Now I had no previous knowledge of Razor MD or of George, so naturally I was a little nervous getting a haircut without checking what my fellow Yelpers had to say.. but his confidence really put me at ease. They are a family shop, his uncle and nephew also own the place. George commutes every day from Flushing so you have to commend that kind of dedication. Not only is he super skilled with a pair of scissors, razor, and buzzers, but he is both super efficient and very funny. He reminds of my grandpa's barber, who still cuts to this day over in Queens. Old school, charming, and laid back. We both talked about life, our backgrounds, relationships, you name it. To top it off, he even styled my hair better than I ever could! I had a work dinner to attend to later that evening and to be honest, I didn't even go home to shower as I didn't want to ruin it (plus there was no need as he did a great job cleaning any loose hairs up).
