Hands down, the BEST salon on Long Island! There, I said it. So happy I took a chance on Iris Salon 2+ years ago. I've bounced around a bunch of salons on LI, but always seem to lack the connection with another hair stylist. Thankfully, I found Chris Bosco who has the hands of an angel. She is my go-to for color/cut/style. She always makes me look great and actually LISTENS to me, which is a huge pro in my book. I'm constantly getting compliments on my hair, and I owe it all to her. Love everything about this salon. They use top of the line products, the staff is always friendly and professional, and their services are amazing. Def book your next appointment. You'll come out looking and feeling like a celebrity! read more

I randomly walked into Iris Salon, since the day the girl who usually colors my hair screwed me over as I rang her doorbell and was calling her on the day of my appointment, while not answering my call or the door.. How unprofessional!!! I was upset and needed my hair colored. I have bleach blonde hair and had to get my roots done with a double process. I came to Iris Salon, randomly looking for a place to go, and knowing the salon from driving by since it's in my neighborhood.. I was nicely greeted as I walked in. The salon was beautiful, all the stations spread out, nice and roomy and not all bunched together. Even though I was a walk-in they quickly paired me with a stylist that was about to be available in just a few minutes. I sat and waited on the couch in the waiting area. Everything looked so nice and clean. Jeannie came over to me and brought me over to her station. She was super friendly, asked me about my hair and color and how I've gotten it done in the past. She made sure I was comfortable and that everything was going smoothly. I have a LOT of hair and it takes a LOT of time. She was so easy to talk to and made me feel right at home. Even when I was waiting under the dryer she kept coming over to check on me. She kept touching up my hair to make sure everything was going to come out perfect. She helped wash my hair, which I thought was cool, since some stylists don't like to get their hands wet. The whole experience was great!! I was very, very happy! Iris Salon was wonderful, Jeannie was wonderful, the girls who wash hair and assist were wonderful, super friendly, who I was talking to while I waited to get one more wash before I was done. I will definitively be returning to Iris for my next color. I absolutely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new place to go! Good job ladies! You really won me over!! And thanks again Jeannie, you're terrific! Alicia read more

It seems shallow, and we all have bigger problems to deal with - but when your hair looks awful it really can bring you down. But everything changed for the better the day I entered Iris Salon!!! Wow! What a fantastic day for me, seriously. Iris's beautiful smile lights up the entire establishment! Jeannie at the desk greets everyone warmly, and makes you feel welcomed. They keep to their appointment times, which shows they respect your time and patronage. The salon is clean, uncluttered and stylish! But here is the happiest part to that day - I met June. She evened out the back of my hair, created a warm honey color base to soften my look, and worked with me on specifics for outgrowing a hair "malfunction", without looking like I had a mullet throughout the transition. Eventually with June's vision and her tiny trims and snips as needed, my hair has grown to a little past my shoulders, She uses golden blonde highlights to frame my face. I can blow it out pin straight, or wear it wild and curly. Versatility in styling is another element if a truly great haircut, by a gifted hairdresser. Thank you Iris and team for all you do!!!! You can strut out of Iris' feeling confident your hair looks amazing! read more

Iris Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Seaford, New York

They are a rip off. I was quoted one price by Stella and charged $60.00 more than the price we agreed on (after we spoke the week before). The stylist had an attitude when doing my hair and when I approached her about the cost descripency she said she quoted me a price she could not honor. She could have told me before she touched my hair. Second time that they surprised me with a very different amount than I expected. No more Iris for me! read more

I love this place & all of the stylists here! The place just has a great aura & is full of talent... the owner Iris is amazing at all that she does! She's the only person that I trust cutting & styling my naturally curly hair. Jeanie is legit great at color. I've always wanted blonde hair but my hair always pulls strong reds; others would have me looking too orange or too ash. Jeanie was perfect! I will never get my hair done at any other salon. This whole place will have you looking & feeling like a million dollars in all $10 bills. Lol! read more

When to Iris for the first time today....LOVED it. Had my hair done by Stella. She was awesome. I highly recommend Iris salon

Great experience LOVED the salon from the colorist to the wash and blow out. Went in after getting a horrible job from another salon which now required a color correction and new balayage and lets just say I'm more than happy with the results! If I could give more stars I would. Work was amazing and it was fair priced!! I had Kim as a colorist and he restored my hair I'm so thankful! read more

The receptionists are very rude and are constantly speaking in Spanish as well as Iris and her assistant. If you are Hispanic they will accept you with open arms and give you the best treatment but if you are not they couldn't care less. This is the most unprofessional salon I have ever been too. Not cool! read more

I only come here because I followed Patty who waxs and tints my eyebrows. She is absolutely amazing. I haven't gotten my hair done simply because I just go to the same place that I always do, but just from observing it seems there clients are always happy. read more
