We were heavily influenced to come here, as my friend's family raves about the donair! We came just before a rush, which was lucky for us! They have a fairly large menu and a lot of options to take food home (frozen pastas, soups, and pizzas). Unfortunately, they did not have a falafel option but I regret not getting the veggie wrap (just veg). I got the pizza which the kids liked. I am kicking myself to this day! Went here for lunch almost everyday from Monday-Friday for almost 3 months straight. The food really is that good. Went through virtually the entire menu in that time and honestly there was never a bad meal. Every Tuesday is free chips or cookies day which is a nice touch. The owner BJ is a really nice guy. The staff treat you well. Their cheesecake, cookies, brownies, and carrot cake are all amazing too. Couldn't take a picture because I was starving you know you're in a community driven small business when the owner recognizes you and your order after only one previous purchase. We're from out of town and ALWAYS make a point of stopping in when we're in Lloyd. Everything on the menu is delicious, especially the onion rings with the dill mayo (staff recommended, now patron recommended). My family has a tradition of gloating whenever one of us gets Tasty K's to the others back home. Been going here for years and love the recent updates and expansion of the menu. Tasty K's has low prices but delicious food. This is one of Lloydminster's hidden gems. They offer donairs and subs, made fresh with freshly shaved meat. The whole thing is made from quality ingredients in front of your eyes, and you can't beat the prices. The dining area is spacious. The only downsides is the heat coming off their meat cookers. Ok/fair donair stop. Meat was cut too thin and was dry. The option of a sub sandwich based counter is excellent! Options of hot peppers, olives, no onions, lettuce, tomatoes, extra tzatziki sauce (not enough dill and cucumber ). Staff were super. Overall price a bit high. Stopped in because highly recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint. They are very busy; for a good reason; worth the wait. People in line were salivating and told me they crave Tasty K's. The donair I had was stuffed full of delicious and juicy meat (I selected the regular/spicier option, but milder meat is available). They build the donair in front of you with a huge selection of sauces and toppings. The dill mayo was amazing. Vanilla shake tasted like homemade with real ice cream.
