My usual hair lady (who I love) is located out near Mesa/Tempe and so I needed a cut nearby. I totally understand barber loyalty but just wasn't up for the drive today, especially with these gas prices. I researched the area and found Classic Way Barbershop, and I'm glad I did. Israel is very welcoming and establishes a warm environment upon arrival. I was kinda nervous trying to tell him what I wanted for my hair, even though the cut itself is fairly simple (high fade blended comb over... ish) but Israel took the time to listen and ask questions. All in all, I am happy with my cut and enjoyed the experience. The hot towel shave and massage were nice. The pricing was fair and pretty easy to pay through Venmo. I'll definitely be back.

Luckily we booked with Zulema. Not only is she great at cutting hair, she's also Vegan! We're Vegan and my son felt more at ease knowing that they have something in common. My little guy just wanted a few inches off, and to even out his hair in the front; a drone flew into his hair and unfortunately we had to cut a few pieces to get it out. Parking is plentiful. The vibe is chill, all the barbers there are nice and do amazing work, and the music helps set that tone. My kid wasn't the only one in there, which made us all feel better. Zulema propped him up on a double booster, and put on the coolest Mario Bros cape. She asked what we wanted and began to cut, and carry a great conversation.
