I always wanted to get a HD but never did until now- I have always ridden or own a bike since I was a kid and I am now 64... I had a dual sport and recently moved and do not use my dual sport bike off road. I happen to say one day let me go look and see what kind of bikes they have without knowing they have H/D bikes there- The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I even left my pink slip at home because I didn't want to buy but just look. Well, they have a good selection of bikes there all are very well kept and clean. I saw two that I liked and ended up test riding both. Lee Ann was my sales person and very helpful. I happen to like the 2007 Heritage Soft tail and the price was good. The bike rode nice but I notice the rear tire was little more worn that what I like it to be. I told the manager that and he was willing to work with me. Well I took that bike home and now I am that cool 64 year old with a cool bike.. I recommend anyone to check this place first before you head over to the bigger dealers. You never know. They don't keep any bikes outside so I never knew what that place had until I stopped in. I would go back and second bike but I need to get my wife to keep up a second job at night. read more

This company replied with intent! However post sale trying to get any information on the bike they sold me seems impossible. When I went in person to go look at the bike i realized they tried to sell it with a 2005 tire in 2022. That should have been the first red flag. When I brought it up they said oh well it has tread. Yeah. No. Tires decay overtime that tire was stiff as nails. I still proceeded to PAY for a new tire even though I PAID the pre sale inspection "every used bike gets" word for word. After calling and talking with the sales rep I got "it's a 17 year old bike and you brought a warranty" that's not an excuse to not have documentation of your "inspection" it's to have your customers have faith in your work. And so far you've done nothing but disappoint and add to the shady look of your business. Should this problem be addressed I'd be more than happy to adjust this review. Good price, fast response when looking to purchase, excellent accounting representative. Horrible Customer service and shady record management. read more

Do not buy motorbike from this place If your from out of town. Requested paperwork showing 78 point inspection. Sales rep said they aren't a dealer and don't have paperwork regarding inspection. Bike was delivered with leaking check valve/rotted out O ring. Dealer tried to blame it on shipper. Oil was black, still had original spark plugs. Grease zerk was broken. Front wheel dinged. Worn out brake pads/needed new pads all the way around. Fuel tank full of debris. Needed to clean out/re-seal. Dealer failed to put bikes security in transport mode so battery was drained when I received bike/would not start. I could keep going Was also charged for title work. They did nothing. I tried calling to have a motorcycle worked on. The mechanic was not only rude but hung up on me and said that he didn't work on 2005 Harley Davidsons. I called back asked to speak to the manager Matthew Johnson who was just as rude and did not listen to anything I said. When I asked if he had a supervisor I was told no. I had work done before and was pleased. I told everyone about the great service too. I will never give this location my business again. I am so mad about this and the website doesn't even have a way to complain. If you are dealing with this place of business beware. read more

I've been looking for a sport bike for a few months now and came across what I thought was "the bike" this shop had listed! I was told by a sales rep named Tyler that they had this bike in stock ready for pick up. That was in fact a lie.... I drove 2.5hrs from North Austin to Houston to find out they not only didn't have the bike I was interested in but had nothing even remotely close in comparison. I was so excited about going to Lucky Penny and exploring their inventory, which we did on a Friday evening. Immediately found one and told the sales person that I would get pictures of my trade in to her on Saturday morning. Before we left, the sales person told us not to come on Saturday to test drive because it was crazy there and they only had one sales person, thought that was a little strange but abided the request. I did send the pictures of my trade in first thing Saturday morning as I promised her I would, which showed my sincere interest in purchasing the bike. After not hearing from the sales person all day long when she told me she would get back to me right away on a trade-in value, I finally sent an email to the the website around 5:00 pm and within 15 minutes finally got a callback from her. She had sold the bike. OK, I understand that things happen, although I would have handled the situation differently. I felt like she had an opportunity to make it right by exploring inventory across the board periodically, which she told me that she would, but I never heard back from her. That was a month and a half ago, still haven't heard back. I ended up getting a better bike at Mancuso Central where I felt like I was treated like a valued customer, which I clearly did not feel at Lucky Penny. I was disappointed that Lucky Penny sold the bike I was interested in, but beside the point, I was even more disappointed when they didn't try to make the situation right. These guys are great. I filled out a simple credit inquiry on their website to see what bikes would be available with my credit and in my price range. At 9:00 am the following morning their guy Tyler called me. By 11:00am I was in their showroom. By 11:30 I had selected my dream bike. By 2:30 I was riding it home. Painless. read more

Customer service was wonderful; they had me out with my first bike the same day I walked in and delivered the next. The 78-point inspection they do obviously is to spice up the deal, because I had my bike in the shop the second day I rode. Used motorcycles are bound to give problems, but I went with Lucky Penny to avoid these things and I'm now paying $1000 in maintenance on top of my monthly payments. I won't go into details with everything needed, but I need exactly what I thought would be corrected in the inspection. Great selection of very well kept used bikes. Ivan took the time to walk me through the whole process and was prompt on answering all the questions and text messages I had, and I had a lot! Once my bike was ready for pick up Ivan showed me all the features and controls on the bike. The bike itself is beautiful and runs and handles great. **Summary: Lacking customer service. No communication. If you want something done, be aware you will have to wait. They claim you may cancel warranty at any time, but it has taken me over 4 months. When I was purchasing my motorcycle, the financial manager assured me I would be able to cancel my warranty at any time. For over 4 MONTHS, I've been trying to cancel my warranty with Lucky Penny Cycles. By this point, I've been playing "phone tag" with the financial manager (Mary). I've also spoken to LeAnne, Matt, Richard, and their front of house employees. Each time I've gotten either excuses including, "the financial manager is not in the office" or "can I please take a message" or "we are looking into it, we will call you back". Both LeAnne and Mary have assured me they will give me call backs within the same day but never have. I have not gotten any emails, calls, or updates of any kind. There has been no communication from their end. I've called every week to almost everyday and there has been no progress whatsoever. I am very disappointed in this establishment.
