We have been taking our oldest pug here for close to a year, he has very sensitive skin and the team at Muddy Pup has always made sure to use the best shampoo for his skin and they always make sure he doesn't get cologne. These maybe minor details make all the difference and really shows how much Muddy Pup cares about not just making sure your pet looks the best but they make sure they will feel their best even after leaving the groomers. Our family just adopted a rescue pug and it was her first spa day with her big brother and the team at Muddy Pup was so caring and gentle with our rescue, our family can't thank you enough! We were nervous to take our rescue pug knowing what her past couple months have looked liked but Muddy Pup let us know she was more timid and needed big brother, they even let her air dry instead of using the dryers since they could see she was a bit more overwhelmed. Everyone in the shop is so kind, and genuinely love what they do. We have a Scottish Terrier and a Maltipoo--Sherlock and Bailey. Our Maltipoo was a rescue, she still has issues with strangers. But she was so calm, her groomer said Bailey was so sweet and easy for her groom! So, basically, we have found a groomer we will stick with!! We had hopped around to follow our former favorite groomer, but he has now moved on to working in tech and the previous place sold to new management. We had to seek a new place. After combing through reviews of all places near our home (76244) I settled on Pride and Groom 100% because of good reviews. I am so glad I did! She was given to us by someone who didn't want her, and it was entire learning process figuring out how to keep her well groomed. I already have two yorkies and they are a bit lower maintenance than toy poodles. The first two groomers I took her her to basically buzzed her and gave her a very uneven hair cut even though she wasn't matted. Anne's has always made Tillie look so beautiful and I've been so happy with how she smells and her haircut. I think my girl loves going to see the staff as well! They are always so welcoming and friendly. I'm finally taking my yorkies tomorrow and have no doubt they will look fabulous when they walk out!

His last grooming experience about 4 months ago by someone else resulting in him coming home still damp, like he hadn't been brushed, his paws not trimmed and his nails jagged with one of his dew claws split and bleeding. I hesitate to take Liam to places where he will be around other dogs because we are still working on his reactivity to other dogs. I decided I would try mobile grooming although it was pricier than I would like. I reviewed multiple mobile groomers and Luxe Hounds price point aligns with others and they had great reviews so I made my choice. My appointment was scheduled for around 12pm. I received a text letting me know they would be late because of an older dog taking more time than expected and offered to reschedule if needed. I opted to keep the same day since I was available all day. I received an update that they were able to make it to me by 1pm. I appreciated the communication and updates. Liam came back to me looking and feeling amazing! His paws and nails look so clean and neat. He was fully dry and I can tell he was brushed out well and blown out because I was rubbing and petting him for the rest of the day and there was ZERO shedding. Overall it was worth every penny! I will definitely be using Luxe Hounds again. Thank you!
