No love on Valentines Day 2021. The woman cut me and then laughed at her making me bleed and again giggled after putting pure alcohol on the wound and causing me to wince and say ouch. She was unable to evenly cover my entire nail, and was insisting in order to fix her poor work I would have to pay $20 per nail. Horrible quality work. I've been here twice now and although I think the people and service is good both times I've come here I've been disappointed by the results. Both times I got a regular manicure and the nail polish straight up peeled right off within two days (not chipping-- peeled). The second time I went here I went to get acrylics removed and oh my gosh they hurt my fingers so bad. My nail beds were stinging for a week because of where they'd broken the nail. Make sure you have an appointment, or you'll realize quickly you've showed up "unannounced". Once in, make sure you're aware of all the add ons. Ask for a price before they start. If they show you a pedicure menu, you don't have to pick one. Those are all up-sized options. The basic isn't listed on that card. If you don't ask how much... the end bill may shock you. People come and go in the house from upstairs, one helps a customer and leaves again. Not easy to relax, but after $100 for dip-mani and shellac pedi, I'm thinking twice about paying them where the same amount can get me a spa treatment. read more

I was there this past August visiting my mom who lives in the area and my best friend who came up from NYC and we wanted to get pampered. My mom had never had a pedicure! The staff at Lucky Nails was super accommodating when it came to scheduling three pedicures at once. Once we found the place (don't trust your GPS) we picked out our colors and were treated to a true spa experience complete with hot stone massage. Everything from the chairs to the instruments was scrupulously clean and the techs were very careful and respectful with my mom who skipped the leg massage due to medical issues. After Khen left, this place went down hill. This was my favorite place to go to and so close to my house. I will never step foot in there again after my last experience i did not even finish my nails and walked out.... the new guy was SO rude and was talking about me in his language and yelling. I went there yesterday for a pedicure and shellac manicure. The place was so clean, sterilized tools and all! So many different colors to choose from especially shellac colors which is a huge bonus! Lori did my pedicure and it was one of the best pedicures that I have gotten. The massage was amazing! My manicure was done so nicely! BEWARE!!!!! The last 3 times I've gotten my nails done I've gone to Lucky Nails. I was happy with them until today. When the tech took the nail polish off my thumb there was a dark green discoloration. I asked what it was. The tech said I must have bumped it. I said no and asked if it was an infection. She spoke to a co-worker in another language but I did understand one word... fungal. I asked if I should not polish the nail. She said I would be fine. While in the shop I googled nail infection. It didn't seem fine so I asked again if I should be doing something about it. The shop owner came over and said no and said I should pick a darker color to cover up the green. I paid and left. On my way home I stopped at the pharmacy and was told to call my primary doctor ASAP because it can be very dangerous and I need to be put on antibiotics right away. I called the shop back to let them know and they hung up on me! Needless to say I will never go read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! My mother has been there multiple times and has just found out that she contracted a finger fungus from their tools. And they told her it was nothing. After going to the doctors, she found out she has to be put on antibiotics immediately due to the severity of the infection. If that doesn't put you off then I don't know what will. Second, I went today for a mani pedi and I was told to just pick a finger color and they would match it to my toes. They picked a color that was practically clear and did not match. I asked if I could change it because I did not like it and was told that I would be charged if I changed the color. After explaining that it didn't match the man doing my toes told me that if I didn't like it the first time I would be charged for a second time, putting all the blame on me. I didn't even choose the color. If I could put negative stars I would. Awful costumer service, gross environment, and expensive. Not worth it at all. I will never go back. read more

I went to get a pedicure with my sister and first off the place is so crowded and small that when I opened the door I literally hit another lady that was waiting in line to sign in. The American redhead who did my pedicure was clearly NOT a certified nail tech whatsoever and ended up cutting my big toe when she was trimming the cuticle. Even worse, the poor woman that was getting a pedi next to me was cut pretty badly too and was bleeding so much that they couldn't even put nail polish on it because it was so bad. My sister had who I'm assuming was the owner and her pedi was actually decent which I'm guessing is mostly due to the fact that she had a CERTIFIED nail tech do it. Ugh. Oh I also was STILL soaking by the time my sister was totally done because the girl doing mine couldn't put the gel polish on. Yup. I had to wait for another nail tech to finish with another customer. I'm actually glad the redhead didn't put the gel polish on because it probably would have been so bad. She should NOT be allowed near customers. I am so disappointed and will NOT be going back to this joke of an establishment. I like to support local businesses but I'm sorry this was just an awful experience for me. read more

Carol L, I'm sorry you were unhappy with your service, we at Lucky nails and spa, take clients complaints and feelings seriously. We tried to accommodate you to the best of our abilities. There was miscommunication when you came in due to the fact you and your husband was agitated, when we looked at your toe we did not see any issues or swelling of any sort, that is the reason why we took a photo, that way if you so wish to do so you could visit a doctor thru our insurance and they would cover the cost for you, but because you was unhappy/ agitated we offered to give you a full refund & payed for your co-pay as well. Also before we performed service you seemed agitated and you did not disclose to us that you had any medical conditions that we had to be aware of until after when you came back, we did not know you had swelling and infection in both you knees that could be a cause of why you felt discomfort in certain areas that had nothing to do with your service, When you left here we asked you how was your service for that day, you said you was pleased with it intill we seen you come back the next day and you wanted your money back. The only issue that you responded with is that you wish you chose a different color for your self after it was applied, we offered to change the color for you but you said no because according to you it was you mistake for choosing that specific color even tho we said we had no issue with us taking the current color off for another. Also the employee who did you nail has very good experience and during the service of that day you did not inform nor did we see any injuries during the service or afterwards. We apologized at the time that you felt you had an bad experience but we did everything to our abilities to ensure a comfortable and safe experience. I hope in the future you will inform any future places of your medical needs or issues before they perform any service on you for your safety. Thank you. read more

I would like to warn anyone who is considering a pedicure at Lucky Nails. The employee who did my pedi was slow and did not seem very skilled at all but, worst of all, she used the cuticle clippers in the area between the side of my big toenail and the skin and cut it, causing it to bleed. It hurt! The bleeding stopped but when I got home the area was very sensitive and the next day the area was very red and swollen. I went to the doctor and he said it was infected. I am now on oral antibiotics and a regimen of soaking the foot four times a day. I informed the manager of the shop and went to talk to her. She looked at my red and swollen toe and kept stating that it was "nothing". There was no apology. I got my money back and can only hope the infection clears up soon. So, watch out. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

awful experience, my granddaughter and I had a pamper day. she got the acrylic with tips. 2 fell off within 3 days. I called and they argued with me about making an appointment asap saying they were to busy to fix it. What? she went in 3 days later and now 2 were off. Kelly fixed 1 and said they didn't have time to do the other! So I called and of course she wanted to argue with me about me wanting her to have a new full set as I felt they would continue to fall off. I was assured that she would get a full set No Charge. Took a week for her to go back and now she had 7 that fell off and they charged her full price for a full set. Then I find out it was a different girl checking her out and not the one I talked to when I made the 3rd appointment. I call and she tells me she would never say there was no charge! I ask for a manager and she told me she was so I asked the owner call me and I also sent an email. Never heard from anyone. Never will we ever go back there again and have them take my money twice for there poor work. Take your business elsewhere read more
