I came in just to get quarters for the machines, and the man working there (who I believe is the manager or owner) was immediately unhelpful and rude. Before I even had a chance to go to my car and grab my laundry, he approached me questioning whether I was going to wash there. I explained I just wanted to get change first so I wouldn't have to carry everything in unnecessarily, but instead of assisting, he made the situation uncomfortable. Shortly after, the quarter machine was turned off, and he acted as if he had no control over it, which didn't seem honest. The interaction felt targeted and unnecessary. I didn't feel welcomed as a customer at all. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Lucky Coin Laundry - Coin machine where I attempted to get change - Laundromat Near Me - Encino, California

Good condition machines. The homeless guys in there were a bit intimidating and i feel bad for the worker who is in there by themselves.

Best laundry service you can ask for Can't go one week without them The staff is amazing and the owners is really nice read more

Just the best fluff and fold ever. People are so nice, always on time.. great pricing.. give them a try, you won't be sorry.

Don't waste your time or money here. They now only accept tokens in exchange for cash -- no card, no coins, just inconvenience. I used to come here solely for the extra-large washers that could handle my comforters and bath mats, but that's no longer worth it. read more

Always amazing service, bring our laundry for their fluff and fold services. highly recommended !!!

I have been going to Lucky for over 20 years. I love the people, always helpful, they do an amazing job with fluff and fold and the prices are reasonable. Keep up the great work and I highly recommend Lucky Laundry read more

Great laundromat! Always clean, machines work well, and the staff is friendly. The fluff and fold service is super convenient and saves me a ton of time -- everything comes back neatly folded and fresh. Fair prices and a smooth experience every time. Highly recommend! So last week I dropped of my laundry, as usual. When I picked up the laundry, I noticed one sock was missing. I didn't worry... So this week I dropped off my lawn, and when I picked it up and started putting things away, there was the other sock. That's how well they know me. They should... I've been using them since 2017 and have no plans on changing. Very amazing! read more

Lucky Coin Laundry - Reunited and it feels so good! - Laundromat Near Me - Encino, California

The nice lady Darlene was very understanding when I told her that my clothes in the washer smelled like rotten eggs when I opened the door!!! I guess they needed to change a filter or something? But luckily she was so cool to give me back my money and then she sincerely apologized. FYI there was only that one washer that had that funky smell, thank God!! The only thing that sucked about this place is that the restroom says it's out of order... Which is hard to believe. another thing is they barely have anything in the vending machine only a few boxes of detergent... No snacks!!:( The parking lot is kind of small, and very busy, but having 7-11 next door is very convenient! I came here today with my friend who demanded we come to this one instead of my favorite one ( Rio Laundry Mat), because she lives close by. And I might be back again sometime! Thank you to Darlene!!!! Great customer service!! read more

The washer machines (medium sized) smelled dirty. The hand wash area is dirty. Sink was broken. No paper towels either.

I am so lucky to have found this gem. Many laundry places are not well cleaned or maintained, however this one is. It is definitely an upgrade over the laundry room from the apartment complex. read more

I rarely write reviews , but this place is a scam . F , no ! I had to put soap almost 4x . it kept going idk where ! not overloaded nor oversoaped . it was annoying I ended up having to buy more soap there . smh avoid at all costs . machines are funky. read more

I never thought I'd be writing a Yelp review about a coin laundromat but my experience with Lucky (the owner) prompted me to write one. First of all, the laundromat is well air-conditioned, all the machines work, the facility is clean, and there's surveillance cameras all around which makes me feel extra safe. Lucky walks around the laundromat offering help, which is so nice. He is just a really kind and helpful person. I hope more people come to his laundromat and support his business because he deserves it. I will definitely be back!! read more

Lucky Coin Laundry - Laundromat Near Me - Encino, California

Needed clothes washed and returned the same day on 7/3 (right before holiday). All done by 4 - and quality fluff & fold!

Prices have gone up since last time I came (July 2018). Cheapest washer is now $3.25, and the biggest one is $5.50 I will be looking for another place in the area with better pricing for the same washers. They have restrooms and a tiny flat screen! Cheers! read more

First of all let me Start off saying that The staff are absolutely sweethearts, I had a massive load of laundry and my husband did not want me to be at the laundromat for five hours So he took it to Lucky coin laundry and They've done my laundry. Let me explain something to you I did lots of sold many of times, this was one of the best places ever, they pack and wash all neatly and most of the stuff they meetly put it on hangers and put plastic around it. I highly recommend this laundromat they are sweethearts and they get the job done. read more

Yikes! I don't know how they are getting all these great reviews. My standards my be really high or are they all like this? I usually don't do laundry at coin laundry places. Thinking Encino was a pretty decent area I thought I would give this place a try. The owner seems nice but the place is trash. Along with trash on the floors everywhere along with being dirty, a guy proceeded to take off his clothes to wash them, or whatever he was doing. The place is really small too and it was just not a nice place to be. Lots of shady characters around that area too. read more

I don't know where the high reviews are coming from BUT.... DO NOT come here on Saturday or Sunday, if it can be avoided. Way TOO busy. No dryers available. AND their fluff n food business takes up the majority of the machines. It's FILTHY, too, on the weekends. I mean BIOHAZARD dirty. I've been here on the weekdays, too and it's a little better. The area between washing machine rows are STUPIDLY narrow and makes the simplest of clothes removal impossible if there is another person opposite you. Many people bring BIG suitcases of clothes, too and that makes it more difficult to do one load. There is no place to sit except for one very uncomfortable, dirty bench that fits two people, max. Prices are average: $2.00, $3.25, and $4.25 for washes; .25 cents for 10 minutes of drying. The ONLY good news is that there are not a lot of "out of order" machines IF you can get one. Bottom line: Find another place. read more

I wrote a review of Lucky Laundry several years ago, but just wanted to update it. At this point, I've been using Lucky Laundry for, I believe, over 10 years and am still EXTREMELY happy there! I use the fluff-n-fold service regularly; my clothes come back with pants and shirts on hangers, and towels, etc VERY neatly and precisely folded and bagged! Lucky and his staff are GREAT.. always smiling when I go in, always going the extra mile! I'm definitely a very satisfied long-term customer! read more

I love the fluff and fold service here. The girls are super friendly and amazing at their job. Lucky (the owner) is always friendly and willing to help. They have a very quick turn around when needed. I would highly recommend using them. read more

I simply love this place! "Lucky" is the owner's name. I drop my laundry off here every other week on average. They've never lost an article of clothing, the clothes always come back super-clean and smelling wonderful. They'll put your hangable items on hangers too! I ask them not to for me, but what a professional touch. Like the drycleaners do! The folks that work there have that 'glass half-full' attitude and there are words of inspiration posted in the office area to remind us all to stay positive! Thank you Lucky and company! I'm glad you're there for the community!!!! :) read more

They saved the day!- When my washer broke and I had 95 lbs. of laundry, Lucky Coin saved the day. Super efficient, clean and kind.

Be ware the price has gone up to $1.50 a Lb. I almost tipped over when I went to pay. Apparently fluff and fold now is the same price range a dry cleaning. read more

Not sure how this place gets as many stars at it does. I was there on a Sunday and will never come back. It's expensive compared to other places and you don't get much for your dollar. They have new model washers and half the dryers look updated, but not very well maintained. The carts are dirty, the washer detergent areas are gross, and can't get change for no more than a $5 bill which didn't work for half my bills. Only gave 2 stars for updated machines. read more

I have been going to this place for almost 5 years. It is always clean and the machines are well maintained. Kudos to the management

Horrible someone stole my clothes right out the dryer walked outside for 15mins and came back inside and poof gone. I know who it was he was no where to be found strange he had lots of clothes he was folding when I placed mine in the dryer. I have filed a police report just ghetto ass laundry I have been to laundromats in Compton and no one has ever stole my clothes! Will never be back. Also parking is horrible next to a ghetto 7-eleven and people are noisy it's ridiculous! Enjoy my woman underwear ASSS! read more

I got a chance to talk to Lucky (the owner) today, who explained his two goals are: 1) to maintain the equipment, so it provides good value to his customers, and 2) provide his customers a safe and secure environment to do their laundry. Towards the first goal, he said the washers spin to extract as much water as possible (hence much less work for the driers), and he's set the temp of driers to maximum (200 deg) and cleans the lint filters daily to ensure they're operating at peak efficiency. To the second goal, the laundromat has a well-lit parking lot, and there's many security cameras inside (and an employee on duty); all done to make customers feel safe and secure. Lucky is a friendly, down-to-Earth guy, and I wish him all the luck and success in the World! read more

Ok, just gotta say. This laundromat has potential. But needs more cleaning. No paper towels and place was a mess. Outside well... Pressure washing cost is not that pricey. It would be nice to walk into a clean place where I go to wash/clean my clothes. Other than that I think is a good place. All washers/dryers work. Good value. read more

I'm so appreciative that every time I come here everything is so clean every single time and when you need assistance, they are eager to help. It's not easy to find a clean and comfortable laundromat to come to in the valley. I feel safe as I'm a single mom so my safety is also important! read more

I have been coming to Lucky Coin Laundry for about 10 years. Lucky is always kind and greets all of his customers. All staff have been following safety guidelines during COVID and require the sake of their customers. The laundry mat is clean and located in a great area, well lit and safe. They also have various sized washers and dryer's which is unlike most laundry mats in the valley. read more

I have be going to Lucky cleaners for over 25 years. It's nice to see the same people year after year working there. They do an outstanding job. Always ready when promised. My shirts on hangers with no wrinkles and my sheets and towels folded nicely. I highly recommend Lucky cleaners if you are looking to save time. The quality of work and the attention to detail is definitely High. I could go on but I think it's best that you give them a try if you're looking for a cleaners to do fluff and fold. read more

The man who was working this morning was extremely helpful and friendly. Very willing to answer any questions we had about the fluff and fold service (we were just using the washers this time). The washers and dryers were great and had 3 different sizes. Small laundry soap, softener, dryer sheets, and even hangers available for purchase in a dispensable machine. $1.25 per pound for the fluff and fold which is only a little more expensive than the fluff and fold. Definitely doing the fluff n fold! read more

there were so many NATS! It was unbearable. I don't think I'll be returning I spent most of my time there scratching and swatting them off and away from my clothes :( read more

This laundromat is extremely based and absolutely goated with all the sauce. My man who owns this place is fighting the good fight for all other laundromats in the valley. Make sure you leave my brother in Christ a good review as the haters be dropping the stars down faster than Mercury in the microwave. read more

This was my first time using this laundromat. I will never be coming back. The washing machines themselves worked and my laundry got done, though the experience was less than desirable. I was minding my own business when a woman comes over she started filming me and taking pictures of me and showing them to me on her phone. The entire time I was drying my laundry she was taking pictures and recording me. I went to the owner and he said he would not do anything, that I had to handle the situation. I felt so uncomfortable being there with this stranger following me around the laundromat, also confused why the owner would not do anything. Again, never coming back here. read more

I used their fluff and fold service and was very pleased! I had a lot of laundry from weeks of delaying doing laundry and they handled it like champs. Everyone who I interacted with were incredibly pleasant and kind. I had arrived on a Monday and was able to pick up Tuesday. Unfortunately, I was swamped and didn't get to pick up my clothes until Thursday, but they were kind and patient. The clothes were organized and cleaned perfectly and they hung almost all my items (no wrinkles!). They put a lot of care and time into their work and I would trust them with any of my clothes. Lucky is very kind and friendly--very reasonably priced and very nice people! There's lots of parking too, which is a small thing, but really convenient when you have lots of laundry to haul to and from your car! read more
