I didn't realize how far the storm impacted the region, everyone was without power. All people had were their cars and generators for electricity. Being ignorant of the situation in Ossippee, I had placed an on-line order for wood and an axe. So when arriving for curbside pickup, my order hadn't gone through because, well, there was no internet. I bought the couple bundles of wood that was left. Of course I'm thinking "great, now I have to go through the process of a refund through the company for my online order." Nope! The order was cancelled and I was relieved. The staff were helpful, the store manager was straight forward and honest with customers. They we're limiting customers in the store because there was no lights, and staff were escorting customers with flash lights. At purchase they were willing to take credit, however they would need to write everything down and charge it when the power came back. This was the first thing you were informed just so you were aware. Of course cash was preferable today. Given the circumstances this was an interesting experience and interesting to see how they managed the power outage. Oh, the second thing you were informed of, no generators in stock! Be prepared people, don't buy on the day disaster strikes.
