However, now other more convenient places have cropped up in the area it's not so much a staple for me - having to cross Bangerter Highway and its crazy intersections are not the things that make gas stations nor their stores convenient, and thus negates what they are unless they are closely on your route. This one is great if you're coming from Herriman, beyond that it has always been a bit of a pain, always surrounded by construction, and due to there not being many other options in the past still a go to place. I actually feel bad for businesses in this area. However, my rating ignores this since it was a go to place for me for many years, always had great service and what it provides it does well. Businesses have little control on what goes on around them, so I'm still a fan and still someone who will visit when travelling Westwards from Riverton beyond Bangerter.

It's that I spent my time going over there to get something that wasn't even on the shelf because the employee didn't bother to look and just lied to me that they had it. I talked to management. I told them the story Keegan was present. I told Keegan I get that everybody's understaffed and we're all busy, but if you don't have time to actually go do what you say you're going to do which is look for it then just ask somebody else to help the customer instead of telling them something that's not true. I would like to see this location give all of their employees some customer service remediation. This is not my first poor customer service at this location. I think everybody could benefit from it. The convenience store part was, anyway, but the gas pumps are on 24/7 so I drove it to fuel up. Unfortunately, the first pump I went to seemed to be malfunctioning. It was stuck in permanent "Cancelled" mode. I walked across the the next pump and it was also malfunctioning. I walked around to the other side of the pump where I had pulled up and it appeared to be working, so I drove around. Third time was a charm, and I fueled up. I have to say, however, that this was one of the slowest pumps I've been to in a really long time. I still had a quarter of a tank when I drove in, and it may have taken well over 5 minutes to fill the thing up. Now, 5 minutes, in the grand scheme of things, is not much time. But count to 60 and realize that's about how much time it was taking to pump a whole gallon. S l o w... The convenience store looked decent. Some ice cream specials in the afternoon sounded mighty tasty and would be a nice topper to a J Dawgs afternoon, which is a but a block up the road.
