First time at lost key tap tonight in Wrightstown! The restaurant is clean and recently refurbished with a small but diverse menu. Service was attentive and quick. We went on the early side and had no issues with getting a table. I ordered the harvest fall salad with chicken and it was great portions, not too much dressing, and good flavor. Absolutely wonderful dining experience! This was our first visit; we saw all the positive reviews online and decided to make the drive to Wrightstown to try the menu for lunch. As soon as we entered we were greeted by Danny, the very friendly and knowledgeable owner. The ambience is very attractive with a beautiful bar, table seating, and booth seating. Lost Key offers specialty beers, great wines, and impressive cuisine. We started with 2 ales: first a "Founders Dirty Bastard MI, 8.7%" (a scotch Ale, dark ruby in color and brewed with seven varieties of imported malts)--really flavorful, and then a "Central Water, Ouisconsing Red Ale, WI 5%" (mellow malty flavor and subtle flowery nose)--very good but we were spoiled with the "Founders". We opted for the 2-course lunch special which was a great way to sample some of the menu easily. For first course the Arancini (rice balls) are superlative: tastes of ginger, carrot, and coconut delicately seasoned and cooked in a tender rice coating served with a coconut curry sauce (so good and with a kick!) that highlights the ingredients so well. We also tried the Burrata-ta-ta which was an upgrade from usual salad Caprese fare at other places: burrata cheese so fresh it squeaked, mixed with prosciutto, ledgeview tomatoes, and pesto in a red wine gastrique served with fresh naan bread triangles perfect for capturing every drop from the plate (and we did!) The Macademia Nut Crusted Walleye was flakey and seasoned so lightly to let the fish be the star of the dish served with roasted potatoes and vegetables in a buerre blanc sauce. Also we tried the Risotto entree, so creamy with Parmesan and perfectly blended with tomato compote and sweet pea. We wanted to sample dessert but had to admit defeat we were so sated from the 2-course savorings. Danny surprised us with a complimentary post-prandial glass of the Late Harvest J. Lohr White Riesling that was to be served at the sold-out special event he was hosting; we promised to book tickets for the next chef's tasting menu before it sold out. A wonderful dining experience, relaxed atmosphere, great service--all to be found in Wrightstown. We will be back with friends to enjoy this newly-discovered treasure. read more

Great food in a cool location. The place is spacious with plenty of seats inside and on the patio. The bar are is huge with several TVs. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We started with cheese curds and bruschetta. For the main entrees we tried the burger, grilled chicken sandwich, risotto and the lobster, crab, sausage mac and cheese. Love doesn't begin to describe this place! My aunt recommended we try Lost Key. We found street parking within a block and made our way inside. Darling building with a trendy vibe inside. We were greeted and made our way to the bar for some cocktails. I ordered the LKT Old Fashioned and my husband ordered a Buffalo Trace Manhattan. Very good. We were seated within 10 minutes of arriving and ordered their nightly specials which consisted of the pork loin with cherry sauce, carrots & asparagus and I had the sesame seared ahi tuna and shrimp fried rice. We would definitely order both again! Before dinner we ordered the deep fried bacon because seriously, do you ever see bacon on a menu and not order it?! Of course not! For dessert we enjoyed the Tiramisu and took half of it home. It was wonderful. We enjoyed a few more cocktails and spoke with both the manager and chef. I loved the fact that they walked around and asked how things were. The cocktails the manager made were delightful - thank you!! The wife and I checked this place out last night for the first time and really enjoyed it! I love the huge wrap around bar. The drinks were really good and the bar tender was friendly and very efficient! There was some really good live music while we were dining and it was at the perfect volume. We went in tonight after reading good things about this place. The food was very average at best. We had the Brie appetizer with raspberry sauce on the top. The cheese was not warm at all and the cheese was so tasteless. Our truffle fries were very good. I had the gnocchi and it was barely warm. My husband had the steak special and he said it was good but also very lukewarm. This is an expensive restaurant for sure. I wish the food quality had matched the prices. read more

The Gnocchi was very good, but with 2 pieces of crostini the entree is more bread than anything else. I ordered a Sprite/7up soda and was given seltzer with a small splash of lemon. We realized after we left that we had been charged for the same appetizer the other couple at our table had ordered. We did not eat an appetizer so either we were billed for their appetizer, or we were charged for 2 appetizers instead of one at our table. After spending at least $200, the waitress seemed to be hawking around our table waiting for us to leave. The restaurant charges a fee for card payments so be prepared to pay with cash (we did) if you don't want to pay an additional fee. read more

This place is a must try! Great customer experience. Our waiter and hostess were fantastic. I've personally had maybe one or two experiences like that in my life where they were genuine and loved their job. The food was excellent as well! I had the walleye and pastrami soup. In my group they had salmon, the pork chop special, and the steak special. We had tiramisu which was great as well. The only gripe I have is that my moscato was just okay. Once off the phone we got the 1 finger wait sign, 5 minutes passed while we waited to give our name. Finally got seated and the service was adequate but cold. Observing interactions with other tables was conversational and inviting. Our interactions were chaulked up to an annoyance or inconvenience to our server. Food arrived timely and was delicious. Drinks were brought in earnest. Observing other guest departures, "Thanks for coming in! See you next time!" . We paid, that was it. We left not a peep. Wont be coming back regardless how delicious the food was, this is a restaurant in wrightstown not Milwaukee, chicago or new york. We stopped in after seeing the yelp reviews and were at once pleasantly surprised by the great space. It was clean, friendly and spacious. The atmosphere is welcoming, the music is not overbearing but still "fun". The menu is well-rounded and has something for everyone - and everything we had was delicious. Wow! My husband and I stopped by for lunch and Lost Key Tap did not disappoint. We started with the cheesy rice balls as an appetizer and they were delicious - the sauce they were served in was so flavorful. Between the two of us we tried the BBLT and the Reuben, both were exceptional. The Reuben might be the best we've ever had - so full of flavor (they make it all in house and the dedication to the time it takes shows) and the bread was perfectly soft. We tried the raspberry Pot de Crème for dessert and it was heavenly. The chocolate flavor was perfect, melted in your mouth and the raspberry sauce was delicious. Don't sleep on the kettle chips! They make them in house and they are perfectly crispy. The service was wonderful and everyone was extremely friendly. Wishing Lost Key Tap a happy 6 month birthday! We only ordered drinks and a light appetizer so I can't speak too much on the food but the cheese curds were great and the drinks were great. It is a little on the $$$ side but for a nice little high end restaurant in Wrightstown, it's not terrible. We spent about $35 for 2 drinks and 1 (small in quantity) order of cheese curds. Seems very new and clean. Nice atmosphere and a cool set up. My wife and I went here for lunch. I had the pastrami Rueben and it was very good, somewhat pricey for $16 came with chips. My wife had the caperese sandwich and some soup , She enjoyed both. But again somewhat pricey $5 for cup of soup and $15 for sandwich. The service was good not great so no complaints. I looked at the beer menu and that was pretty expensive $7-$9 for a pint. I do wonder what this place is trying to be, it has about 10 TVs around the bar, so it looks like a sports bar, but it's menus and prices are like and upscale restaurant, so not sure if this combo will. First time to this restaurant and apparently we've been missing out. Beautiful bar with TVs surrounding it. Great drink menu so we decided to try a few of those. I had the Cham wow and it was really good. We were seated up on the stage area where the beautiful fireplace was located. We were cold, but the waitress turned the heat on the fireplace and that really helped. Ridiculous needing heat at the end of June! Anyway we tried the bone marrow appetizer and we didn't know what to expect, but it comes out still in the bone and you have to dig it out. That part was kind of a turn off and there wasn't a lot of flavor, but the bread, jam, and marrow combination was pretty good. We were happy we tried it, but probably wouldn't get it again because they have so many other things to try. Then we split the gnocchi with chicken added. Neither of us could finish it as it was a large serving. It was really good! We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is really nice and it was a really pretty restaurant. Wow doesn't begin to describe our experience! Immediately upon arrival we were greeted with a very friendly hostess who was eager to accommodate our needs. We had a reservation and arrived a little early but still sat us right away after noticing that I was on crutches. She asked what table might be better for my situation and thanked us for coming. We were seated and the owners wife ended up being our server. She was delightful and came to check on us frequently. Food was excellent! Very fast service! As with many high quality places the owner came around to our table to check and see how we were doing. This is always a great sign.....An owner who cares and is willing to help his staff and ensure guests are happy. My wife and I frequent many restaurants and this place is top notch.
