He decided on the Chicago flag, which was interesting to me because as a child, Chicago wasn't his favorite place but as an adult, he had fallen in love with Chicago. I already have a Chicago flag tattoo, but when I saw the most beautiful rendition that Claudio at Deluxe created for my brother, I knew it was time to restate my love for this city and my brother with matching tattoos. I am on the left (my right outer wrist) and my brother on the right (his left forearm). Can't wait to see how these look when they are completely healed. My brother was a walk in, and he was fortunate enough to get Claudio and my tattoo was a follow up, scheduled appointment two days later. Claudio had my design ready to go when I walked in, no waiting. So kind, gentle and talented.

Cathy was super friendly and immediately put me at ease. She took a look at my septum and was honest about the possibility of needing to repierce if the initial position looked crooked, which I appreciated. It wasn't necessary though because she got it spot on, first try! I felt a little faint from the piercing (though it was quick and didn't hurt at all), and she was so kind and accommodating and clearly equipped to handle it. You can tell she has a lot of experience and the skills to show for it. I love my new septum piercing!

It almost looks like the actual print was scanned and screen printed onto my arm. If you're thinking about getting some work done, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Jessica as your artist. Honestly, all of the artists there had some great examples in their sample books, and I went with Jessica based on some paw prints she had done and posted to social media, but you probably can't go wrong with anyone there. The studio itself was clean and the rooms were private (or at least mine was, as we were the only ones in there). I plan on doing some more in the future, and I already know exactly who I'm going with then. Thanks again Jessica!

I've lived around the area and have gone with others for pieces before Daniel and his wife took over the shop. I like the changes they've made to the place. The shop is easy to get ahold of, you can call, DM them on Instagram, or I think even message them on Facebook. I've called and messaged them on Instagram and the response time for their reply is usually within an hour or two at most. Everyone there is easy to talk to and relaxed. The shop is a clean and calm environment. Daniel is a hilarious human being and will make sure you're confident with the piece before he starts. All of the art on the walls shows off the incredible talent of the team. If you're looking for a piece, check this place out!

I saw two different guys who had been inked by him, and the quality of work was on such an incredibly high level, I literally questioned if their tattoo's were real. Between having the steadiest hands, artistic eye, all his years of experience, there is no place else I will ever go again. He won't rush you or the job, ink you for your money, slap random garbage on your body, or give you anything less than his honest opinion. He is the definition of a true artist and master of his trade. Thankfully I still have room on my body for him to ink. I would challenge any tattoo artist to come close to his level. He exceeded my expectations above and beyond in every way.
