Visited for another Flashfood order. * I didn't have enough time to look around, but the cashier and produce areas were clean and orderly. * A staff member was kind enough to help me within just a few minutes of getting to the Customer Service desk. He found my order quickly & helped me grab the fruit and produce boxes I'd ordered. Easy to load into a cart, great selection of produce - we'll be having apple desserts and soups for days! read more

Worst supermarket location EVER. Most pathetic uncaring mismanaged staff ... especially the checked out clerks. WORST. Would never recommend this lousy store location to anyone. Talking to managers about repeated problems produced No change and No improvement or training. read more

I went in on 9/20/26 and as I was getting a salad kit I realized some had expired that day. As I kept looking, I saw that others had expired for a week already! You can see the salad turning brown and rotting at the bottom. How is this happening and allowed at a grocery store?! I saw a worker with the tomatoes and went to go inform him. I was very nice about and because of that, Randall looked at me and then looked away as if he didn't care. Didn't bother to go grab them out of the fridge or no "thank you" at least. Please avoid this store if you can!! read more

Just wanted to let customers and store know that the Pokémon display that this store had selling packs of Pokémon cards are counterfeit Pokémon cards for $6.99 a pack we opened three packs recieved these cards and went to have them graded the guy confirmed that the cards are counterfeit. I expressed we purchased at a Luckys Grocery store although he is a professional shop owner and clarified the Pokémon cards are indeed counterfeit So do not buy the Pokémon packs at Luckys grocery stores. read more

I have been shopping at this location for over 30 years and have never encountered such rude behavior by a cashier. Pam that claimed to be the manager was very rude, combative ,argumentative and challenging. She invited me to call corporate and file a complaint as she did not care about treating customers properly. She has control and anger issues ...needs anger management . I did not go to lucky's to look for an argument but was unlucky to meet Pam. She won the argument and failed to do her job. read more

Customer service is wonderful. They are always helpful and have a great attitude towards me when I need help.

Gran experiencia excelente comida restaurante limpio y buena atención de los empleados

5 stars for Julia! She's always super helpful and personable whenever I stop in. There are a couple of items that are placed in weird sections compared to other grocery stores (like the cream cheese), but overall I have had a good experience at this store. They also carry good one off items i don't see stocked at other stores too. read more

RUNNNN ELSEWHERE with your money! I just spent $100 for associate AT self check out to have an attitude that I'm checking out items more than 15. Well maybe if you had more registers OPEN and people in line are not frustrated maybe more people would be paying at the register instead of check out. Yeah?! I don't care what your self check out policy is, open more than 1 register on busy day!!! Also just because you have trust issues with others stealing at your store, don't treat good people who work hard for their money LIKE crap! I asked for 3 bags that I paid for, and Randall? He said go ahead and first pay. You freaking kidding me, can't you not see me with a receipt??? This place after today has me feel some type of way that I will never come back or spend a penny. It's starting to look filthy and unorganized and makes you question what are you even buying or spending money on, even tho it's around the corner from my house. No thanks, I'll go to Safeway and get what I need for at least friendly staff and self check out that doesn't make you question if you are stealing! Fruits and vegetables look old and could be replenished. If your strawberries are 2/$5 they shouldn't look moldy and dry! I don't feel comfortable buying any fruit for kids here when I see people switching grapes from one bag to another, their blueberries $7.99 dry and half empty cause people are switching them like at any stories that they allow this to get their value. Health department needs to see more of this! Such a shame! I kept my mouth shut for a long time but after today, no. It's a shame that you don't value or show interest organizing your store to have a better presentation with all the products since your prices have gone up! Open boxes with drinks? Open boxes in freezer why? Dogs food is a mess with misplaced prices! I could keep going on and on, but it's not worth it! U spend 5-$100 u are treated like crap or jail cell at the front of the store staring at you. Do better management with your employees or hire a normal security in front of the store. Check out in the front is not mean to be a guard cell just because good people ask for your assistance and you are having a bad day helping customers! If you love what you do, you will never have a bad day! At least at grocery store. read more

Came at 9:58 and they already had the door locked. When the employee came to let out another customer the rude blond store employee kept saying we are closed even though it was 9:59 and had a huge smile like she was satisfied in not letting me in. VERY long lines a little before noon today and 1 cashier. Their selection of freshly made sandwiches is not that good either, and way too pricey. 8 dollars for a little tiny sandwich. I am not going here again, big mistake! Don't waste your time, especially if on your lunch break. read more

Wanted to buy the tri-tip on sale. The butcher was courteous and professional. At the checkout, I gave my phone number for the digital coupon. The cashier, Wallaa, said that I need to clip the coupon. Well, it was clipped. I went to customer service and talked to the manager, Robin, who kept telling me to clip the coupon and should learn how to do it. I kept telling her that the coupon is clipped. She got aggressive and started yelling. I decided to return the meat and get the refund. Kelly, the cashier, was also disrespectful. I don't normally buy from this store. I went back to Safeway on San Carlos. All professional and no issue with the digital coupon. I strongly recommend to avoid this store. Unprofessional from manager down to cashier. If I could give a lower rating, I would. read more

This is my neighborhood grocery store.. so even if it were awful I'd probably still go. Fortunately for me, I really enjoy this store. Shout out to Justin in the meat department (I only overheard his name after he helped me one time...white dude/tattoos) every time I'm there he is super helpful. Today he actually left the butcher counter to find capers for me. I had a really bad day and sometimes it takes a small gesture to snap out of it. I looked for an employee review section in the lucky website but couldn't find it so I am hoping this reaches managements ears. The entire meat department are all stars and the morning crew kills it. Also.. there's a caper shortage read more

I usually don't leave reviews and bad reviews at that . Long story short , I basically just got profiled . I usually shop at Walmart , Safeway , and Lucky's occasionally. today I needed to deposit some money and they have a BOA at the end of the register, I thought why not before I get my kids out of school. I came in , one of the associates seemed like they were arguing with a customer. " he/she said I don't honor the sales ." Something of that sort of with a bad attitude even after that person left . First off, , I get customer service can be demanding but really ? You decide to just give a bad attitude while other shoppers around . OK... Whatever , so anyways while I was standing there waiting for the machine because an elder women was getting her transaction ( seemed a while ) , I stood far away as to give her space . I clearly have my wallet , bank card in hand and all the workers are looking at me . Soo what seemed like for eternity, the lady is still there . They finally whispered and I one of them by the register, says does she need help (me) while whispering something else and looking at me up & down ). So they look at me and I said , yes the machine . Anyway , the women finally finished her transition, thank goodness . But next time , I'll just go to the actual Bank of America Needless to say I will no longer be supporting this place . The aducaity! read more

I've gone a few times kinda later at night thinking I'd make it before closing. I show up at 10:15 or 10:20 and they're closed even though the hours say till 11. So maybe they just need to get their hours updated. I would give one star. But I usually have no problems here. If you want to close at 10, that's fine... just change your listed hours so I don't make the effort to go. read more

Lucky on on Camden Avenue is always out of specials minutes after the store opens on the day they advertise it. This appears to be almost a bait and switch. It's not even a switch because they don't give you an option for an alternate and they don't even want to give you a rain check. It is so consistent that it gives the appearance if preplanned. read more

Customer service was disappointingly unhelpful. At 37 weeks pregnant, I forgot my WIC card pin three times (pregnancy brain) and was locked out. After paying with my own card over the phone, I called WIC to reset my pin and went back inside, hoping to redo the payment with WIC. The cashier said he couldn't assist with the return and directed me to the 15-items-or-less lane, but the associate there insisted that only a regular register could process it and said she couldn't help me until that 15 or less line was free. Many stores and businesses have policies or guidelines encouraging staff to prioritize assistance for pregnant individuals, especially in situations that may cause undue stress or physical strain. Employees are often trained to make reasonable accommodations, and managers typically aim to ensure that customers with specific needs--like pregnant customers, elderly individuals, or those with disabilities--receive prompt and respectful service. In my case, it would have been considerate and aligned with good service practices for them to arrange assistance, especially given the challenge with the WIC card. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and as though assumptions were made about my situation. The experience left me frustrated, embarrassed, and demoralized. I cried all the way home. read more

This location has been my go-to location for a long time due to the good customer service and some Friday specials. Most recently got some corns to eat for the summer. Bought a dozen oyster in a sealed bag and when I got home I found thar at least 3 of them were dead. It's illegal to sell dead oysters. Also, the crab I bought was filled with at least half pound of water inside the shell. What a rip off! To top it off, when I was at self checkout a few shrimps fell out of the broken package. While the clerk was cleaning it up the she was clearly grumpy and yelled "I m supposed to be on a break and now I am cleaning up your mess!" I found that very rude. Well, it,'s your broken package, your store, your mess, and therefore your job to clean it up. This store used to sell high quality seafood but based on recent experience I don't think I will ever go back again. read more

Someone needs to talk to the old grumpy man in the deli department. He is rude to the other employees and to customers. He has to yell at an employee then tells them To help the customer. I'd never work there while he is there. Plus a customer I'm tried of seeing another employee yelled at before anyone gets help. There are other cheeped sandwich shops around. He should not be present in front of customers. read more

I'm a Safeway guy. I came here though as i was going to the liquor store next door (See my upcoming review for San Thomas Liquor). I think i may be coming to this Lucky's more though. It looks like they have renovated the space to make it a bit more modern. I was pleasantly surprised. I came in to get some ingredients to make pot roast. They have everything i needed. First stop was the produce section. Very well kept, nice and organized, presentation looked photo ready. Next i went to check for some other things i had on the grocery list. I needed AP Flour, and they had a multitude of variety. I'll be coming here for some Semolina flour to hand make pasta soon enough. Next on the list was some soda. I'm a diet pepsi guy personally, but they have all the usual suspects- Coke, et al. Shelves appear to be fully stocked, and there were several workers restocking. The staff is friendly, parking friendlier. I always see the ads that come in via mail, and they have some great deals too. The thing i like about this Lucky is the convenience of parking, and it wasn't crazy here. The Safeway i usually goto has a bunch of stuff missing and parking is a pain. read more

I drove all the way over to the store to buy their sale salmon fillets at 5.99/lb. It is a weekend only special. When I got there I was told they were completely out and that they had only received five 20 pound boxes for the whole weekend I then called another Luckys store and they received the same amount of salmon and were completely out as well. I was told by that store that many of the other stores in the area sold out right away as well. I'm not happy with Lucky for advertising a weekend special just to get us into the store only to find out that they really never intended to sell me any salmon because they only delivered five 10 pound boxes of salmon to the store for sale. read more

Gone way downhill. When they have sales in the meat dept they have the actual product 30% of the time even on the first sale date. The old man in the deli is the rudest loudest employee there. I was at the counter, he had his back to me, "Hello?"..no answer...."Hello?"...no answer.....after the third time he says loudly "I'm busy! I'll be with you in a minute!"...thats him in a nutshell. I walked away and wont go there while hes working. Some of the cashiers should work elsewhere cause they are pretty rude as well. Freebie Friday items are never on stock, even on fridays. Far too many times I've gone there for sale items only to leave with half out of stock. Losts of items are either not priced or mismarked and you have to argue with cashier to fix their mistake. Its just gone so downhill there. read more

Hello I just was at your location at 234 Saratoga Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95050. I was looking for the bone in rib-eye steaks on sale for $6.99Lb I saw the boneless Ribeye Steaks but none of the one featured on your Ad. As I approached the meat manager to ask him where they were he was avoiding eye contact as he walked away I did ask him politely where they were located? He abruptly said the Company did not send him any and if wanted further information to talk to the store manager! He further stated I'm repeating this for the hundredth time. I informed him this was only the first time I had asked and it was only 9:30 in the AM. After checking out my groceries I did ask to speak to the Store Manager and waited for him to come after a few minutes they called for him again. After a few moments we left without seeing him. By the way this is not the first time the Advertised items have not been available it has happened many times before. I work at grocery store and my husband worked at grocery store! Wow I thought what an attitude, especially a department manager! read more

This is for Andrew at the bakery department in Luckys! Thank you so much for creating exactly what I needed for my daughters 5th birthday, birthday cake!! It was absolutely wonderful and beautiful!! Thank you for listening to detail and doing what you did to master that! I ordered a custom cake for Andrew to create and be mastered it. If you look at the pictures below you will see, I showed how I wanted to have a three tiered cake be turned into a half sheet with the same design. I had add a couple props to the cake that went with my Daughters L.O.L. Surprise birthday theme but the rest was all Andrew. The coloring came out perfect. The drop effect in the sides were amazing. The picture shaped into an oval with the framed piping AMAZING! & that sprinkle rim around the bottom I loved it! Details for inside the cake: white cake w/fresh cut strawberries & custard. I usually go to this Albertsons...... er, I mean Lucky, because it's on the way home. Also, Safeway doesn't carry Alhambra water and they do. Yes, I know it's expensive to buy those 2 1/2 gallon dispensers. But really, do you feel safe drinking tap water (even though it's filtered) from Silicon Valley? You're talking about the land of electronics where lead is abundant and probably not disposed of properly. Just my ASSUMPTION. Anyway.......... I like this Albertsons, dang it..... I mean Lucky..... because it's usually pretty clean, the selection of produce and baked goods is fresh, there's an abundance of parking, and the service is awesome! I think the only thing I don't like about this location is that those voter registration type of people seem to always be there when I go there. I try to trick them sometimes by saying I'm not a voter, then all of a sudden they want me to register! Then, I come a different time and I say I'm already registered, all of a sudden they want me to vote for proposition 2.38 or something! Argh! And don't even get me started on the girl scouts! Hmmm, let's see.... $4.50 for your box of cookies and 2 for $4 inside the store you're standing in front of...... hmm...... tough choice. P.S. Anybody wanna buy some Samoas or Thin Mints? I have a lot of them......... read more

I generally like this Lucky's. Good prices, a little cramped. But today I walk in and I hear yelling. I am wondering what's going on. It seems a loud mouth employee in the deli section is complaining about Democrats. The employees look like they are keeping away from him. Kinda inappropriate. Then he says "f**cling democrats", blah blah blah. Its loud. It sounds like a 1 person argument. People notice, employees look like they dont know what to do. I still can hear him in frozen section. I mention to the person handling self check out if this is normal. He says that guy? Yeah! He kinda shrugged it off. I don't really mind a person having a political person, but keep the swearing and attitude at home. People don't want to hear that when shopping. read more
