Very professional, on time and extremely pleasant to work with. They rectified a problem quickly, installed a socket and very courteous. We highly recommend this company in Big Bear Lake, CA. Bob Angilella RE/MAX Big Bear read more

Steve and his staff installed a Generator for our home in Big Bear. They did a great job. And even let us know that the generator we recently bought full price went on sale. Saving us $1000! Thanks Steve! Highly recommended! read more

I've used Ludecke's on several projects and each time I'm impressed by the quality of work and fair pricing. Highly recommend. Note: recent project is Tesla universal charger. They did an amazing job. read more

On time found problem and fixed. GFI shorted out in bathroom and caused bedroom also to loose electrict power.

These guys made lots of updates to my older property and did a great job. Professional, thorough and prompt. I would definitely recommend.

Steve came on a Wednesday to give me an estimate. I feel the estimate he gave was more than fair. I thought it would have to be scheduled for September sometime, but he said, "How about tomorrow?" His crew showed up the very next day and were even a little bit early. Isaiah and Mack were professional and thorough. I was having 220 put in for a new range and water heater. Not only did they put in all the wiring, they installed my new range as well. They explained everything they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves and were courteous and friendly throughout. He even checked on a switch I had said I was having trouble with. I will be using their service in the future. read more

Called for a quote. Steve was responsive in his communication and the process quoted was fair. Always showed up on time of not early. Chad who did the work was respectful of the property, clean in his work and finished as promises. With drywall cutting and wall obstruction the house was probably left cleaner then when he arrived. I'm struggle to find good, fair, honest respectful contractors and I simply can not say you can go wrong in hiring this locally owned company. read more

I called at 12:30pm to report that there was something wrong in my house. Steve and Isaiah showed up at 1:15pm and got to work. They were done by 2:15pm. They were very nice and effective. I was worried that I had a big problem but all they had to do was replace the receptacle. I appreciate this kind of business. I highly recommend them! read more

Responded with quote within a few days but never showed up to do the work. Very disappointed in the lack of follow thru on commitment.

Arrived on time and did great job. Did extra work for a reasonable price. Highly recommend

We have a new place up in Big Bear and have had difficulty finding good reliable contractors to do little projects around the house. Chad was great, came to the house, gave us an estimate, scheduled the work and when the day came, communicated the scope to Zach, the installer. Having a construction background myself, I can tell this company is one that I'll keep handy in my contacts. Really appreciate your work. read more

It was Friday afternoon, and we needed to head down the Hill when we lost power in part of the house. Two electricians (the other Steve and one of the Isaiahs) came, diagnosed the problem as a bad double breaker and had to do some fancy footwork in our panel, but they got it done and replaced an issue going back to the mid Eighties, when the house was built. Chad on the phone in the office made it all possible. Thanks, guys. You saved the day! read more

Contractors in all fields are pretty slammed right now. It took longer than expected to get the report, but Steve compensated for the delay accordingly. I appreciate that kind of integrity. read more

We had lost power in part of our house. Steve came out and took care of it in no time. Also, he showed us how to reset our GFI outlets if they go out again. He's a very nice guy! read more

Unfortunately I did not have Steve Ludecke do my service because I need something urgent; he's very busy and at least a month out. However, he's responsive, responsible, and what I heard is: he is one of the best in town! read more

Ludecke's was professional from the start! Steve was very friendly and responsive! Fair price and Zach did the work and he was fantastic! We had ring camera's installed. Zach is a pro! Highly recommend ! 10 out of 10 read more

Chad was very responsive and accommodating. I ended up canceling on Chad because I was able to fix the issue myself after 3 hours of troubleshooting, but called Chad 6 times in one day trying to get him out to service my house out of panic. He picked up every time and was trying to move things out of his way to schedule a time with me same day. I am grateful for his time and more importantly he did not get mad at me when I canceled on him. Thanks Chad! read more

Steve is awesome! He was very responsive and very easy to talk with. We were looking to do an electrical panel upgrade but he actually explained to us that we didn't need one....and provided suggestions on resolving our issues. Even though we didn't need his services this time, I will definitely keep his info for future references! read more

We have used their services for decades, and they are always prompt, professional and reasonably priced. They recently installed a chandelier in our living area with a team of guys that were fantastic. Highly recommend these guys. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews , but this deserves one. Big Bear is known to have high estimates and slow service, however this company was different. Reasonable prices for the work. Responsive to texts/emails. Showed up on time. Kept their word with the estimate amount. And cleaned up really well after completion. Definitely recommend and will use them again. read more

Let's start by saying I expect professionalism and extraordinary service from everyone I deal with as that is what my company delivers to people. When I saw this company had five stars I almost found it hard to believe, but after experiencing their professionalism and quality workmanship I now understand why they have such high ratings. This is definitely a five-star company and I would highly recommend working with Steve and his crew regardless the lead time he needs to give you. There's a reason why they are so busy, Its because they care and they are an outstanding company that stands behind what they say they're going to do and they do it. Worth the wait! read more

Amazing service! Called Ludecke's because I purchased a chandelier that had reviews that said it took people 1-2 days to assemble and put up. Ludecke's has our new chandelier assembled, I stalled and the old removed in less than an hour! He even had to take a couple parts back to his shop to fix! I would definitely use them for anything electrical in the future for our Big Bear rental property. Hands down best service! read more

Been waiting on a quote for over 5 months. Someone came out to our house to discuss the work we needed done, and we've been following up since then with no luck. Never responds to texts or emails. read more

Exceptional service! I moved to Big Bear City in the middle of this winter, literally early January. I converted a vacation home into daily living. Obviously, I had no necessary appliances, while the fridge and stove were from the '80s! Steve and Chad wired underneath (!) my house, and now I have a washer & dryer. Welcome to the civilized world! I cannot tell you how professional and perfect their work is! The washer & dryer work faultlessly with their wiring. Next I changed the stove, and Chad did a fantastic job - again, wiring underneath the house - converting my stove electric system from 110V to 220V. This is not something easy to do, yet Chad accomplished it effortlessly and clean. Again, I was welcomed to the civilized world. Steve Ludecke's electrical services are at the highest end of professionalism. I highly recommend Steve & his team. I cannot imagine moving to Big Bear City without his support. Thank you! read more

These guys never return my calls. I've tried many times over the last 2 years. I guess they are too busy, but they should have some one reach out to say so read more

Awesome service. We have an old house and will definitely be using them for all our electrical needs in the future.

Great service and communication with Ludeck's Service for installing ceiling fans in our cabin.

I own a vacation rental in Big Bear Lake and this past weekend I was notified by my tenants that our heating unit had stopped working. The weather was cold & rainy (snow was expected) so it was very important to get someone out right away. I called a few places prior to coming across Steve's company on Yelp but I was not able to get ahold of anyone. The one company that I was able to reach was just a dispatch. All they could do was pass along a message. They could not tell me when someone would call me back or if they could get out same day. Luckily, I did reach Steve. When I called his number, he answered his phone! He understood the importance of my call and said he could get there within 30 minutes. True to his word, he got to my house within the timeframe promised. Thankfully he found out that my wall unit just needed to be reset due to a safety button that was flipped for running too hot. Needless to say, I was very appreciative of his prompt service. It can be difficult owning a vacation rental, especially not living in town myself. Having great local people to help really makes things so much easier! Thanks again Steve!! read more

I had called steve to come out to a sunday for a quote to get my cameras installed and have my electrical moved 20 ft since i needed to move the storage shed and the shed had lights inside it. He told me he'd send me a quote monday and i followed up the following tuesday and he said it was going to be the following monday. That monday came and still no quote, so i found someone else. Luckily i didnt go with steve, his plan to reroute my electrical was a short cut by cutting into my bedroom and using the power outlet there. I ended up hiring someone else from down the hill for half the price and he reran it from my electrical box to the back and added addtional gfci outlets for me for future use. Btw the quote finally came 3 weeks later..so glad i didnt go with them. read more

We had an electrical problem over the weekend at my big bear cabin. Called 4 electricians. Ludecke's was the only one to respond. Super easy to work with. Called back right away and had a fair price. Made an appointment to come out and do the job, he showed up on time and got the job done. I highly recommend and would use Ludecke's for any electrical jobs in the future. read more

Bob Ludecke has been a reliable man to call for over 30 years that I've known him. It's no surprise that Steve Ludecke, his son is amazing. I called with an idea that I wanted to change a water heater and gas wall heater to take advantage of my solar electric. He patiently walked me through what would be needed and told me, 1- my sub panel in a secondary house was adequate, 2- the 15 year old gas water heater was working so why change it now? and 3- the electric wall heater I had in mind was not a good idea so he made other suggestions for the future. He talked me out of making unnecessary expenditures!! First class, integrity. read more

We actually ended up doing the work ourselves thanks to our contractor brother in law randomly coming up to see the property. But, still have to give five star because Steve still came over knowing we had a bunch of small menial tasks and gave what seemed a fair estimate. Seems like a good responsible dude. Will definitely use again if have any electrical tasks in future. read more

Update : Still good as ever. An outlet they installed gave way after a year and they showed up instantly (though I live out of town now) and took care of my anxious tenant. Thanks so much guys, you rock. The outlet was not their fault...it happens and they took care of it with just the charge for labor. We really appreciate your service. read more

Steve and his guys are honest , reliable, knowledgeable, friendly and always helpful.
