The rooms are quiet from the lobby and outside traffic. and guess what? i actually received a full hour long massage! something i haven't had in a long time, despite normally paying for a full hour. this establishment, according to their website, have massage therapists that are trained in a multitude of massage techniques, including sports and deep tissue, pregnancy, hot stone, and medical massage. i assume they also offer lymphedema massage under that medical umbrella. tifton has a multitude of questionable massage parlors (think Happy Spa, VIP massage, All Asian Spa, etc). Therapeutic Massage and Health clinic is legitimate and a job well done. i paid 50 bucks for a soft tissue, hour long massage.

I have had lots of massage work done for chronic pain in my shoulders. Since this business is listed as being "therapeutic", and the therapists came with good looking training, I gave it a shot. I chose Leah, because she was listed as being trained in a multitude of massage techniques, including pain relief. I was very disappointed that after I told her where I needed work done, she didn't focus on those areas. Additionally, she seemed to rush through each section of the massage, and never asked if the pressure was appropriate or if I needed more or less work in a specific area. I can unfortunately say that this was the worst massage I have ever received in that past 7 years that I have been using massage for relaxation and pain relief. I would not recommend this place again to anyone else.

I left a tip with payment and that man RUDELY began shaking his head no, smirking, and told me that wasn't a big enough tip. He snatched my receipt from my hand and then shoved other receipts at me - showing other customer tips. I NEVER went back. It's a shame because I had been coming there regularly for over a year. Tips are great and I always left one - but they are not mandatory. I started to ask him how much of the massage cost he was actually giving to his therapists, but I was done. That service was excellent. BUT then the tech waxed my eyesbrows. She ripped all of my hair off. She went beyond my brow line. I look like a bald headed chicken. When I brought it to the manager's attention, they refused to apologize or accept responsibility. They made up excuses and offered to reimbursed me $10 for the service. I asked to be compensated for my inconvenience. They refused. They've lost a loyal (8 year) customer for sure.
