I needed to have both of my lower wisdom teeth removed, and since I had never had any kind of tooth…read moreextraction or surgery before, I was extremely nervous. From the moment I walked into Honest Oral Surgeon, the staff made me feel at ease. They were professional, friendly, and very patient. After taking my X-rays, they carefully explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I also watched a pre-procedure instruction video, which helped me understand what to expect. When I met Dr. Kim, he was professional, clear, and straightforward. He explained my treatment options concisely and also pointed out potential risks related to my other teeth. After discussing everything together, we decided to take a conservative approach -- remove the wisdom teeth first and monitor the other teeth to see if they could recover over time. I really appreciated being involved in the decision-making process. The surgery itself was excellent. It was my first time receiving anesthesia and having teeth extracted, and I can honestly say I felt absolutely no discomfort. Dr. Kim removed both wisdom teeth efficiently and skillfully. (Yes, I could hear the drill and some hammering sounds -- which was a little funny -- but I felt zero pain.) After the procedure, I followed the instructions carefully, took the prescribed medication, and applied ice as recommended. It's now the second day, and I have no pain at all -- not even noticeable swelling. This is actually the longest Yelp review I've ever written, but I truly felt it was deserved. I highly recommend Honest Oral Surgeon and Dr. Kim to anyone who needs oral surgery.

When our 20-year-old daughter was away at college, she was involved in a devastating accident that…read morebroke her jaw. Her jaw was wired shut for weeks, and when it was finally unwired, we learned she would need six teeth extracted and extensive treatment, including bone grafts, sinus lifts, and six dental implants. Dr. Salib came highly recommended, and from the moment we met him, we knew we were in the best of hands. He immediately took charge of our daughter's case and made it a priority to see her as soon as possible. While other doctors recommended keeping her jaw wired shut for a longer period, Dr. Salib was the first to look beyond the injury and see the whole person. He understood the significant physical and emotional toll that remaining in that condition would have on a 20-year-old who had already endured so much. He felt it was not fair to prolong her recovery unnecessarily and, after carefully evaluating her, determined she was ready to move forward with treatment. His compassion, sound judgment, and willingness to advocate for what was best for our daughter made all the difference. Throughout this incredibly difficult journey, Dr. Salib treated our entire family with compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Our daughter needed that level of care, but as her parents, so did we. He patiently explained every procedure, answered every question, and ensured we fully understood each step of the treatment plan. His expertise, confidence, and use of advanced technology gave us tremendous peace of mind. What impressed us even more was how far above and beyond he went. Since our daughter attends college in another state, Dr. Salib personally connected us with a trusted oral surgeon there and worked seamlessly with that doctor and our family dentist to coordinate her care. He also gave our daughter his personal cell phone number and encouraged her to call anytime with questions or concerns. That level of dedication is something you rarely find. Dr. Salib is not only brilliant in his field, but also one of the most caring physicians we have ever met. His staff is equally kind, supportive, and professional, making every visit a positive experience. Our family will be forever grateful for everything Dr. Salib has done for our daughter. Without hesitation, I give him my highest recommendation. If you are looking for an oral surgeon with extraordinary skill, compassion, and integrity, Dr. Salib is simply the best.

Well, this place has changed. And not for the better. When I first started going here, Dr. Watson…read morewas still alive and his only partner was Dr. Niven and they were at the former location. The staff and doctors were amazing. They felt like family. My teeth were cared for and I was cared for. I recommended them to several friends and even took an ex-boyfriend there for a ton of dental work and he said it was great. Fast forward. Dr. Watson passed away. Dr. Niven I guess picked up stakes and went to Scotland or something. New partner and new doctors added. New office was pretty, but I don't go to the dentist for the office interior. The only thing I looked forward to was getting my teeth cleaned by Susan Hardy. She did not force those ultrasonic teeth scrubby tools on me which I know makes the process faster, but it hurts like hell and I would rather chew glass. Then I found out that they let her go!!! I dunno, I guess she wasn't zipping patients through like a burgers on a conveyor belt with the ultrasonic teeth grinder thing. My husband said they pressured him to have the ultrasonic teeth grinder and then tried to upsell him on some stuff which neither of us had ever experienced and he was really surprised and weirded out. Then I got a call from some guy who I didn't know (Cari is the second reason why I went there, she was family) and he was just like, "Oh Susan is not available, you will be getting Ashley." Ummm what? So let me get this straight. You move offices further away. Yay for you for needing to add doctors to the staff, but then you (Niven) also leave and now I have Dr. Skahen, random doctors, and random hygienists who want to treat me like a burger on a conveyor belt and sell me some swag? I swear it felt like a family divorce. I had been going to Watson Niven for over twenty years and my husband nearly twenty years. I requested my records be transferred to a new office and they get me/us. They take their time like Susan used to so that they can ensure our comfort during a process most people hate. I am sorry Dr. Watson up in heaven. We had to go. That was not the practice that you built.

Even with my professional background, I am an anxious dental patient when I'm the one sitting in the chair. What I have always appreciated about Dr. Hsu is his ability to put patients at ease. My extraction and implant placement went smoothly, and the recovery was far easier than I expected, with minimal discomfort. The result was excellent. What impresses me most about Dr. Hsu is not only his surgical skill, but also his genuine care for his patients and his attention to detail. His entire team reflects those same qualities--professional, efficient, and truly committed to providing outstanding care. As a referring dentist, recommending Dr. Hsu to my patients has always been an easy decision. After experiencing his care firsthand, my confidence in him is even greater.
