Once he started working at Apocalipsis Tattoo, he said the shop would only honor the agreement if my fiance paid an additional $50 chair fee. He paid it, and then MARVIN began dodging attempts to schedule an appointment. When we asked for a refund, he stopped responding altogether and blocked my fiance on social media. Walking away with $550 of someone's money without delivering any service is theft, plain and simple. This is the kind of artist Apocalipsis Tattoo chooses to employ. If you value your money and your time, avoid working with Marvin Cruz -- and think twice about any shop that allows this kind of behavior from their staff.

There were a couple Jesus jokes, which can't be good. In front of a full room and my friends, this dude with black eyeballs asked me if we had been drinking and told me very loudly that he could smell alcohol (ok, maybe) and I was slurring my words (nope). It's my fault, but he didn't have to make me feel like shit. I feel extremely humiliated. His reasoning is he could lose his license. Still, he could have handled this in a more human way. I will get my piercing done elsewhere.

Tony MELTED absolutely killed it!…read more I've now trusted Tony with two tattoos, and I seriously cannot recommend him enough. He breathed life and ink back into my butterfly tattoo, transforming an older piece into something beautiful again and making it the perfect first part of a memorial half sleeve that means so much to me. The detail, linework, placement, and execution came together better than I could have imagined. Beyond being an incredibly talented artist, Tony makes the whole experience comfortable and chill.
