This salon and its staff are lovely, so nice, and SO good at what they do. I was lucky to find Cara in September 2021 when I moved back to Houston. I needed a curly-hair, dry-cut and color/highlight pro; Cara goes above and beyond with helping me maintain a beautiful curly cut and color! She also got me through chemo through all of 2022. Cara was so supportive when my hair fell out, gave me an epic buzz cut, let me know when it was time to shave it off completely, and then stuck by me as my curls grew back out. She also always does a beautiful job on my hair color/root touch-up and highlights. 100/10 recommend Cara! On the few occasions when she has been unavailable, Rachel, Meg, and Jen have also been fantastic. As a patron, it's important to also think of businesses as if they were your own. Now, enough about that little rant of mine lol So Bunmi's salon is actually far from me. I drive 40 minutes, but remember, investment! :) The salon is upstairs in a shopping center on Bellaire Ave. It is located in the "Phenix Salon Suites." She has her own room and the vibe is there! I went for a consultation with Nacole and she said that I COULD get extensions. I was pretty excited hearing that news. So I schedule an install appointment for the following week. Leading up to my appt I was pretty nervous. The day of my appt even more nervous, but when I sat down in Nicole's chair she put my mind at ease. The whole process was simple and didn't take as long as I expected. She was great about telling this Newby how to care for my new hair was was very patient about answering my questions. She also told me that if I have ANY questions to not hesitate to message her anytime. Since I've had them installed I've had a couple of questions and she got back to me and has helped put my mind at ease. She is very good at what she does.
