I came back home and sought a place that had this on their menu. I was not disappointed! The Chicken Lollipops were full of flavor and very crispy. The Chili Momo took me back Bruges. So tasty. The service was fantastic. My server was very helpful. She helped me figure out what level of spice I wanted. Ended up being a 1.5 on a scale of 1 to 5. Still ended up sweating. The music playing made me feel like I was in a truly authentic Indian Restaurant. It was clean with plenty of seating. I will definitely be back.

The food itself was just OK. I wanted a little bit more from the biryani, and the rice was a little bit mushy. On the upside, the chicken was seasoned very nicely and cooked very nicely. The space is very large and welcoming. It is a lot of food, we got one biryani for two people and still have left over for another meal. Medium spice is relatively good/accurate.

My wife and I had dinner in Santo at Sanjha Indian Cuisine restaurant Hwy 281 & IH20). The only…read morething I can say is that it gets better every time we eat there. Not to mention it is operated by the most wonderful Indian family. Tonight we feasted on Butter Chicken (spicy), Vegetable Biryani (med spicy), and Chicken Palak (medium spicy). The Butter Chicken is chicken cooked in a clay oven and cooked in butter, Indian yogurt, spices, and tomato sauce. Great over basmati or jasmine rice. I ate mine with the Vegetable Biryani. I typically eat chicken or goat biryani but am so glad I went this route. Huge flavor profile with the veggies. My wife's favorite is always Chicken Palak or Saag Paneer. Basically a creamed spinach with chicken or cheese. But that's a wholly inadequate description of a beautiful dish. Vegetable Biryani is Basmati rice cooked with vegetables and spices. These are typically good dishes to try if you're not used to Indian cuisine. We step up our spices a bit. This seems like an expensive meal until you realize we make at least two more meals out of this deliciousness!! We ended our meal with Gulab Jamun (2 pcs) and Kheer. Gulab Jamun is roughly akin to a donut hole sprinkled with a coarse sugar and topped with a simple syrup. Kheer is cooked rice in milk with sugar. Again, another wholly inadequate description. Folks. You are not doing yourself right if you don't give this beautiful, well kept restaurant a chance. It's only one building north of IH20.

Stopped here on a whim looking for a place to eat and trying to avoid fast food. As others have noted, it's a big open space. Decor was very minimal and it seemed like some parts were in the middle of some amount of renovation. Bathrooms could've used a little help but nothing crazy. We had chicken dum biryani, paneer masala, garlic naan and a mango lassi. Prices are a little high but not crazy for 2025. Portions were very large, in particular the biryani which was exceedingly generous. The paneer and naan were above average, the lassi was phenomenal, and the biryani was good but less exceptional. The food came in takeout containers which might be a turn off but it was fine since we had to take half of it home anyway. Service was a little slow but it was an off hour when we were there. Overall the food was very good and worth a stop if you're driving by. Tons of veg options as well. The atmosphere and service are very basic but it didn't bother me. I'm glad we stopped and supported something local and interesting.

The portions are big which is good to save for later considering how filling it is. Cons- It's definitely on the more pricey side and I would go here more often if it was cheaper. The naan is soo expensive. They charge almost $5 for one single piece of garlic naan. My friend goes in to order, I stay in the car so he says the service isn't that great. He told me that the front desk person was on the phone on his airpods while taking the order and he barely talks, just nodding his head. The place is a bit dirty like the floors not being clean. So overall, if you are coming here for the food, I rate it high. If you are coming here for the experience, I rate it low.
