The salad is an exciting twist on the classic Caesar salad. Beautifully presented with natcho chips, grilled chicken, beans, corn and guacamole topped with monterrey jack cheese. This salad is the best I've had in a very long time. The Black & Blue Burger was the highlight with an exquisitely seasoned burger with just the right amount of blue cheese and sauce on a perfectly grilled, juicy and tender beef patty. Crisp fries and mouthwatering gravy where perfect compliments. We will be back!

The Service is really good too - they're attentive without interrupting your dining experience too much. Also oddly enough I was in Lloyd during the week for almost 3 months straight and yet the 2nd and 3rd times I came there they still recognized who I was.

Only things I would change - all the extras available for the steak are extra and they don't tell you that in advance. If I were paying for meals here with my own money I'd be pissed. Also the veal is vile. They don't spice it and obviously just deep fry it without any breading. Avoid the veal. Other than that, everything else is great here. Probably the best restaurant in Lloydminster.

My girlfriend and I went there to have a good dinner in order to celebrate. Read previous reviews…read moreand decided to give this place a try and man were we disappointed. The chicken fried rice was basically steamed rice with some steamed veggies and really bland. There was nothin fried about that rice. Ordered Cantonese Chowmien and it came out looking slimy and the texture was squishy and made me want to gag as I tried to eat it. Ordered dry garlic ribs, no taste at all, plain and undercooked. Ordered the Curry Chicken and that was the only dish that had some taste but the curry was watery and the chicken with horrible texture again. Spent around $100 and didn't eat one dish due to them being so unappetizing. Would not recommend to anyone, unless you enjoy plain, tasteless food. Spring rolls were okay and the only thing we actually finished. everything else we left, practically untouched.

I like the Decour as it does have a very Japanese theme with samurai swords handcrafted boats for sushi parties and other paraphernalia, though it seems like their space isn't quite big enough for them as they have a lot of their storage overflowing into the main part of the Resturaunt a.k.a. soda boxes and a freeze. As far as Japanese cuisine goes though there for sure the best in town that I've come across. It is worth checking out if you're into Japanese food or in the area and want something other than fast food. It took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready to go. There are several spots to park in the area as it's essentially a strip mall

The menu is full of unique creations that you won't find anywhere else. Even if this café were in Edmonton I'd say that the menu is unique. We both had bubble waffle breakfasts. Mine was a combination of a Bennie and a bubble waffle. The eggs were poached very nicely and the hollandaise sauce had some horseradish mixed in. Unfortunately the roast beef was dry despite the sauce. I enjoyed the breakfast but the roast beef was disappointing. I washed it down with my coffee and that coffee was just right. My partner ordered the Breakfast Bubble Sandwich. I was surprised to see that it included potatoes as they don't normally go with waffles. She said it didn't have much flavour and she asked for some surup to help it out. This could be a fine breakfast place with a few tweaks here and there. I still might choose it over some of the other establishments in town as I value unique menu offerings and locally owned business. I heard the server talking to another customer and saying that they were closed last week because of the lack of staff. That's a problem everywhere but it's probably even more challenging here in Lloydminster where heavy industry pays big wages that are hard to compete with. Do I recommend The Diner? I'm not sure if I can recommend it at this time but they have lots of potential if they can iron out a few issues (the same issues that probably effect the other restaurants in town).
