There is a dartboard available and I noticed they had bottles of wine as well. There was just the one man who I believe is the owner working in front and he was busy taking and filling orders the whole time we were in. We ordered the meatballs app and a sausage pizza. While the crust is not made in house, the thin style we went with was super nice and flaky/crispy and the pizza sauce slightly sweet. All in all it was a good meal.

Like I said before, the sandwiches arrived the size of an adult's head. Jar dropping is a fitting description of what we looked like when our server placed the sandwiches before us. The homemade bread was soft and delicious. The chicken club easily had half a pound of cooked bacon on it. Before we ever took our first bites, we knew we would need to go boxes. Wait, did I mention we had the most wonderful cheese curbs as an appetizer? Worth ordering but only if you split a sandwich!! There are a handful of booths in the front area along with seating along the bar. TVs in the main room. There is also a back room that would hold maybe another 40 people. This tavern has been in place for years under different names. I would love to hear the history. I could see a set up that would have been particularly useful for gambling & drinking during prohibition. The staff was very efficient and helpful. One person out front & one in back. Never had to wait.

The service was fantastic all night. And the food. You get what you pay for, truly. This is a nice spot and the food is drool worthy. It's plated so nicely, everything was cooked to perfection, and they did a great job of complimenting sides with entrees. The cheese curds were also unique and fantastic. If you're in the area and want a dinner you know will be good, this is the spot.

We had the cheese curds for the appetizer and my husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the crusted chicken. All of our food was absolutely delicious- served hot, and perfectly seasoned. My husband commented that it tasted like a chef was in the kitchen. Think metropolitan, high-end restaurant quality food! Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality. The ambience is charming yet fresh and modern. Very clean. I would suggest to dress resort casual or nicer for an evening meal. The service was attentive and welcoming. There is room for a large group. Outside seating is available, but I wouldn't recommend because it is near a busy traffic light which would detract from the experience. Don't hesitate to try the Courthouse Pub for a delicious, memorable meal.

My server/bartender was attentive and very welcoming. A solid selection of taps, cans/bottles and your standard offering of booze. They do have a menu of different old fashioneds for those inclined. Their menu is your standard pub options-appetizers, pizza, wings, burgers, sandwiches, and fish on Fridays. I opted for one of their daily specials-steak sandwich. I opted for the upgrade for the side of fries that came with and selected the pickle chips. I am glad I did as they are some of the best I have tasted in quite sometime. Thinly sliced, they were perfectly fried with a thin batter that didn't hide the flavor of the pickle. The sandwich also hit the mark-tender steak nestled between a ciabatta bun. It was great. Highly recommend checking out Sauer's-a solid pub with some great food.

My spouse ordered the grilled cheese, which said on the menu it came with a choice of two cheeses. When he said which two cheeses he wanted, the waitress said that would be an extra charge. When he pointed to the menu, she said "she'd have to check". She never came back to tell us if he got two cheeses or not. We weren't given any utensils, so I had to get up and get my own from the hostess station. My burger had a very strong taste of livestock and barnyard. I also ordered an ice water which was almost undrinkable. At least invest in a faucet filter, guys. The homemade chips with garlic cream cheese were very good, though. At the end of the meal, the waitress brought our check, but then came and took it away from us because she forgot to add the beer my spouse ordered because their water had such a bad taste. Since she had already dropped the ball so many times, this could have been an opportunity to extend a gesture of good will and give it to him on the house, but alas. In addition, they have kind of a snotty little sign in the entrance demanding you wipe your feet as if you're a child, and they proudly display that they do not offer any service for their ample patio seating. Just not a great experience.

First of all it's a very cute, little, very classic bar with a handmade back bar that is incredible. I didn't partake but the bloody mary bar looked awesome. The owner explained that they have a variety of different musical events on a regular basis all of what sounded awesome. The day we were there it was Bob Balsley and Sarah Williams Larsen, guitar and fiddle respectively and a couple of guests that sat in for a song or three. Wow. They are incredible, entertaining and hilarious. I live in Milwaukee and would honestly include them being there in scheduling my next visit to Green Bay it was that much of a fun time.
