In addition to books there are magazines, comic books, calendars, and puzzles. The owner is very nice and he's almost always the person working there. Like myself, he's a big history fan, and has given me several good suggestions when I've been looking for a new book. I would expect him to know a lot about books, but when I mention a title, he speaks about it like he's read it. He probably has. I've been buying books here for years. Typically I use Amazon to research titles and reviews, and then go to this store to buy it. It's rare that there isn't a copy on hand, and if not they will have it there quickly. These small bookstores are need to be supported.

The last couple times I've gotten new paints that turned out to be excellent. I like that they have 5 different brands on hand and have a plan to add another brand. Long ago I signed up for their in house rewards program and I've used it that last several times I've gone in. The selection of games is very good. My daughter loved the Squishables. There's a big room with lots of tables where games are being played. Every staff member I've ever talked to was great and always helpful.

There's a TON of inventory in the back room waiting to be organized and put out, but I get that takes a while. It didn't feel the most shopper-ready yet. My brother found some things he was excited about, and I found a few unique books! The owner is so kind and has plans to do DND and game nights as well as music nights with all their space. 3 books was ~$40 so not the most affordable prices, but I'm not super tuned in with what comic books run. I think in a few more months the space will be more visitor-ready with more inventory available to look through!

They are in a new location since our last visit (used to be in Eagan). Per usual, everyone was friendly and helpful. I found a Harriet Tubman comic that I didn't even know existed. I bought the two copies they had. Everything was well organized and easy to peruse both the free and paid comics they have. This space is much smaller than their previous location. Fortunately, everyone was masked, which made us feel more at ease. One of the things I really love about this place, in addition to the fact that it's POC owned, is that I can be an all-out geek and nerd without getting any side eye. Chatting with the staff is fun and I always learn something new. I don't follow the comic world closely, so getting an update and to see the excitement of the person talking is quite infectious. It's probably why I've yet to spend less than $40 when we go there. Whether it's FCBD or not, this is the play for comics, graphic novels, and all kinds of things that you'll not find anywhere else. In the winter, with their leaves gone, it looks like a place you might buy an evil potion from a witch. Fortunately the interior is a much more pleasant experience. They have more books than shelf space. The vast majority are paperbacks, but they do have some hardcovers too. Almost everything I noticed was in extremely good condition. Prices aren't marked on the books. They are based on percentage of the brand new price and possibly factor in condition.I paid under $4 for a paperback biography in pristine condition. I believe they take your books for store credit too. This store was a pleasant surprise and I will be back.

If I wanted to pay FULL PRICE for a book I would have gone to Barnes and Noble not a USED book store!! Don't take your used books there and NEVER EVER buy books from this store, you will get RIPPED OFF!! Even when you have store credit. Another thing, the store was DISGUSTING!! The floors look like they've never been vacuumed, about an inch of dust on the shelves and spider webs all over. They had a candy dish by the register and there were bees INSIDE the candies. EWE!! Needless to say I had to go home, wash my hands and change my clothes because I just felt gross. I had to give them 1 star because it wouldn't let me post without one, but if I could I would give the store NEGATIVE 5 stars.
