The person,(I'm sorry I forget his name) was very helpful and worked with me trying different options by piecing pipe and flanges together to get to what I needed. Probably spent 1/2 hour with me trying to figure something out. There have been times when I walk in 5 minutes before closing needing a propane tank refilled and they have no problems taking the time to do it. Will always continue to go there as long as things are as they are today.

Read Clarke retired after a lifetime of commitment and service to the community and this store was sold to Rocky's Hardware, a New England chain based in Springfield MA, with 48 stores including in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida. Rocky's is family owned. Although most of the original employees are no longer working there, it still remains a super community place in small-town New England. The employees are super friendly and eager to assist. The Ace Hardware affiliation means they can take advantage of a worldwide supply chain. Since the turnover, stock variety has visibly increased. Another addition to their offerings include online ordering. It was sad to see the old family move away. But if it had to, Rocky's is a welcome presence in the community.
