DO NOT COME HERE!! SO GROSS! I have been to Angel Nails many times in the past to get my nails done. This last time I went in to get my nails done for prom. It was filthy! Nothing was wiped down, the chairs looked like they had never been cleaned, the floor was disgusting, and when I sat down at the desk, there were old nail clippings and dust from the drill. The person doing my nails was also quite dirty and not in professional attire. She was in pajama pants and a tiny shirt. Also, she smelled like she had not showered in days. After I got my nails done, they were not what I wanted, but I could look past that. Now, 3 days later, my nails, which are gel, are chipping after spending $108 on them. Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I will not be coming here again, nor will I recommend them to anyone! read more

I made an appointment for later on the same day. Nina did my gel pedicure first and then my gel nails. She did an excellent job! Measured each nail to make sure they were the same length. It was a nice salon with comfortable pedicure chairs. No fancy massage chairs but very comfy chairs! I got a powder manicure and normal pedicure done at Angel Nails 17 days ago and I had to come back and leave a review. The proof is in the pudding: this far into a powder manicure, I usually have at least a minor chip in it or a nail that is raising up a little at the base but this manicure is still perfect. You can see how much it has grown out, and not a scratch or a lifted section in sight. Great work! read more

I was recently in town for a wedding and decided to try Angel nails to get a french manicure, I was upsold to a shellac and David gaurenteed that my color would be pristine for far longer than a normal gel polish. 3 days later and my nails have yellowed terribly and it looks like a used cigarette filter. It looks absolutely terrible. And when David was done he didnt cross chwck the lengths so some of my nails were so much longer than the others, I had to ask him to fix them amd there were other small issues too. And PS I am not a smoker! There nothing I've done to make that happen! read more

Just left with my friend and the experience was terrible. We were told a 25 minute wait, and then after an hour they finally started and rushed the entire time. The nail technician (owner?) made 4 of my friend's fingers bleed (bad) and did a terrible job. David started my gel manicure where he barely cleaned up around my nails/cuticles, never asked if i wanted them cut down or anything about shape, and nicked my thumb (no apology or acknowledgement). The woman that did my friends nails then painted mine and she did not do a good job on them, doubt they will last the expected 2 weeks. If you want rushed service, prices that are standard, and potential bleeding/infection then absolutely head here, otherwise, id suggest looking elsewhere as there are plenty in/around windham. read more

TERRIBLE, NO GOOD, AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! My daughters (19 & 14) and Niece (16) were looking for a fun afternoon activity on a rainy day. That is not what they got; The owner was rude and condescending to my oldest. She agreed to a design that was clearly above her limited abilities and when my daughter asked to have them corrected she responded with "what do you expect from me, I'm freehanding this" - completely unprofessional. The young man who was working on my other daughter and niece ( AT THE SAME TIME) is a whole other story. In fact, we're going to contact the ME board of Health as its concerning. He kept getting up and leaving the two of them and doing "something" in the other room. At one point he spit a pill into a water bottle on his table. He cut both girls fingers, wiping my daughters blood off with his bare hand. He made the comment "sometimes I'm a good boy & sometimes I'm a bad boy, today I'm a very bad boy" to my niece when he cut her finger. All three nails are poorly done, lumpy and partially unfinished. When they arrived home and let us know what happened I called immediately & spoke with the owner. She initially resisted hearing me out, but then apologized for her employee's actions. She offered me $30 off the $130 bill, and I responded that she should be refunding me in full. She did not, she credited me $60 two days later. This isn't about the money, I'm more concerned about what exactly was going on with her employee. This isn't safe/sanitary behavior and I don't want anyone else getting hurt or worse! read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Unhygienic. No santising or sterilising of equipment by the staff member. Same utensils used on me as were used on the customer sitting next to me and in a COVID environment! Cut into my cuticle and is now infected. Appalling. A health hazard waiting to happen. Spoke in their native tongue and were clearly making fun of me. Totally unprofessional. Terrible service. Had to wait 15 minutes. Clearly overbooked. NOT OBSERVING COVID SAFE RULES! I have been here 3 times. The first time I got a full set of acrylics and a gel pedicure. The technician was a bit rough and my pedicure was rushed. Otherwise, it was adequate. The next time I had a pedicure and a fill. Again, the technician was quite rough and my toes were left with dirt under the nails. On my 3rd visit I had an acrylic fill. The technician filed a hole to the point of bleeding on one of my nails and I had drill burns on 6 out of 10 nails. Never again read more

This is a salon that cares! I've been numerous times for manis, pedis, and brow waxing and every time has been perfect! Great prices and the building is very clean! Every employee is very friendly and knows their trade. David and the girls really care about their clients and providing excellent service! This is a must visit in the Lakes Region! David did my nails fit over a year. I needed to go every two weeks, and usually had an issue before that time. I didn't know any better that they could be done in a longer lasting fashion. The final decision to leave permanently was when David Insulted me and got very cranky in front of other customers. I now go to arts nails in Windham and Tom doesn't excellent job. I do not have nail damage for at least three weeks and four weeks would be possible but you can see where they grow out. I'm so happy I switched! read more

The only place in the area I can go to over and over again and know I will leave with a perfect manicure each time. They are a bit slower and tend to run a little behind schedule, but it is fine with me because they take their time and make sure each nail is perfect before moving on. David and his wife are some of the kindest, funniest people I have had the pleasure to meet and make you feel comfortable, welcome, and listen to what you want and will fix anything you're not absolutely happy with. Let me first say that I never post on Yelp but felt compelled to do so. I started going to this salon this past summer as the person I used for the past 10 years decided to retire. I was told that David was the only person there that did acrylic nails so i did not have a choice of technicians. Although he seemed to know what he was doing when I first started going there it became apparent that his performance was more about speed then precision. My first visit he burnt my cuticles with his drill several times, never used a nipper on my cuticles and most importantly, never apologized when I left with three bleeding fingers. At my last, and I mean last visit, I asked him very nicely to fix or smooth something that he obviously missed. He insulted me for asking by saying, "who do you think you are an expert"? Let me say that as someone who has had acrylic nails for over 30 years, I would say I know who is a good technician and who is a bad one is and he certainly is the worst I have ever had. Wise up people of Raymond, no one should be treated like I was that day. I don't care what his problem was. He was insulting and dismissive and from what I have observed while sitting there, they (he and his wife) both put on a show about caring about their customers while they roll their eyes behind your back. Took my 9 year old daughter (and myself) for a treat--mani/pedi. The pedi was great, as was the mani--at the time. 6 hours (!) later we BOTH had large chips of polish gone on our nails. Applied clear coat that night, but chipping continued. 48 hours after mani couldn't tell it had been done PROFESSIONALLY. Went back to salon to show them and complain, they said it was OUR fault, we must have done something wrong. Offered a "re-do" but why bother if it will just wear off so soon? I had the worst nail experience ever at this salon. I went for a dip manicure. The lady who did it, did a terrible job. She cut my nails all crooked, didn't place a bottom clear dip coat, had to re-do some of her own work before I even left the salon, etc. I tried to be respectful and bite my tongue, but when she asked me if I liked them, I replied "this is one of the worst dips I have ever received." I still paid in full and left her a tip for her efforts. I wanted to see how well my nails would hold up. Well, 6 hours later they started chipping and catching on EVERYTHING. Chunks of my nails were breaking off with the dip. I went back to next day and explained my situation nicely, and David (the owner) stated, "I will take off your nails and you can go somewhere else. I don't need customers like you. I'll even pay you back your money." Baffled I replied, "I didn't want to lose your business, I just wanted to get my nails fixed." Again, he stated, "You go elsewhere. I don't need people like you here. She worked very hard on your nails and there is nothing wrong with them!" What a terrible solution to a problem. Walked in around noon for a pedicure. Everyone was eating lunch but took me right away any way. Good color selection! I believe Vanny did my nails. She was very conversational which I loved. Sometimes at places, the artists don't speak one word to you. She was very gentle, took her time and did a wonderful job. I will definitely be returning and have this be my "go-to" salon. read more
