My husband checked the pressure, and it was in fact low, so he added air, and we continued on our way north on I95. Within 20 minutes, the sensor signal alerted us again, that the tire had a problem. This happened to be on a Saturday morning, and nowhere near a dealership, but close to Selma, NC. I got on my phone and by sheer coincidence, saw Turner's Tire Service and called. A very polite young man named Justin answered, and told us that he would try to help us. We were at his shop within a half hour. He removed the wheel, and quickly determined that we in fact had a cracked rim. Although he could not replace it for us, he did manage to seal the crack well enough to last several hundred miles, so we could arrive at our destination safely. Justin did not want to charge us anything for his time or labor. We insisted he take some money for his work. I honestly do not know what we would have done without him. He told us that he has taken over this 40 year old business which was his Grandfather's. We wish him much success.

I visited a local dealer, but wasn't satisfied with their "Out the Door" price or the fact that I was left hanging for several days without communication. I found the exact vehicle I wanted at Lee Ford and called. I spoke with Morgan and explained that I know what I want, have a quote from one dealer, another dealer still to call and was ready to make a purchase based on who could give me the best price. All 3 dealers had the exact same vehicle/options/trim package/MSRP so I was comparing apples to apples. Morgan was eager to help, gave me a price over the phone. I thanked her and told her that I still needed to call one more place that evening and she offered her personal cell phone for me to continue to be in touch, even after they closed at 7pm. I told her I would call back by the next morning at the latest. She said that she was off the next day, but please call anyway with our decision, whether she was getting the sale or not. Not wanting to call too early on her day off, I planned to call around 9/9:30 am. She called me at 8:10 to check in. Long story short, we got a substantially better price and at a dealer an hour closer to home in VA. I was disappointed that she could not at least match the lower price, as we would have driven the extra hour to give her the sale. We were so impressed by her willingness to be available after they closed that night and also the next day on her day off. I texted her after purchasing our new Expedition to thank her for going above and beyond to make herself available. She was happy for us, asked to see pics of our vehicle and told me if I had any questions about our new Expedition, to please feel free to ask. Wow! Morgan is genuinely kind and caring and impressed us so much! I would recommend her highly for everyone in the area.
