I scheduled an appointment about 3 weeks out to have my eyebrows done and a tattoo, with IRIS ARELLANO I received my quote made my deposit and everything was scheduled. The day before I told the artist I wasn't getting the tattoo because my financial situation changed but I still wanted my eyebrows done so l was still coming. At about 15 minutes before my appointment I get a message from my artist that shes running 30 minutes late, I said fine I was nearly there so I would wait. About 40 minutes after my session was to start I get another message that they are handling personal matters and running even later. At this point they would be one hour past the start time of our appointment, then i notified her that I needed to leave by a specific time. They had more than enough to complete the services from the time my appointment was supposed to start, but no longer possible with them being delayed so much. At this point I asked for a refund and said I would schedule at a later time and they refused to refund me even-though I had nothing to do with the services not being provided. I was there, early to my appointment and the artist was very unprofessional by being so late handling personal matter and refusing to give me a refund. I am a teacher that will be off work all summer, l cant afford to be giving away free money. This was handled very poorly. read more

I can't recommend this tattoo studio. I worked with an artist here who had done a larger piece on me earlier, so I knew and trusted their work. Now, speaking with other tattoo artists, I believe that this artist was in over their head, didn't ask for help, and left me with a half finished tattoo, which they then told me to GET LASER REMOVED. This artist did their apprenticeship at Lucky Kat and is now a fully employed artist at Lucky Kat. I approached the artist asking for a partial refund on the deposits ($200 per session for 4 sessions), but the artist insulted me and blamed poor aftercare for the reason they had to go over and over and over again on the same spot. I also reached out to Cesar, the owner of Lucky Kat. He said he would get back to me, and never responded. The first picture is after 4 sessions, each around 2-3 hours long. The second picture is after one 2 hour session with a different artist. The 4 sessions I had done at Lucky Kat were painful, long, and slow. The artist worked with me to try different tattooing positions, but in the end, they were not skilled enough (either with purple ink, which my second artist said is challenging) or with this area of skin (which the second artist said can be tough). The long and the short of it is, the artist I went to here was not experienced enough to do this piece, and either didn't know they weren't experienced enough (which is a training issue, and since this artist APPRENTICED at Lucky Kat that tells you about their quality), or they were too arrogant to admit they couldn't finish the tattoo. My other issue is that the owner ignored me. I spent over $1,000 on a half finished tattoo because I had a misguided trust in this artist and this studio. Learn from me, and avoid this place at all costs. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Cesar Romero and have watched him grow his business over the last 10 years. Not only is he a a phenomenal Tatoo artist, but his apprenticeship program has attracted and produced some amazing artists as well. He has (2) studios and both are exceptionally clean, well staffed, and have ample parking. I recommend booking an appointment in advance as with anyone in high demand, he keeps extremely busy. Just can't wrap my head around this situation. Went in a told them it was my favorite tattoo and to detail/ darken what was there. Completely jacked up . Told them I could wait and wanted someone with hood experience. After 450$ later of basically nothing the manager was helpful, until I called and they said skeemer ..,."the guy who messed it up" would be taking care of me! Are you serious!!! Lol . So so sad with how my tattoo turned out and the lack of response following it healing. Of course, getting a tattoo is a HUGE risk, which I decided to take, but in this instance i couldn't be more upset. I went in with a group of friends, and I was the last to go because I wanted to see theirs first to make sure i trusted the artist. My friend's turned out BEAUTIFULLY, stunning fine line details that healed perfectly. Yet mine blew out ??? I know it comes down to skin sensitivity and how deep the needle goes. This is not my first tattoo, and i have never had any skin sensitivity issues. Which leaves it to the artist... very perplexed by this and SO disappointed. read more

Over the years I have been getting tatted by Skeemer and he has done a phenomenal job on all my tats. He has done a cover up as well as original designs that encompass the entirety of my arms and upper back. I have recommended him to friends and family. My friend had been here before and told me about it. We both got tattoos and both had a great experience! I got the logo of one of my favorite bands Bayside tattooed. Ricardo did my tattoo, and he did an amazing job! He was so precise, and after a few months it healed perfectly and doesn't even need to be touched up. My friend recommended me to this place. I did my first tattoo here and I guess I shouldn't trust the tattoo artist before I haven't done any research about this place. It was one simple sun tattoo and he messed up. I was so upset and pissed. This tattoo is really important to me because I wanted to do it for years. The people here are great and professional however I've had the worst experiences so far. I wasn't able to complete my tattoo on my first set due to some back problems so I decided to schedule a second session to complete it but before the day of my appointment. I got a message to reschedule my appointment and Since then I've been trying to get a hold of my tattoo artist but seems like it's impossible to get a hold of him. My biggest mistake was paying my tattoo artist for a work that's not complete and now I'm just chasing my tattoo artist to finish up my tattoo because none other tattoo artists are willing to finish someone else's work. read more

Once you get inside, the space is super cool!! The people working there were cool too, super laid back, friendly, sociable, and super helpful! I worked mainly with Cruz who is one of my favorite artists I've worked with for sure! Incredibly kind and patient, definitely he kind of guy you'd be ok with hanging out with for a few hours! He was complimenting my tattoo idea, cracking jokes, showing me new music, and also spent so much extra time creating my tattoo! You can just tell he really cares about making sure he goes above and beyond to make the customer happy, and he's really passionate about his work! I ended up spending four hours in the shop total working things out and getting inked up, and even though it ran late, Cruz still took the time to make a finished product that I was stoked about and he was proud of too!
