Alaska electric was amazing to work with. They did their homework on what would work on my older panel and came up with the right solution for installing a transfer switch to pair with my generator. Worked perfectly when power was turned off for the latest fires - what a lifesaver! Would highly recommend for any electrical service. Great communication. Great service. Great pricing. read more

Alaska was recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. She showed up on time and was responsive throughout the project. It hard to find reliable vendors on the mountain, I count Alaska as one of them. read more

Got a quote once but then said they could not take the job. That was ok I understand they are busy. Then I called to see if they can another job and they said they would call back. No call. Then called to give them another chance and they said they could not until the first week of following month so I asked them if they can put me on the calendar and she said yes. Never heard from them. It is really up to them who they have time for but it is not a good thing to say you will be put on the calendar and then never called on that day. I lost time trusting them and unfortunately they lost my business. I do Airbnb's so it's probably worked out better I get more reliable service. read more

Alaska Electric just completed an update on our Beach condo. They were professional and courteous from the initial introduction, through to the final punch list. The work was done on time and to perfection. Their recommendations and attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations. The overall price came in below the estimate. I can't say enough good about this company. We will be having them back again for our next project. read more

Communicative, punctual and quality work. What more could you ask for? I had them install a plug outside for our EV. Did a great job and were in and out with no mess. I would definitely do business again. Thank you again ladies read more

They came on time and solved my problem quickly. Proud to see women succeed in this business.

My service was top notch from beginning to end. They responded to my request quickly and kept communication with every question i had. Alaska Electric showed up on time and handled my issues professionally. Very reasonable with pricing. Definitely keeping them as my go to for any future needs. One of Big Bear's finest! read more

The near experience I have ever had with an electrician. Fast response, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I will use them for all my needs up in big bear read more

I've used Alaska Electric on multiple occasions and they've consistently done a superior job for a reasonable price. Sandice and Kjrsten have replaced faulty outlets and light switches, they've installed new additional outlets on the exterior of my house, they've corrected potentially hazardous wiring, and they've installed LED light fixtures in my garage. Their communication is by far the best I've ever experienced from any contractor and/or service provider in Big Bear. Unfortunately timely communication (or any communication for that matter) is sorely lacking with many contractors on the mountain, but this is definitely not the case with Alaska Electric. Sandice and Kjrsten really know their stuff, and they work efficiently and safely. They've become my electricians of choice, and I'll definitely be calling on them again in the future for any electrical issues. Highly recommended. read more

They are amazing!! Everything from start to finish was excellent! I found them through Yelp. They responded quickly, came out and gave me a quote, and did the job all when they said they would. Price was very reasonable. Their work is excellent and clean and they are very nice. I will definitely call them again! read more

Sandice and Kjrsten did a fantastic job at our cabin in Moonridge. We needed a few electrical outlets and switches added as well as a ceiling fan added to the great room which happened to be about 19 feet up on an open beam ceiling. I'm so happy with the results, communication was great and they left our cabin the way they found it. All of the work is top quality and I would recommend them without hesitation! read more

Alaska Electric is AMAZING! Their communication is outstanding and is only usurped by their incredible work. They can literally do it all. We had them install dimmer switches, new light fixtures, added electrical outlets inside and outside the home, added wired security cameras and rerouted electrical for a new washer and dryer. They are friendly, cleaned up after themselves and completed the work in less time than expected. Their rates are fair and the work was thorough yet speedy while making safety a priority. Plus, they made excellent recommendations for other tradespeople in the area. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Very easy to work with, highly reliable. They helped us with the panel upgrade when we added solar on the Palm Springs house and then the spa electrical upgrade for the cabin in Big Bear. Excellent experience with them on the big jobs and now use them for all the little jobs (ceiling fan, upgrading plugs, etc.) Highly recommend! read more

We can't say enough good things about these ladies, Sandice and Kjrsten. They have done several jobs for us, and they are not only pleasant and professional, they really know their stuff! They even made a house call late one night, when we thought we had an electrical emergency. Five Stars for sure! read more

This dynamic duo 2-woman team wired and installed 3 recessed LED lights, connected power to 2 kitchen lights that had to be traced to the power source, disconnected a 220 sub- panel that was left open and live after an air conditioning guy removed the unit but left the power, and helped me figure out a simple solution to a light in the bathroom. All while problem-solving with clean, elegant and simple solutions. I completely demo/remodeled my home and had a lot of loose ends downstairs which they solved in 2 hours. Looking forward to having them return to install a ceiling fan in my 18 ft. Ceiling Geodesic dome, and rewire my garage. It's not easy finding a good electrician and I'm glad to have found them. They were easy to communicate with and clearly skilled professionals. Highly recommend. read more

Alaska Electric always does a great job for us and goes the extra mile. Whenever anyone asks for an electrician, this is who we recommend.

Alaska Electric came out and installed three fixtures and fixed the kitchen electrical outlet. They were reliable and quick workers, and charged a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend them for all your electrical needs. Thank you Alaska! read more

I recently completed a major renovation project on a very old property in Palm Springs. I hired Alaska Electric to work on all phases of the electrical portion of the project (indoors and out). I'm very happy with the quality of their work and there are a real pleasure to have around (and work with). They also worked very well with other trades on the job site. There were lots of challenges thrown their way given the age of the property, but they were able to figure out solutions for everything. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to hire them again! read more

Alaska Electric hooked up my pool and my hot tub. They did a great job and the price was fair. I will hire them every time I need an electrician. I had called 2 other electricians first and neither one showed up. The girls from Alaska Electric showed up on time and were friendly and professional. read more
