It's funny how they changed the name from Iziks to Iziks and Steve's... I guess to hide some of the bad reviews huh? Haha! Went in for a haircut twice; first time was a nice guy meanwhile the rest of the staff was staring me out because I apparently didn't blend in to their liking. Second time I went the guy said "WERE EATING!" And the rest of them again kept staring me out. Came back 20 minutes later and the main guy flat out cut my hair and had a nasty attitude after I asked for a high skin fade. Kept speaking in his language saying "high skin fade" in between sentences while cutting my hair; this prompted his staff to laugh at me the entire time. 'I would recommend this place if you're looking for a faddish haircut and ready to dive into some club in the city as a 20 something. Apparently that's the clientele this place loves considering the techno music on full blast. The picture of all five of you posing is a bit like the clientele you admire: in vain! Haha thank god I moved and don't ever have to succumb myself to this place. Update he's trying to defend himself by saying this review is inaccurate, but I have a very good memory. Sorry pal!

Did not touch top of head. Was charged FULL price for haircut. I have had many shaved and this was maybe the worse. Semi warm towel, no prep and the shave actually hurt. I'm not saying the razor was dirty by any means but with combined not sharp, barely any cream it was painful. I could not wait for it to be over. The whole thing felt very rushed. I can shave myself and the point of going to get a shave is the pampering relaxation. This was not it. I would have given a 2 but the guys in shop were nice. There was a line but Johnny, who I believe is the owner was quick and friendly to his other patrons. I have a cranky 2 year old and a rambunctious 5 year old but he was able to give them quick, effective short cuts. Without even going into detail, he just asked them if I wanted it short and he went straight to work. $25/each for a kids cut for less than 30 minutes is not bad. Previous barbers are afraid to go very short which makes me need to go in every 2 weeks. He went exactly the amount I was looking for and we won't be back for another 3 weeks. FYI you don't come here for the ambiance. You come for a straight shooter, great service and skills. The price is not bad either. I'll be coming back with my boys.

Also they sell ICE. Never bought one bc I'm broke all the time but hey, while Jon is cutting that beautiful hair, feel free to look at the chains out of the corner of your eye. Also, for all your liberal kids, this guy is very sanitary too. Employees all wear masks but the customer chooses. F*ck Cuomo. Also, it's not your everyday casual barbershop lol. This place maddd bougee. Plus apparently a few celebs get their hair cut there. That probably means something . Keep doing what y'all r doing. Nice job Jon. If I could change one thing, I'd probably change the spelling to Johnny bc it bothers me, but hey.. it's your name not mine.
