Our garage construction had unfortunately been pretty stressful, with multiple delays and setbacks that forced us to change our floor installation date several times. Comer & Cross was incredibly patient and accommodating through all of it. Mike, our salesperson, was fantastic from start to finish. He met with me early in the process to go over the project, explain the different pricing tiers, and help me choose the right color and finish for the floor. He was always extremely responsive to my texts and calls and worked with me to find an installation date that fit our constantly changing construction schedule. After dealing with so many headaches during the garage build, working with Mike and the Comer & Cross team was honestly one of the easiest and least stressful parts of the entire project. On installation day, Jeremy and Anthony arrived right at 8:00 a.m. and immediately got to work. They originally told me they expected to finish around 3:00 p.m. Their attention to detail was incredible. They kept an amazingly clean worksite and listened carefully to every request I had. One thing I was particularly concerned about was where the coating meets the exposed wood framing. Jeremy and Anthony created a perfectly clean transition line without getting any coating on the wood whatsoever. These guys are artists! Mike even stopped by during the installation to check on the project and make sure I was happy with everything. I told him I was already beyond pleased with the entire experience. We left the house for a little while to run some errands and came back around 12:15 p.m. To my surprise, Jeremy and Anthony had already finished the ENTIRE garage floor -- almost three hours earlier than expected -- and it looked incredible. Before leaving, they went over everything we needed to know about the curing process, including when we could walk on the floor, move heavier items back into the garage, and eventually park our truck on it. The finished floor completely transformed the garage. Literally every time a neighbor walks by and sees it, they comment on how great it looks and ask who installed it. My answer is always the same: Call Mike at Comer & Cross. They'll take care of you. I highly recommend Comer & Cross to anyone considering a polyaspartic coating for a garage, basement, sidewalk, or other concrete surface. In the end, Kyle's team did an amazing job preparing and installing the plywood underlayment, filling in huge gaps in the subfloor, installing the LVP, and making the transition pieces. Last time…read morehe repaired and refinished the wood floors in our old apartment, and this time he removed two layers of old, glued-down flooring from our new condo, cleaned the concrete subfloor, and installed new underlayment and engineered hardwood floors for us throughout the entire home, which was a very large project. He was knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced, had amazing attention to detail, and worked quickly. The whole job (demo to final product) was done in under two weeks, and that included extra time for unforeseen issues, like the concrete subfloor needing to be grinded down and leveled in multiple rooms before floor installation so the planks would lay correctly. Ciprian went above and beyond to make sure the finished product looked amazing and to help us with all aspects of our project. He was kind and professional to our new neighbors and worked within our new building's construction/noise rules, he transported our flooring materials from the store to our new unit and carried them all up the stairs (50 lbs per box, 66 boxes), he finished our master bedroom first so we could move into that space early, and he even returned our leftover boxes of flooring to the store so we could get a refund for the unused products. On top of that, he bought extra matching door trim to fill in the gaps between the top of the new floor and the base of the doorway trim that the previous owners had cut way too high to accommodate the two old layers of flooring. The finished product looks amazing! We are very happy with his work and with the look and installation of our new floors. We highly recommend Ciprian, and we would absolutely work with him again.

Fair price for fair work. We had our red oak floors refinished due to water damage. Adrian from…read moreRovin's flooring came out right away to inspect the damage and provide a quote. We had received multiple quotes from other companies but we liked Adrian's professionalism the best. Rovin's workers showed up on time the day work was to begin; however, a job that was supposed to take 1.5 days to finish took 5 days due to human error, and trying to resolve the problem (drip from final application on floor where the worker set his roller to leave for the day and forgot to smooth it out on his way out the door). Total accident. It was one minor problem that turned into several after trying to rebuff and reapply the finish. I contacted Adrian when I noticed the drip and he sent his guy back that same day and the entire first floor hand to be rebuffed and another finish applied. With that said, this is a Swedish finish with horrible fumes so I'm sure it took it's toll on the worker. Unfortunately, the next day I noticed a very uneven application in several areas. I called Andrian again and he came to inspect the job the next day and said he's very busy but he would be back tomorrow to redo them himself. Anyway, Adrian came out to correct the problem which I appreciate but there are still some spots that I'm not completely satisfied with but I did not want him to do it again. I can hide those spots with rugs or furniture, and I want to get my house back in order. Overall, Adrian is professional and the floor looks way better than it did when they started. There was a language barrier with the workers so be mindful of this but Andrian is easy to reach if you have questions or need clarification. I wanted to give them 4+ stars so bad but couldn't justify it given the delays, uneven application in certain areas and no discount offered for the inconvenience. Would I hire Rovens again? Yes, probably, because he's professional and he tried to turn around the situation. Good customer service means a lot to us and I can tell Andrian wants to ensure his customers are satisfied. I added a photo of the drip that caused the rework if that hadn't happened I would have given them 5 stars because everywhere else was perfect. Unfortunately, the rework process turned one problem into several problems and additional delays in completing the work.
