The burger was cooked to a perfect medium and the melted cheese ran down the sides of the bun when I bit into it. It was loaded with sautéed mushrooms and crispy thick sliced bacon. The burger was drizzled with a sweet and tangy sauce that had hint of Bourbon. The chips may have been homemade, I'm not sure, but there were plenty of them. Back when I was a kid, all the men in my family even played on the softball team here, so this place has a lot of history and memories for us. I finally stopped in again recently and the food absolutely delivered. The pizza, cheese curds, onion rings, and pretzels were exactly what I was looking for when it comes to good, satisfying bar food. Everything hit the spot, and the portions were solid. What makes it even better is that I live right around the corner, so I definitely see this becoming a regular spot for me.
