Good hardware store in terms of inventory. Poor hardware store in terms of friendliness and customer service. Know what you want to purchase when you go in and don't plan on getting any help. Lastly, I know this is a hardware store and not a daycare, but to deny a 3-yr old of using the potty in an emergency seems pretty cold-hearted. I've been coming to your store for nearly 20 years now, or since you open, without incident. However, today at the case register, I met a woman I never seen before. She said her name is Elizabeth Walbridge. Attached is her pic. She was horrendous towards me. I bought a pot that costed roughly $100. See pic. The price listed on the shelf said $75. She rang it up as $108. I showed her the tag, she said it was wrong and asked me if I still wanted it. I said yes. I drove home and found the real price tag inside the box which was $98. I drove back and her words to me were: "Fine I will give you back the $10 if you promise never to come into this store again." On video. Everyone else there is helpful and friendly. I was so pleased with the staff here. I stopped in to get a small part to fix a shower seat for my handicapped mother. Barry not only found he part, he realized the other screws were stripped and the dissembled and reassembled the seat so that it would be safe for use. His extra effort (at no cost) to help was so appreciated. And from my quick look around the store, there was a great variety of items and if I wasn't off to run errands, I would have enjoyed poking around. read more

I've been in this store a few times, it is really convenient and unique. This is not just a hardware store, they sell a little of everything. There's gas grills,paint,car stuff,plumbing supplies,gifts,candles,hardware..you name it they have it. The prices are a little high,not bad though. The staff is really friendly and helpful too. Plenty of parking close to the store in their lot, easy in and out. Definitely a really nice store! read more

This place is the most overpriced place I have ever seen with my own eye. Just for example, Rotella 15w40 engine oil is 12.99 a gallon at Walmart. At Lucy Hardware.. is is 25.99!!!!??? Not to mention I ordered a part for my snowblower about a month ago meanwhile they told me it would be there the day after. Still waiting. I even went in a few days ago. "Back order" EVERYTHING here is AT LEAST 50% more expensive than ANYWHERE ELSE. If it wasn't for Walmart/Home Depot/Lowe's being 15 minutes away. I can't speak highly enough of their customer service. I returned a pair of gloves and Jessica helped me with that. There was some confusion regarding the refund but Jessica made it right. Hard saying what happened, but Jess was polite, professional, and courteous. I'll definitely go back for my next purchase of gloves. I also rented a power washer which I was quite pleased with. I needed a new grill for my rental condo and had guests checking in the same day. With a quick 10 minute phone call, they had everything settled. I was able to find the perfect electric Weber Q grill for my condo and a table to put it on and they were kind enough to set it up and deliver for me by the end of the day. Extremely overpriced store. Products are double the price as Lowes and Home Depot. The service isn't much better. I was a customer of this store for 3 years and it used to be good. I had a bad experience today and the manager didn't even try to make up for it. For this I vowed not to shop in this store...I'd rather drive to the other end of town and go to Home Depot rather than support this local hardware store. read more
