Got a quote once but then said they could not take the job. That was ok I understand they are busy. Then I called to see if they can another job and they said they would call back. No call. Then called to give them another chance and they said they could not until the first week of following month so I asked them if they can put me on the calendar and she said yes. Never heard from them. It is really up to them who they have time for but it is not a good thing to say you will be put on the calendar and then never called on that day. I lost time trusting them and unfortunately they lost my business. I do Airbnb's so it's probably worked out better I get more reliable service. read more

I've used Alaska Electric on multiple occasions and they've consistently done a superior job for a reasonable price. Sandice and Kjrsten have replaced faulty outlets and light switches, they've installed new additional outlets on the exterior of my house, they've corrected potentially hazardous wiring, and they've installed LED light fixtures in my garage. Their communication is by far the best I've ever experienced from any contractor and/or service provider in Big Bear. Unfortunately timely communication (or any communication for that matter) is sorely lacking with many contractors on the mountain, but this is definitely not the case with Alaska Electric. Sandice and Kjrsten really know their stuff, and they work efficiently and safely. Alaska Electric is AMAZING! Their communication is outstanding and is only usurped by their incredible work. They can literally do it all. We had them install dimmer switches, new light fixtures, added electrical outlets inside and outside the home, added wired security cameras and rerouted electrical for a new washer and dryer. This dynamic duo 2-woman team wired and installed 3 recessed LED lights, connected power to 2 kitchen lights that had to be traced to the power source, disconnected a 220 sub- panel that was left open and live after an air conditioning guy removed the unit but left the power, and helped me figure out a simple solution to a light in the bathroom. All while problem-solving with clean, elegant and simple solutions. I completely demo/remodeled my home and had a lot of loose ends downstairs which they solved in 2 hours. Looking forward to having them return to install a ceiling fan in my 18 ft. Ceiling Geodesic dome, and rewire my garage. It's not easy finding a good electrician and I'm glad to have found them.
