I like the Decour as it does have a very Japanese theme with samurai swords handcrafted boats for sushi parties and other paraphernalia, though it seems like their space isn't quite big enough for them as they have a lot of their storage overflowing into the main part of the Resturaunt a.k.a. soda boxes and a freeze. As far as Japanese cuisine goes though there for sure the best in town that I've come across. It is worth checking out if you're into Japanese food or in the area and want something other than fast food. It took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready to go. There are several spots to park in the area as it's essentially a strip mall

I couldn't help but be lured next door to Bamboo Sushi Lloyd when I realized the 2 businesses had an adjoining door inside! I opted for a cupbap and a noodle bowl to go which were quickly devoured by my kiddo. Several of us also ordered kimchi jars to take home. Everything was delicious and I will definitely return when in Lloyd next!

This restaurant has delicious food. I subscribe to Gordon Ramsey's philosophy that restaurants…read moreshould do a smaller menu really well, than a large menu in a half-assed way. This restaurant obviously understands this idea. The menu isn't huge, but it's all made with love and care with wholesome ingredients. The Asian food is clean and simple, not oily or greasy and it is packed with flavour!! The service is excellent and everyone is super friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough.

They have a fairly large menu and a lot of options to take food home (frozen pastas, soups, and pizzas). Unfortunately, they did not have a falafel option but I regret not getting the veggie wrap (just veg). I got the pizza which the kids liked. I am kicking myself to this day! I was told their sweet garlic sauce is the best and I bet their veg wrap is good (even though it's basic).

Only things I would change - all the extras available for the steak are extra and they don't tell you that in advance. If I were paying for meals here with my own money I'd be pissed. Also the veal is vile. They don't spice it and obviously just deep fry it without any breading. Avoid the veal. Other than that, everything else is great here. Describing this place as Asian Fusion is a but misleading. By "Asian" they mean Chinese, and by…read more"Fusion" they mean buffet with both traditional Chinese offerings, as well as western food and sushi. The Chinese food is Ok. Some of the western food, onion rings, fries, ribs, etc were not quite Ok, but acceptable for a buffet. They even offer pizza, which looked pretty good although I didn't try it. I don't normally eat buffet sushi for obvious reasons but I did try a few pieces. I'm not actually sure if there was any fish in it, and the rice was very salty, but I survived unscathed. Not really worth the experiment, pretty tasteless. I had two desserts and they were both pretty good, easily the meal highlight. Perhaps its most redeeming features are the Sundae station and chocolate fondue. Infants are free and under 4 are$4, so these items alone make it worth the trip for a young family. I won't be back, but given the broad choices and very reasonable prices, it is worth considering, especially for a young family.

The menu is full of unique creations that you won't find anywhere else. Even if this café were in Edmonton I'd say that the menu is unique. We both had bubble waffle breakfasts. Mine was a combination of a Bennie and a bubble waffle. The eggs were poached very nicely and the hollandaise sauce had some horseradish mixed in. Unfortunately the roast beef was dry despite the sauce. I enjoyed the breakfast but the roast beef was disappointing. I washed it down with my coffee and that coffee was just right. My partner ordered the Breakfast Bubble Sandwich. I was surprised to see that it included potatoes as they don't normally go with waffles. She said it didn't have much flavour and she asked for some surup to help it out. This could be a fine breakfast place with a few tweaks here and there. I still might choose it over some of the other establishments in town as I value unique menu offerings and locally owned business. I heard the server talking to another customer and saying that they were closed last week because of the lack of staff. That's a problem everywhere but it's probably even more challenging here in Lloydminster where heavy industry pays big wages that are hard to compete with. Do I recommend The Diner? I'm not sure if I can recommend it at this time but they have lots of potential if they can iron out a few issues (the same issues that probably effect the other restaurants in town).
