phone when I mentioned the price of my tires. Long story short, he started throwing guilt my way as if I wasn't grateful. Needless to say that ticked me off. I was asking questions, not wanting to "free stuff." I don't tolerate anyone guilting me. It was basically over the fact that no one told me about the tread of my other tires and the Chan telling me that he would see what he could do after talking to his manager. Came back on the phone, and that's when the guilt trip happened. Told me "we already are offering the certs for a couple of your tires, and I offered you to have all of your tires changed at the shop." Then he said, "I think we are already being generous offering the certs, and I did mention to you that you could get all of your tires changed." I'm like yeah, but I'm also not someone that can whip out money left and right as I am a teacher and I don't get paid nowhere near as much as I should and I'm on a budget. Not gonna lie, that pissed me off. When I ordered my tires, someone told me specifically on the phone that they could have my tire overnighted from Rochester and they would call me when they arrived. The next day, most of the day had passed and no one called. I called them. Brett the store manager answered and I told him what was going on. He said," I'm sorry, I'm not sure who told you we could overnight tires, but we aren't able to do that.." I'm literally like...WTF in my head. Communication needs to be a priority. It's like I deal with someone different all of the time. I also felt like Chan passed me off to other people because after I told him I didn't appreciate him guilting me, he doesn't even acknowledge my presence when I step into the shop. Not a friendly hello, nothing. Might as well call me cellophane. After finally getting all of my tires changed several days later when my tires came in, I called back a couple of weeks later to get an alignment. Discount Tire doesn't do appointments and it's first come first serve which I hate! I work out of town and I work all day. It's hard for me to do a first come first serve cause they're always busy or about to close. They also told me it would be over 200+. I called Cordell's and they are able to do my alignment cheaper, like 100 bucks cheaper! Cordell's also offers a shuttle if you need it which is included! Andddddddd they take appointments!!!! Needless to say after all of this, I'm taking my business to Cordell's!! As I do realize people have different experiences, and could be positive, unfortunately mine with Discount Tire was not. They used to be pretty good with customer service, but with me lately they've fallen off. I will however leave this on a positive. The guy that changed my other 3 tires, he really nice. He was a shorter Asian guy, and that's the only way I can describe him. He was very nice and very professional. I appreciate his kindness!
